I’m a local from Oahu and moved to Pahoa for a few years with my better half. He passed away living in Ainaloa. I had to move back to Oahu to care for my mother but my heart aches to return to Pahoa. I enjoy watching your videos because it brings me back in time. I miss the big island and plan to move back one day. Please Keep up with your videos, it warms my heart as it also brings back the memories of him.
I would have to say this is one of the most beautiful and touching comments I’ve received on my channel. It warms my heart to know that I have touched a place for you and bring back memories. Beautiful!!
we are planning on moving to the big island (Puna area) around october to build our house and I haven't been able to figure out what everyone uses for ground cover. Is it just mowed back vegetation? or is there a specific grass everyone uses?
I found using zoysia grass if your planting grass, and using natural ground covers such as perennial peanut in shady areas works well. Comfrey for boarders and milkweed to attract butterflies. Just some suggestions.
This was satisfying to watch. Always enjoy watching someone doing a good job. well done ✔
And those avocados look tasty 😋
Not a bad way to spend the day.
