Love your headband! 💃🏻💃🏻Awesome haul! If you lightly pre crack your egg on the flatter side before boiling .. the shells come right off after sitting in ice water. They slide off … easy 😊
Trick for peeling eggs get them started then use the back of a spoon to peel. Works pretty good!
When you boil your eggs, use a ton of salt. Like pretty much a brine! I saw Martha Stewart do that years ago and I've done it ever since. It works like a charm. If you put the egg on the counter and roll it, it will literally just fall right out of the shell out of the shell.
I am also not a huge fan of mushy oatmeal but I have been making this oatmeal bake that I am obsessed with, probably have made it 20 times since I found the recipe. 1 overripe banana, 1 egg, splash of vanilla, 2/3 cup old fashioned oat, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, about 1/2 cup blueberries. Mix all together and put in small casserole dish or loaf pan, bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. 2 servings, 2 points each. SO GOOD warm with a little fat free redi-wip. I have also added some raspberries or strawberries. I made it with unsweetened applesauce instead of the banana and that was good too. Beware, it is addictive.
Ok saving this. Yum! Thanks for sharing
I use our instant pot and put the eggs in there with a cup of water. 5 minutes instant pot, 5 minutes on release and 5 minutes over ice water. They are so easy to peel.
I have a hack for peeling your hard boiled eggs, after cooking rinse with cold water & let sit for a couple minutes so you don't burn your hands. Put an egg in a coffee cup & put one hand over top, shake up & down 4-5 times, take out & peel! It works every time for me, big sections of shell come off at one time, as long as they're warm this trick works😊
Thank you! Tried this today but didn’t keep them warm. I’ll try that
When you boil your eggs the trick I have found is to let them come to a boil and turn them off and put a lid on them. When you put them in the water put some salt in the water with them. After you put the lid on them let them sit in the hot boiling water for 14 minutes. They come out perfectly boiled and mine always peel perfectly. Thought I would share
Thank you for sharing
@@teresakowal71 your very welcome. Hope it helps
Thanks for sharing!
Air fry eggs at 270 degree for 17 to 18 minutes depending on how many you boil put in just cold water enough to just get them where you can touch them and they pill really easy
You look so cute in headbands! Love those ones and what a great price! Would make great Easter basket treats for your girls too :)
Hey Friend, Happy Friday. I love the grocery haul and shopping in store. ❤ Aldi’s is such a great store for groceries that’s affordable and they have quite a bit of stuff, I always love walking down the aisle of shame to see what they have there as well. ❤🥰
if you have an instant pot definitely try making the eggs in there! i also love making them in the air fryer!
If you tap the egg on the counter and then roll with a little pressure to Crack the rest, it should peel easier :) love your headband! You really pull it off. ❤
try doing your hard boiled eggs in the instant pot, - 1 cup water and I usually do a dozen at a time, 5 min on high pressure - 5 min slow release - then ice water...you'll not have any more problems peeling eggs 😀
Get an egg cooker it is the best and so easy to peel afterwards. Perfect every time.
Okay I do have the best overnight oats recipe! I use almond milk to cut the calories and don’t miss regular milk but that’s personal preference. Also I don’t have measurements 😂 BUT it’s oats, some sliced strawberries or a little strawberry jam, a little peanut butter, and a few chocolate chips. Add your milk until the oats are just about covered. Tastes like peanut butter and jelly!
Yum! For sure trying this one. Sounds simple and good! I’m going to try with PB2!
Love the headband on you especially the tan one. Very cute.
I hard boil my eggs in my air fryer! I love it that way!! I set it to 275 and preheat it, then put the eggs in the basket and start it for 12 to 17 minutes. I like them completely done. Then just run cold water on them and I stick them in the fridge. I have no problems peeling them if a pop an egg on the counter and roll it around. So so easy!!
Another great video! Much love from NC

Yummy that chicken looked great❤
Crack the eggs while warm , peel under cold water
I find that cracking and rolling them to create cracks all around the egg helps. Also we tried the hack we saw on a reel where you tap the top of the egg until you hear a snap before you boiled actually worked!
Great grocery haul love your head band have a blessed day 🙏
Your coffee looks so good. Also, like the head band.
Put the eggs in the water after it's already boiling. Let it go about 12 mins and then throw in ice bath. I promise they slide out of the shells every time. After always being the one to have to bring the deviled eggs to holiday events I have tried all methods and this works the absolute best!
The enchilada casserole looked delicious!
Definitely love the hairbands; so cute! What a great grocery haul and I hope the kiddos loved the stuffed mini pancakes. I am going to try the Everything Bagel Seasoning on hard boiled eggs; that looked tasty! The crockpot meal could become a family favourite---yum! Thanks for a great video, Hailey! Blessings abundant!❤😊
Have a great weekend!
I do my eggs in the instant pot and then the ice bath too. I usually crack mine and then roll it on the counter to loosen it and then run it under cold water to get it off easier.
This is what I do. It even works for our farm fresh eggs, which are usually harder to peel. Perfect every time!
I have a Dash egg cooker. The eggs turn out great everytime and easy to peel!
I airfry my eggs because I could never get them to peel right when I boiled them. Try the air fryer method (260 degrees for 16 minutes) and they cook and peel perfectly!
So do I 🙂
Friday blessings to you and your family today and every day. You look great in the headbands. I heard that if you put a little baking soda in your water with the eggs, it makes the shell come off easier. That casserole looks so delicious.
Great haul
I put baking soda in when boiling my eggs it really helps when peeling them 👌
Amazing what Americans eat
Aldi is my first stop every single month. I have been cooking hard boiled eggs in the air fryer. Preheat air fryer to 290°. While it's preheating, soak eggs in water. Cook for 20 mins. They turn out great & are easy to peel.
I actually got the egg cooker gadget from Aldi when they had them. They do bring stuff back from time to time so look out for it. I know I’ve seen them at Walmart and Hobby Lobby but they peel super easily after!!
I use steamer to boil eggs. 14 minutes on high with lid on. Wait until water starts boiling to start time. Immediately put in ice water
I have been doing my hard eggs in the air fryer, so easy to peel and cook perfectly
Me too!
I have a dash egg cooker. Perfect hard boiled eggs every time and so easy to peel.
The little Dash brand boiled egg cookers work great and the eggs peel really easily if you just put them in ice water for a minute and then peel them pretty quickly. The only thing about mine is that the timer alarm is kind of loud. I leave my eggs in for six minutes more after I turn it off because I like them well done.
I do all my hard boiled eggs in the instant pot
I said it for two minutes and do a natural release when the pin drops I put them in ice water
If you peel the eggs under running water, it helps it so much! The peel doesn’t stick to the egg as much.
I love watching your food hauls.
If you have an instapot boiled your eggs in there and you will never look back:) I do the 5:5:5 method and come out perfect every time
This one I got from Becky on Acre Homestead., In a dish Beat 2 eggs, 1/2 brown sugar , 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp of salt, whisk well, Now add 1 tsp of vanilla, 4 cups of quick oats, 2 cups of milk, 1/2 cup of heavy cream, 1 stick of melted butter. now you can add blue berries, or any fruit you like, I've made the blue berry, and the peach. Now pour this into a sprayed dish, or you can bake it in a Iron skillet if you like. Bake 375 for 30 minutes. Enjoy Oh and you can drizzle syrup over it as well. this is so good.
The chocolate brioche bread for French toast ! Thank me later 😅
The enchilada casserole looked so yummy! I wish we had Aldi. We dont have any in western usa. Oh well. I have cooked my eggs in the oven before, but the bad thing is heating up the whole oven for just 25 minutes. I guess it's no different than cooking a pizza. I really like them that way. So you could probably cook them in an air fryer or insta pot I would assume. Great video
For me the Instant Pot is the best for boiling eggs, then in cold water!
I love the Hawaiian Chicken at Aldi
After you boil your eggs and they have cooled tap the end of egg you will hear a pop and they will peel so easy
Do you have a pressure cooker? They make it so the shells slide off boiled eggs!
Wish I liked hard boiled eggs because they are such a good snack! Don’t like them at all! Love that you always throw in a crockpot recipe! That one looks so good! Going to make it tomorrow. Have a small crockpot at work. Cook in the crockpot on Saturdays because I’m the only one in the office that day. Have plenty for lunches for the week. Thanks for sharing!
Hope you like it!❤
Your aldi looks nice and big ! Ours isn’t as large 😟but you got some good finds !
PEELING BOILED EGG HACK: crack the larger bottom of the egg first and begin peeling, making sure you get the thin membrane along with the eggshell. Peels perfectly every time!
Your recipes always look so good. I’m thinking of rejoining weight watchers and it sure helps when someone gives great ideas. Thank for sharing. Love your videos
Thanks for being here❤
I hated boiling eggs for the very same reason. But, if you gently tap the bottom of the egg with a spoon until you hear a “pop” and then boil them and submerge them in cold water, I promise you they will peel perfectly. It has been a game changer for me!!
What have you been having for lunches?
I hate boiling eggs to but love them! I dont want to buy pre packaged ones so I ordered this dash egg cooker thing but a different brand off amazon. Should come in today, reviews claim they are so easy to peel. I hope it works better than boiling them! lol
Oooh report back! I need one!
Hi Hailey. I too have the same problem peel hard boiled eggs. But, I believe the difference between them peeling easily and not is because the fresher the egg, the harder it is to peel. This is why "The fresher the eggs, the harder they are to peel. This is because the egg white or “albumen” in a fresh egg has a relatively low pH level, making it acidic. When cooked, these fresh egg whites bond strongly to the inner shell's membrane. So, eggs that are a little less fresh, but still good to eat, will peel easily." So, it's not you; it's the eggs. Love your vlogs. Thank you:)
The best way to cook ur eggs is in the pressure cooker for 3-7 mins...5 min natural release then in ice water...the easiest eggs to peel u will ever have peeled!!!
Do you ever look at the label and ingredients of what you buy for your family. m big on reqading labels and ingredients.
I've found that the older the eggs, the easier they are to peel. Obviously not expired or bad eggs, but just not super fresh.
The easiest way I found to make boiled eggs is in my egg cooker, Walmart has some really inexpensive or Target sells the Dash brand, which is the one I have and I love it. My overnight oats is usually, 1/2 cup oats, coconut, oat or almond milk, cinnamon, vanilla extract, I add chia seeds and hempseeds for extra protein and a little bit of maple syrup, next day I add some banana 🍌 or berries, you can add peanut butter, options are endless 😊
I second this! The egg cooker is a game changer for boiled eggs.
@@brittanyr8182 yess, I have tried the boiled eggs from stores but I think I like the ones I make at home with my egg cooker better😊
Peel it under water work wonderful for me
My mom always said the fresher the eggs are the harder it is to peel them
But….does it really matter what they look like….your just gonna eat them or mash for egg salad etc
Do your kids color eggs for Easter ….my grandkids LOVE to do that but won’t eat eggs…
The Aldi cold brew reminds me of Starbucks cold brew. Personally not my favorite. I love the Stok
Why do the at home lattes taste better from a left over Starbucks cups lol
You have to use old eggs. Fresh eggs will not peel.
Try peeling your eggs under running water.
Peel them under running water but rub them around in your hands first.
I do not care for oatmeal but I do like overnite oats. I use unsweetened almond milk, my oats are depending on how much points I want to use on the oats, but I add PB2, unsweetened Aldi cocoa powder, Splenda, sometimes I add banana, Another one is a Cinnamon Roll overnite oats, I googled that recipe and adjust to my WW points. Those 2 go too’s
Peel the eggs under the water
The already boiled
eggs are disgusting! Do you have an instant pot? The shells practically fall off!
