I decided to visit my local Toyota dealership to see how much they'd offer me for beauty and well lets just say it was more than I thought. It was a fun video to make and if you enjoy these kinds of videos let me know down in the comments.
Do you think it's a fair deal? Low ball? Take the deal, new build?

Sweet Taco build nice!
Great offer ! But keep it !! It looks killer 🤘🏻
That's a good offer. Wish I can get that kind of offer from dealers.
I worked for Toyota from 1995 to 2008 so I know them well. I'm keeping my 2023 SR Taco double cab 4x4 (currently 1,400 miles) as stock as I can because any upgrades I do, I know based off experience that I'll never get that money back and it's actually a harder sell as many people don't see the value in a lot of the upgrades that others do. I for one went with the base SR because it had everything I wanted in a truck and then some. Think about it, todays SR (base) is the same or more loaded than a full load Taco not long ago. I paid $36,000 plus tax and lic and the next step up was the SR5 at $42,500. I'm happy with this and am hoping to see what happens with the reliability of the new Taco over the next 3ish years as I am very skeptical of the 2.7L turbo motor pulling that kind of weight and seaming to be overworking. If all goes well, I'll probably grab a 2026 Taco. If not I will be very glad I got a 2023 while I did. Lastly, I and old school Toyota and I got to tell ya if you're expecting the same quality in a 2023 Taco as we had back in the 90's and early 2000's, you'll be very disappointed. I have a clunk sound, my steering wheel is off center even after being "fixed" 3x by the dealer and the biggest complaint I have and You'll hear a lot of people complain about is the sh*tty Maaco/back yard paint job. The paint is thin, chalky and full of particle imperfections. Although the Taco is made in Mexico, I'm hoping it'll last but Toyota is starting to taint their name with the poor quality they've been putting out these past 10-15 years. I think the dealer gave you a very fair price but I'd look into seeing if I could get $5k more selling it myself when/if you really want to sell it.
Very good looking truck. Quick question did you do a cab mount chop?
Nice build
Did you ever regear with the 295 set up
i have a 2022 sr5 acc cab. I have wheels tires and a topper. My dealer offered me $39k "2000 miles on the clock"
Would you sell beastie for that price?
What did you pay for it?
Sell it
