You guys are trying to start up something. Is that really what you want to do to the canucks? Are you trying to sabotage them for your personal financial or fame gain? Grow up, grow a pair, let it be, let it go, move on, let play begin. I enjoy watching hockey, not your melodrama, gotcha, nosey behaviour! Drop the puck!
I would be super pissed if I had expensive season tickets or a monthly Canucks tv sports package. As a paying fan, I'd expect players to play through off ice issues like a professional else refund my money. Online Canucks nation would be up in arms if Pety took a month long hiatus.
@@glgl7676 JT never took a hiatus. He was benched and then told to go home by mgmt. If you want to be super pissed then blame your Petey and magmt. for their roles in this affair. It's likely mgmt supports their bad contract decision and are protecting their asset while the team -led by JT- -have hand enough.
Its up to the coach to deal with this friction. The coach benches 1 player for bad play yet Pettersson gets off with his poor play .. Consistency for all the players needs to happen..
The difference is that when Petey plays poorly his offense drops off, but his defensive metrics are still good, if not better. When Miller plays poorly he's a defensive liability. Tocchet's system is okay with offensive slumps but is very unforgiving with those who are defensively irresponsible.
@RyanDawson-d3n That's kinda the point, right? Our D core is so bad we rely heavily on strong two way play. Without defensively responsible forwards we're going to get run over every game.
Canucks were 2nd now are 3rd in the least high danger scoring chances given up this season, so yes as poor as some of the d men have played individually, the system is working. Petey is one of the best defensive players at 5 on 5 as well as killing penalty’s.
If I were to chose, keep Miller over Petey. Miller is passionate where Petey isn’t a big game player. I’m sure they can figure it out. They are professionals
Petey is a big game player. He's showed up consistently in the past when it matters. Give the player some slack. Took McDavid almost 9 years to get to his first conference final, let alone Stanley Cup. The Oilers have have far better drafting luck and they still suck.
What if there are many players that feel the same way and it is Miller that is representing them with his actions? You think all the players giving it their all enjoy putting up with the 11.6m player that is being sheltered because they signed him to an awful contract number?
@@roundnround365 Did you not take note of his production while Miller was away? If he keeps pace he will be close to his normal 90-100 plus points a year. What is it you don't understand about the numbers. A knee injury does not heal in a couple of months.
@@christopherecatalano Pete is the second line center but is being paid to carry the team. He does not. He gets his points from PP padding and the PP is as lame as any excuses for Pete right now. His f/o% sucks and there are five Canucks that score as much and more than he does. He has to grow up and put on his big boy skates because of his pay and the dissention that it causes when you lag as he is.
Great leaders ask great questions. If JT has problems with Petey..then.. be a leader. JT and Petey have emotional issues. Something Canuck executives didn't count on. It's going to be a problem moving forward. .. unfortunately..
Canucks executives decided not to address these issues and signed EP40,anyways. Petey should have been traded before he signed that awful contract ALlvin is responsible for.
Honestly, it's so comical and ridiculous that you and other Canuck fans are jumping on a tweet from Friedman and spreading rumours based on pure speculation. Also, titling the video "Friedman reveals TRUTH on J.T. Miller..." what is this? People magazine?? J.T. Miller took a personal leave and Petey stepped up in his absence. Stop trying to create drama and just enjoy the fact that we survived Miller's absence and our core is, for the first time in awhile, healthy again!
Sorry but upper management needs to treat JT like a player who just had a concussion. JT is one "hit" away from being out for the season or playoffs at anytime. Management needs to hedge their bets and manage their risk accordingly. At 8M cap long term, you need someone you can rely on. Smart move would be to move JT in the off season unless Canucks come close to a cup.
A ticking time bomb and JT needs to go. The Canucks have a small window the next couple of seasons to win it all and need to be hyper focused. No distractions and JTs 8M cap can be used on another big talent with less risk.
I can imagine how Marek was kicked off of 32 Thoughts Podcast. Both hosts would not bend and because Friedman is an insider with a bigger mouth, the other smaller mouth just cannot coexist and had to go!
Negative sells lol this is bullshit, Canucks had an amazing season last year and both petey and miller were big reasons why, so I call bullshit on this. People in general are not going to see eye to eye, it happens in all walks of life, but it’s up to petey and miller tobe professional
Brannstrom has been a minus player in his last 8 games. We’ve had some extra defensemen sitting and not playing much so they’re trying give them games and also to showcase them for a possible trade. Brannstrom will be back, they’re just trying some different looks.
Passionate leader vs overrated lazy star with big contract, this wont end well. JT will play somewhere else and the same old Elias will show up in the playoffs.
Coach is working for Team Canada. I believe he has a hidden agenda to break down Swedish talents, making sure they will not grow up to be a threat to the national team by putting them in the doghouse 😉 Höglander is temporarily laying just outside, giving space for Brännström. Lekkerimäki will not even be allowed into the yard regardless of the number of points per game he produce in Abbotsford.
