I find this scene, very interesting and heartwarming. After John Smith/Shadow defeated Gettan and his organisation were destroyed, Alpha decides to speak with Yukime in regards to this situation, and ofc, Shadow/John Smith did not betray Shadow Garden (I already knew that from beginning).
Alpha - All of it was Lord Shadow's plan from the very beginning. Yukime - Ah, how brilliant. I never suspected. Shadow - Damn it! Why did everything go wrong?! Delta - Woof!

Correction - Alpha never calls Cid as Shadow-sama or Lord Shadow. She calls him Shadow or Cid (in game).
She is the only SG member who doesn't use sama to Shadow.

Blows me away how Alpha and Shadow Garden can resolve all of these issues, mean while Shadow is literally just a high schooler weebing out hardcore.

In the manga and the novel yukine openly consider alpha her rival in love. Alpha clearly says that yukine is now the number one in the lawless city as the black tower as been destroyed by delta.
Which also fuels to the conspiracy that Shadow orchestrated it that way so Yukine, now affiliated with Shadow Garden, is the sole power and authority in the lawless city but in reality it was all coincidence Cid just made up stuff but still worked ended in the best outcome! Fuking Hilarious!

Cuz literally he's a lucky plot god in Shadow mode: everything he states as truth comes to be the truth, every random things he does for fun or just to act cool turns into a long shot benefit for him
The curse of a chuuni: he's confident of the script and role he put himself in, but in regard to everything else he turns to perceive his chuuni mode as just something for fun and inconsequential to his surroundings (or in other words not serious at all).
That's why he just either too prideful about asking money from his underlings or just simply oblivious to how real his influence is or the whole reality of what Shadow Garden has become
@@narukamishirou284 I've always wondered if his "true power" is that anything that causes him to maintain being Eminence in Shadow comes true but everything else fails it's why he always ends up poor as money isn't needed to become / maintain being Shadow. It's why no matter how crazy his plans are it always work out for the best as as otherwise it would cause him to either stop being the Eminence in Shadow and / or show him not to be the legend everyone believes him to be

I like this anime because it fills the gaps in the manga pretty well and changes the scenes accordingly

Shadow pretty much got woman for days that will to do his bidding and here he is just doing what he thinks is cool.
That's kinda the way to get women's attention though. Focusing in fulfilling your own goals, while giving the people around you just enough attention to have meaningful interactions. In that sense, Shadow certainly has more rizz than Cid given his goals are more serious, but even Cid got a few girls looking after him.

In the manga, this is his last scene, but the anime will put her somewhere I think since they need to market the game 🤔
The anime did bring back Sherry despite her not being seen in the LN since, so Yukime might cameo in the anime at some point
