A time traveling, sword swinging, special attacking trip though time to defeat the demon king.
But was this Amiga exclusive any good? Lets find out!

Don't Fall! That had some clever ideas, with the floaters and the buttons and that, and some lovely backdrops too. Thanks Mr G!
Its a really fun game, if a bit odd at times 😁
Great review Mr Fish, as usual!. If memory serves me right, this one got delayed during development which might explain its hodgepodge nature. Suprisingly, even Amiga Action liked it with a 87% score.
I did not know it was released on the Megadrive. I will look for it on my SD Cart.
you could be right, I remember there being some articles and previews for the game.
and then it taking a while to finally get released.
The MD version is quite unique, they do a lot of fancy tricks and effects later on in the game.
Awesome review! I remember clocking this back in the day due to this video! Cheers!
It was all over the magazine at one point, so there was lots of changes to see it.
but seemed to quickly vanish after release not sure why
Jetpac wearing samurai are what's missing from modern games, I feel.
It was missing from far too many games!
What a banger of a game! Although I think the ability to put out fires is always useful? 😄
Sadly doesn’t seem to be well remembered which is a shame because it should be, even the A500 version looks great, sounds great & plays great! In my opinion anyway.
Yeah, I've never really understood why this isn't a more well remembered game.
It looks and sounds great, and its a lot of fun to play.
and just the right amount of weird to make it rememberable, this should be one of those ones that everyone got.
I played this on the Mega Drive. I'd no idea the game was totally different on Amiga!
Its a bit of a surprise how different the games are, not sure how or why that happened.
but I think you are the first person I know that played the MD version.
Haha... nice... I have recently buyed this one and not played it yet :D
I hope you get around to giving it a go, as its a lot of fun.
I preferred the art style of the First Samurai. This looked a little too cartoony for my tastes.
