Did you say your name was Dave? I could barely catch it. Well, Dave thank you for doing this review it was great...and why yes thanks for asking about what we want reviews for!... I would love it if it was at all possible if you could somehow snag a female (maybe convince your wife) if you could showcase the female American crew from American Giant or anything they have in the women's department omg I would be internally grateful!! I ordered a medium and I AM SO LOST I got it on clearance ( for 65 bucks) and I have absolutely not the foggiest inkling if it will fit ( final sale).....with some shirts im small some medium meh, the chest area is what I am most worried about, idk, if you could look into it that would be so cool. I noticed a lot of reviews on yelp and such for AG are women so I do think it is worth while because I think a lot of us are buying their apparel.

Hey, I just got my 10 Year Crew in Charcoal from Huckberry. I have a similar sizing issue as you. I'm 6'1", about 155-160, so I took your advice and ordered a small. It fits right on, but *could* be a little longer. I still don't want to sacrifice the tailored look though by getting a size Medium. The Small is also a little snug through the arms. Can you comment on whether the material stretches at all over time?

I haven't noticed it stretch that much, but your mileage may vary. I do agree: I think it could be a little longer

Washing and drying is my biggest concern. Are you drying them on low heat? Hang dry? And how much do they shrink! Thx.

yeah I will usually air dry or dry on very low. So far I haven't experienced any noticeable shrinking. But I guess your mileage may vary.

I wash cloths for a living (fluff and fold) been doing it for like 8 years and all I can say is...if you really want something to last, hang dry, but do not use metal hangers...I would use the thickest hanger ( better if wooden) so that it wont stretch out the shoulders and then as soon as its dry dont hang it fold it

I absolutely hate the look and feel of the hoodies...someone about them makes me want to punch the wearer, their parents, and even their grandparents. LOL! But I absolutely love a great feeling, excellent fitting, comfortable and yet durable sweatshirt. My problem is that I can't find clothes to fit. I'm 5'11" with a 47-1/2 chest and 33-34 waist so Large is either too tight in the chest, shoulders, or both...yet the length and waist are usually pretty good. XL will alleviate room in the chest, but the waist is so baggy that it fits two people...and the jersey and sleeves are almost always too long, and neck line often appears to be plunging. Regardless, I'll check 'em out and hope for the best. Cheers!
Oh, as far as product reviews go...yeah, I have a request. Where and the heck can I get a great fitting, quality, V-Neck t-shirt these days?

Great reviews! I have sort of the opposite problem of you; I'm a little bit on the shorter side (5'8) and thus shorter arms (33') but I lift and have a size 41 inch chest, which makes finding things that fit well extremely difficult.

I think the Aerican Crew might really work for you then! Both might, but the AG sweatshirt might fit better.

Your over 6foot tall, no reason a small anything should fit you!
    That's just ridiculous.
    I'm 5'5" I'd never wear a small.
No offense, seriously, but put both arms up like a ref signals a touchdown. That think will ride up to your ribcage. C'mon man. Not a good review if you are AT ALL active.

    • @BeastMadeReviews

If you are active, you'll need a different type of sweatshirt. It's difficult to find something that fits everyone perfectly. For me, I'm on the thinner side (and taller), so finding something that fits in the length will often mean that it is way too big in the chest. So I have to make a compromise somewhere, and if I had to choose, I would rather it be slightly short but fits well rather than have something that doesn't fit well be the right length. But some brands seem to get it right.

      @@BeastMadeReviews thanks that actually helps...lol!
It's why I wear good base layer underneath if I'm doing something that requires range of motion. Good advice thanks
