Great video, and Anaconda and Nighthawk are (were) definitely underrated/overhated/underappreciated. One correction, the Mack Bobsled at Kings Dominion isnt the same as the La Vibora Intamin model, as stated. Ya might wanna add a note or something to the video.
As a New Yorker (NYC), Great Adventure has been my home park all my life going back to the '80s. Kingda Ka will be missed sorely, I can't even count the amount of times I rode it, and it genuinely always scared and excited me (though I have always put it 3rd behind El Toro and Nitro). Green Lantern will NOT be missed at all, that was so painful. As for the others, I hadn't been on Anaconda in over 20 years but I remember not loving anything after the first drop and vertical loop. I've not ridden Nighthawk, but I LOVED Batwing when we rode it in 2017. I was so pleasantly surprised with the Vekoma Flying Dutchman, I'm sad to know there's only one left.
omg nighthawk was one of my favorite roller coasters after riding it last June, though it doesnt have a pretzel loop intense element it is way more consistent and great the whole way through. I never found it janky or painful at all and it's very sad that it's gone. I am a green lantern lover and all the elements done standing up makes it way more fun. Obviously Kingda Ka is the big one this year, definitely my favorite of this list, that launch with that speed is unmatched in america.
I also think Time Warp would have also closed last year also with no annual winter maintenance started on it this year, the trains are just sitting in the station.
My nephew got to experience scorpion with me a few months before it closed he's a little coaster fanatic. He initially didn't want to but i weas like you've got to try old school before they are all gone. He's glad he did seeing as it closed. From an reliable source who i know personally scorpion closed due to lack of parts and cost to have new ones made.
I've only been on 2 of those rides Nighthawk (then Borg) and Scorpion, both were good rides, I hope Gene Staples can save Scorpion for one of his parks. I'm also a bit upset that that they didn't relocate Green Lantern to a smaller park that could use it like Darien Lake, Michigan's Adventure, Valleyfair, etc. and convert it to a floorless.
i wish i can get in all but i been with my home park sfgm and i trying to get on all the ride i can is demon i know one day it will go and i really really going to miss it so that but but i regrade of not being all the ride is getting remove and king ka was my 1 ride to get one for my launch so i will miss that one but top 2 will be on so i might make a trip to go there
Kingda Ka was one of the biggest draws by far. Its going to be a mistake not renovating it if the replacement does not seem like a worthy replacement. Intamin could have done some incredible work with ka.
CORRECTION: Reptilian at Kings Dominion is a MACK Rides Bobsled, not an Intamin one.
Dude I have always wanted to ride Kingda Ka that absolutely broke my heart 😢😭
Kingda Ka*
😂 did not see that
I will deeply miss Ka.
Me too! It's like I'm mourning over it! 😭😭😭
Never riden it as I live in tx. I’m so sad I’ll never get to ride such an iconic coaster

Whoops, I definitely misspoke there. Thanks for catching that, I’ll make a pinned comment.

Great video! Good video idea! Its cool you got to ride all of these! I really enjoyed watching this!

Good video eric. I hope theme park avenue doesn't close this year :(
It will not. I have three videos ideas that I plan to start on soon. Uploads will remain slow, but they're not stopping yet.

Scorpion should be donated to knoebels. Love that little coaster. Also sucks top thrill didn’t work out. Killed kinda ka

Having anaconda higher than green lantern is crazy. Green lantern is bad but not worse than anaconda. Imo
It’s his opinion but okay…
I totally agree with his take. Green Lantern is in my top 5 worst rides ever even back when it was Chang.

Can't believe you didn't pay respect to the SBF Visa spinner at St Louis Incredible Pizza Company.
RIP my king, gone too soon.
It would have been #1.
