Basically Zack died at the end of the PSP ff7 prequel game called Crisis Core and thats why Cloud has his BFS, by killing the whispers/AOF a new timeline was created where Zack survived and there are now 2 simultaneously occurring plotlines in the the upcoming sequel, Biggs survival was confirmed to have occurred in the new timeline. The biggest plot point is that this game isnt actually a remake but actually a sequel to the original ff7 tetrology as this Sephiroth is actually from the OG ff7 movie Advent children after he jumped timelines after getting bodied by Emo cloud for the 4th and final time in his life and wants to change his destiny which is why the whispers exist since they're trying to maintain the OG continuity.
@@gamerdude7576 too many but my confusion makes the jokes funnier. 🤣 I'll stay blissfully ignorant for now. Speaking of, got the DLC vid coming in the next week or two.
Another good review of the Story, and while I haven't finished this, it's something I know I'll be getting to in the future when I've upgraded my rig. *While it did okay at current, I feel like I'd be more comfortable with a higher end computer* Plus, I think at a point I also stalled out so I'd just need to get the momentum to pick it up. That said: The Whispers are very much their reason that the original exact FF7 timeline does not need to be stuck with, and instead new ideas can be explored even if a lot is very similar. Thank you for the review!
@@LaMuerteBlanca It could just well be the game , I admit but still. God it makes me feel old that the original FF7 I played was indeed on the PS1, and even more fun had RENTED it my first time playing.
@@LaMuerteBlanca In weird counterpoint though there were a number of games I'd played Co-op with a friend on the regular that were better as rentals cause we managed to finish or come close enough to finishing as to feel satisfied in a single playthrough, so I feel like rentals had their place. I do agree for games like FF7 , you were more likely gonna get your money's worth on buying.
@@LaMuerteBlanca I played the psp ff7 then the remake, should I play the original trilogy then rebirth to understand the whole story or should I play rebirth right now?
@@yassinamr9464 if you play the originals, naturally, you'll have more context for whats going on in the remakes, but i think you can get away with just running through the remakes if you dont have time to play through all those games.

can you explain the second paragraph for me in an easier way?
I will always regret the day I purchased this game.
And I rarely regret game purchases.
Understanding the whole ff7 compilation is like having a degree in history

Glad you enjoyed it. I see what you're saying with a higher rig. My setup is probably above average and i even got the occasional frame drop.

@@Warrickomega fair 🤔
I never understood why people love FF7 so much. It always seemed so ridiculous. Thank you for proving me right.
What game isnt these days, but i have to agree. FF is always way over the top.
Do crisis core next 🙏☺️
Got the intermission dlc with yuffie next. Might do crisis core if you all end up really liking these two.

@@yassinamr9464 there's a ton of rumors swirling around but not sure if there's a definitive date for pc release yet.
