- It's a rally car. Wait, it's a daily driver. No, it's both! It's the perfect compromise of budget, rally (or rallycross) friendly, and still pick up the kids from soccer practice. So long as you're ok with a bit of road noise from the gravel tires, this Hyper Blue STi is ready to get stupid.

Used this video for a rally look build on my VA WRX. In the process of installing king lift springs. We met once at Subiefest Texas. Think i was the only one who recognized you chilling by the VSC section.
Method has 16" wheels that fit over the brembos. Take the money you save not doing the brake downgrade and put into coilovers.

Great video. I’m looking to do this with my 2019 sti. I had a couple questions. What’s the part number for the struts? Also are they longer than stock?
Another question is how are the king springs vs a rally tech 2 inch lift kit? And my last question was how do these mods affect the alignment? Will I be able to have the correct alignment for daily driving? Thanks in advance!
I'm curious about the specs too, but also assuming the good'ol 15" Methods on a 205/65R15 tire. 🤔

What size tires did you go with?
I'm guessing from the brief glimpse of tires they are 180/650R15
Correct. That's the only size Yokohama rally tire currently in the USA. We would probably size down to a 170/650R15. The 180/650 is equivalent to a 205 on section width.
Is there a way to calculate an equivalent tire size in the two digit sidewall to width ratio number? For example: 205/70 R15

I was hoping to see a list of what was used in the build.
Just Ship me the frame body and engine, $5000. Keep the turbo too! I'd have to swap everything else out anyways.
You know what car manufactures need to do? Give people options to buy a stripped out car of the lot. Why can't we just buy a project car half built from the manufacturer? It would cut cost for them and the consumer.
What do I care about road speed. This car stock is fine for that.
