ah, huge thing about grenade spam. they need to make gun camos require gun kills. not "kills while effected by tactical" type bullshit. kills, headshots, longshots, bloodthirsties, hipfires, double kills. the old method of mastering a weapons camos. that's a big reason there are so many grenade spammers, they get used to it from the camos, and just never stop.

It wasn't a feature: it was a bug. Tac sprint instantly reset because you stopped a slide before completion. That sounds like an issue. IW did NOTHING to fix it and people abused it for so long they felt they couldn't play without it.
The worst part about cod HQ (in PC) is that MW3 owners that don't buy bo6, will be forced to install the new Bo6 & will have to switch to mw3 from that new menu every single time they want to play mw3 (requiring multiple restarts just to play what you want, on top of installing shaders)

The store, Battle Pass and so much other stuff because I genuinely hate it. Because the screen looks so detailed and confusing in a sort of way, it already takes up 120GB.
I want to see the return of OG old Engineer like Bo1,2,3 and MW2 2009 where you can actually see them highlighted through the walls because since MW2019 it has been unusable

Reduce head glitching. Head glitching is more OP than ever. Mw3 was nothing but finding a head glitch and we lost maps in comp due to the head glitching. Terminal was so bad because killing people on certain head glitches was virtually impossible

I think in regards to sniping, snipers just shouldn't have red dots/ iron sights. It's fine with a scope, because then it is difficult, however pretty much anyone can use a red dot sniper with no issue
facts, I always try to quick scope & I hate when I have to use snipers without scopes from lvl 1 to max like kar98k. But sadly they will just copy paste snipers from recent cods and that means they're bringing all those same red dots to the snipers in bo6 and future cods

Yes it does have enough problems it can mostly only go up. I think the game is fine and people will continue to play it but it's not a CoD killer, it's taking that amount of people they know from their statistics that do not play more due to SBMM so it's a net loss zero.

The revenge spawns are the biggest issue for me. It's infuriating to make good decisions, good plays, get map control, and then have the game decide to just cancel all that out.

I agree with most of the list except for the sniper/shotgun point, I personally like quickscoping and it (most of the time) takes skill to do it properly. If you are not good at it you will get punished by shotgun players, but if you're skilled at it its more often than not a 50/50 chance. Whoever sees the other person first gets the kill.

Lobbies flowing through players and holding the people that stayed was a great part of the game. Gone. Many many times I’d play with and add people that played the objective. Gone when the lobbies wipe.
No close quarter weapon should be outperformed by a sniper rifle. Snipers were made for long range which is why they're 1-shot kills. Now we have a bunch of virgins running around one-clicking you at arm's length. They shouldn't be beating shotguns OR SMG's. Activision won't take any crutches from noobs though.
So how do you fix it. Rather than complain give an idea. Would lowering dmg up close be fair? Would making sniper need to aim to shoot so no no scopes? What would the solution be rather than “this bad fix it”

It's problematic that BO6 will have a long TTK coupled with one-shot-kill potential on the torso and up for sniper rifles. I think that equipping a sniper loadout should come with code that either decreases dmg or mobility up close. Sniper attachments that reduce flinch can be limited. The best bet would probably be a slow ADS for snipers. I'm not really sure what they're aiming for w/ BO6 because while a torse & up 1sk is realistic, being sniped from a few feet away isn't and especially not while under fire.
Easiest fix for quickscopes and snipers being better than shotguns in general are: make no-scope accuracy like -500% so when you get no-scope it’s really rare and satisfying and make it so when you aim your sniper rifle it has like 1.5-2 second time window before your accuracy becomes 100% when you aim so quickscoping becomes useless because your accuracy is nonexistent before those 2 secs (unless you get lucky, quickscope should be a lucky shot that you don’t get often)
so you want snipers to be entirely useless unless camping? because the ttk is (functionally) instant atm. a .5 delay for 100% is the highest it should go if they implement that. anything more and snipers become useless unless camping.

1 thing we do need is the ability for pc players to turn cross play off at least on the mp side. i had more fun on older cods when it was just pc. no cross play. im sure console players are the same way. i was when i played mw2019 on xbox. i turned off cross play. but i cant do that on pc. should be able to.

All are very valid things to keep away from in the next COD! The biggest gripe I have about COD right now overall, is the inclusion of so many "Pop Culture" skins, models, etc. into the game. I understand the normie appeal of the COD series but why go through all the effort to make a realistic modern day FPS when you're just going to have it turn into a completely different vibe with outlandish weapon effects, and player models that belong in another franchise? If you want to make a more fantasy, normie based COD series that's totally cool! Kill death ratio should only be a team Deathmatch statistic. Objective game modes should be score per minute as the only metric.

All are very valid things to keep away from in the next COD! The biggest gripe I have about COD right now overall, is the inclusion of so many "Pop Culture" skins, models, etc. into the game. I understand the normie appeal of the COD series but why go through all the effort to make a realistic modern day FPS when you're just going to have it turn into a completely different vibe with outlandish weapon effects, and player models that belong in another franchise? If you want to make a more fantasy, normie based COD series that's totally cool! Just let the modern military shooter crowd have their game despite all the desire to include every demographic into a games player pool.

Heavily disagree with the movement take. i think it’s cod at its peak in terms of movement tech. Better than boots-on-ground era movement, better than exo movement. Cod is an arcade shooter not a tactical shooter.
