Tysm for the help!! I was just trying to figure out how to get the patch onto my Wii, and the beginning portion of your tutorial made it super easy for me!
Thank you, I'm glad the video helped you out!!! All of my channel art both here and on twitch was made by my lovely fiancee, she rocks :) instagram.com/the.salty.pepper/ for more of her art
Good video, way more information than I thought I'd find. Definitely cool stuff with the custom textures. I do not know who was in charge of naming the files for the RWE patch, but the consistency is horrid. The first file with Proper Capitalization looks like the updated, maintained file, but has no version number. It's also the largest size (due to containing three total alternate patch files). The middle file is the smallest, and is *almost* named like the first one, but *has* a version number. Then the final file, the medium size, *has* a version number matching the news feed saying 1.5.0 was released, but the filename itself is all lowercase and almost looks like an afterthought. They're small enough that I could just download all of them and check, but it's just *really* not great clarity as someone who is seeing things for the first time and doesn't know which files are 'new' in the download list. Am I out of line here?
This was such a helpful and informative video, thanks so much! I'm running dolphin on a mac and don't see a "Main Save" folder, just the "backup" version. Also can't find the wiimote1.bin unfortunately. Any ideas on how to clone deoxys on mac? If not no worries, super helpful regardless!
It should be the same process. If attempting the Wiimote1.bin method, you might just not be running the most recent version of dolphin (it should be more recent than 5.0). Either that, or the Mac version doesn't have a wiimote1.bin file. You should still be able to do the manual method by right clicking the game in dolphin and clicking "open wii save folder". The main save and back up folders were just a folders I made myself for the purpose of manually duping Deoxys. I just made them, then dropped my save from the dolphin save folder into those. From there, you can follow the method in the video by continually flip floping the save, putting deoxys in the wiimote, and repeat until you have 4 on the same save. If, for whatever reason, you can't find access to your Rumble save by right clicking, you should be able to find your save somewhere in your dolphin folders (I'm just unsure as to where they might be on Mac)
@@TrainerRobo You're a lifesaver !! idk why I didn't realize the main save and back up folders were ones you created manually, I thought they were part of the dolphin save folder path. This worked like a charm, I was able to dupe them using the manual method. thanks so much for the help, happy rumble weekend!!
Idk if you’ll see this or even have an answer but for some reason my shinies don’t change color, I see the sparkles but they’re the same color as if they weren’t shiny
Pokemon can sparkle and not be shiny. The sparkle just means they're guaranteed to drop. You'll know if it's shiny if the name and trait are blue after you beat them up and get them. in rumble all shiny pokemon sparkle, but not every pokemon that sparkles is shiny
When I start up the game, I get this popup that says "Compatible with the Classic Controller and the Wii Remote. Disconnect any other extension controller from the Wii remote." Do you know how to bypass this popup? Not sure how to get into the game otherwise. I'm using a keyboard/mouse setup for Dolphin.
@@BecomingMoon do you mean you can't even do the code to get Deoxys? If you can't, I would patch whatever the second version of weekend edition is and try that out, because I know that was the one that added the Deoxys code. You can always do the wiimote.bin method to get all 4 instantly (and if that doesn't work, you're not on a recent enough version of dolphin)
@@joshuavc30 you can maybe find a save online but people aren't usually sharing it. The game takes at most like 2 hours to beat all the way through to EX rank, which is the endgame
ive done everything and when i load rumble o dolphin it says 'compatible with the classic controller and the wii remote, disconnect any other exstention controller from the wii remote' u think u could help me out?
when i start the game its just a black screen it doesnt show me the main menu but i can still load in but none of the ui works when i go to pokemon storage it doesnt pop up but i can still change pokemon blindly. any tips?
Is it saying that on dolphin or on a wii? Regardless of which I haven't ever encountered that so I wouldn't know how to help, my best suggestion would be to look that up
I need help, I am trying to update my rumble wad to 1.1 and both files will not work and I'm using flips. Can you help me so I can update it to 1.5 so I can play the full game with all updates?
I may just be misreading, but it sounds like you're attempting to pacth a RWE 1.1 WAD with the 1.5 patch. If that's the case, you actually have to apply the 1.5 patch to the base WAD, not a WAD that was already patched with Weekend Edition.
If that's not the case and you're trying to apply the patch to an unpatched base Rumble, then you might need to try to find another Rumble WAD and try again, because that's about the only thing you can do. Unfortunately, I can't help much with that.
so i tried to configure my remote settings and i am using keyboard and mouse, i set all the controls to the keys i wanted but the keys i set for the A and B button arent doing anything..... i dont know what im doing wrong
Sorry, the first yes was from after I woke up, here's more specific info. Last I checked (info might have changed since then) We're not 100% sure how it affects the shiny odds, but we assume the base odds are around 1/8192. Every player added increases the first number, so with two players it would be 2/8192, three would be 3/8192, and the four player max would be 4/8192. Hope this helps, and if you have any other questions regarding Rumble, I would recommend checking out part 1
@@TrainerRobo ok thanks a lot this really helps and yeah as of what ive seen with my hunts multiplayer definitely helps but some of my hunts take much longer too so i cant confirm anything either

@@psycholol4855 to be fair, the point of the to hack is specifically for shiny hunting. If you're hunting in the game, you've already beaten it. Like I said already too, it's just a few hours, the original Rumble is really short. Gx isn't in the base game, just the romhack
