Nice you sure did get some great vinyl there !!! I sure do like the pressings from the UK a lot better then the US ones .... Even though I live in the US lol !!! To me the sound of the UK pressings are a lot better sound and for me I sure do like cars from the UK as well :). I sure would would have like to have see that to . O well :). I prefer the UK pressing most of the time especially with beatles and rolling stones albums , although I am planning to get all the original US rlease hopefully as I only have 2 US presses in my collection collection far Magical mystery tour on the apple label and a USA white album 1st press with the title misprints
It sure dose sound like you are off to a good start on US Beatles :). And yes I do like the Stones as well . Do you have any of Madness vinyl lol . I do collect them to . And have show them on my channel too . Great video and cheers Jamie !!!
I was glad to find it and as I mentioned in the video it was one I had been after for a while , the disc needs a clean but as you saw in the video it did come with poster and inner sleeve so worth what I paid no matter what ! P.s have you gotten your abbey road yet ? When you do would you do a video maybe showing it ?
@@arkazeus sorry to hear hear it wasn't what you were expecting , but like you say at least it plays without skipping and it can be a filler copy until you find a nice clean one
@@jamiespinks3179 @Jamie Spinks I did get it. The condition was worse than I was hoping for. Nasty split on the spine and the vinyl only so-so. However, it does play through without skipping and it must have been just a shadow on the back cover in the ebay listing because there's no black mark on there. I'll keep an eye out for an upgrade but it was still a pretty good price and worth the risk. And like I said, it does still play without any skips.

Subscribed, i just really like what other people find. My finds of the day are: Nash the Slash - Childeren of the night, Paul Mccartney - II (with coming up), Gary Numan - The Pleasure principle and Prince - Purple Rain. Is it there also everytime harder to find good music for a cheap price at second hand shops? Because here in The Netherlands it's getting harder and harder to find some..

Hi Jamie, I've recently got into the eagles even though I associate them as music for squares lol. Do you get up early for car boots? I just cannot. Charity shops yes. Facebook marketplace no. Always weird sellers who don't know what they are doing. Take care, Martin.
I technically do as most of the time I'm at them my family has a stall so we are there for the sellers time then I usually walk round when buyers are allowed in so I tend to be fairly early I would say. Charity shops near me open from 9-10 so I'm there very shortly after 👍
@@Thevinylscavenger that is very true , on another of my charity shop videos i had a really good haul but someone said they were in there the day before me and found an original exile on main street , DSOTM, Wish you were here for £1 !
@@Thevinylscavenger it really depends on the shop beacuse if it's a chain shop e.g BHF or oxfam they generally have a person that comes in and prices them but the smaller ones tend to just put them out in a box , I found a classical one for £1 and sold it for £30 so sometimes even the classical is worth looking through!
i need to do videos of me finding vinyl records in charity shops in the last 3 weeks, but it takes a long time to load the video, great finds i never been to car boot sale
Yeah sometimes there is alot to get through so the video files can get big but it's worth sharing what you find. I reccomend you do as although it can be difficult to find stuff sometimes every once in a while you stumble across some gems

I collect vinyls, may try carboots they do look good.
My best advice is to go to loads and don't worry if you don't find anything as some weeks you can find great stuff!

Good stuff, Jamie. Hotel California is an amazing album and one that sounds particularly great on vinyl.
