Karen McGee my name is Richard Earl edge I was born in Scotland and I have special needs and I am a special Olympic bowling state champion and nationals champion in Richmond Virginia and advocate for special needs children and adults with disabilities and graduated from partner's in policy making class so I grew up with out a father in my life due to my mental illness cause my father joe edge abandoned me and told my mom I wasn't his son so he's also walked out on my brother Stephen daughter and so all I get is one phone call a weekend

Karen McGee my uncle Brian and my cousin Patrick has died and my grandmother Jean edge passed away and my grandfather papa son died and my grandmother granny Kane has Alzheimer's disease the doctors say in Scotland there's nothing else that the doctors can do Alzheimer's disease is only going to get worse and my mom has thyriod disease and sorcoudosis and my mom is the greatest mother in the world and I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for my mom the mistakes I made in life with law enforcement cause I am mentally ill and police officers were called to my residence after I accidentally cut my step dad Stewart walker with a knife during a struggle and my mom and Stewart walker he was in the kitchen when I was having medication problem and needed to get my meds changed and I told neighbors to call police after I cut my step dad by accident and I have a medical problem called post dramtic stress disorder and I had a sezuior in Richmond that almost took my life and I ended up with spinal cord damage so police officers never flashed there lights or nothing they pulled up and viscously attacked me and slammed me on the street and slammed me on my mom car and threaten to kill me if I resisted arrest I never resisted arrest so police officers threatened to kill me in front of my family and my neighbor took a video taped it so that way police officers can't say they didn't threaten me
I wish my dad was in my life maybe I wouldn't have it so hard. If and when I do have a son I'll be there for him no matter what. This made me cry its great to see them bring a positive change into this young man's life.
"My yearbook is full of ghosts, everybody is dead" very deep statement. I hope this kid listened to what these men tried to tell him. I love to see young kids get mentored by those that have been there and can speak truth to them and let them see that there is another way.
Speaking of potential, DMX has plenty of it. One of his main downfalls is the drugs. It is so obvious that the drugs has control over him and taken his life into a path he is tring to get out of. I wish someone can also help him with like rehab or something/ Drugs is a terrible thing to get hooked onto to. Many never fully recover once they go on. Blessings to all.
