After rewatching this video, I'm 99% sure that Elizabeth already knew that Cid was the one who had stolen her gold coins and was just teasing him and using it as an excuse to spend time with him. Think about it. If she was really looking for her gold coins, then why was she already observing Cid in secret before he noticed her? Why isn't she busy looking for her gold coins instead of approaching Cid to ask him about them?
I like to think Elizabeth use this chance of finding gold to spend time with Cid. She is one clever lady. Edit: Also, 9:04 This is the look of someone who wants something more. 😏
