That is a great video and I am thinking about that could I use the 12v DC motor for the scissor lift that lifts a maximum of 100kg weight? I mean is there a way to calculate the load restriction of the motor? If you can answer I would appreciate it will use these things in my project.

El motor lleva algún final de carrera? Yo hubiera usado un husillo de rosca trapezoidal con guía dedicada en lugar de varilla roscada y tuerca normal. Por lo demás muy buen video, un trabajo limpio.

Excellent video of this scissor lift. My only reservation on the design is that the weakest part of the scissor mechanism is the fulcrum where holes are drilled for the rotation of the arms. If that part could be strengthened the table would be able to support perhaps several hundred pounds. Nonetheless, it is a beautiful work of construction. Thank you for sharing this video.

the threaded rod through the lone nut is the weakest link. Longevity is at a minimum and all the weight on the table is dependent on that nut.....

Hello, I am writing to you, with the help of an online translator, from Italy. The project is very nice and I intend to realize it, I read that you don't have the drawings, could you at least give me a list of the measures of the various types of iron you used (height, width and thickness)? If possible in millimeters and not in inches. Thank you very much for your possible help.

Why put the motor, screw shaft and battery on the table? Now you have to lift all that unproductive weight they should have been attached to the base.

    • @KwandoTechnic
