Great album War of the worlds, I bought it in the 1970s

Nice. Records are a minefield but buying is always a learning curve. As mentioned 1st press white should be numbered and top opening. Some of the beatles reissues on emi are valuable if they have emi boxed once on each label. 2 boxed emi are much cheaper later reissues.
Thanks for the info Matt. I had a feeling that I would not make a great profit on the White Album, but knew I would learn from it. Also it has been really good to be able to listen to them.

Hi Phil, it's not a copy but it is a re-issue from the late 70's / early 80's. Should be able to break even on it. So not going to lose anything, but I have learned loads.

Looking at the records the quality was not the best.
Hi @timlodge8267. yeah some of them were not great. Most of them cleaned up ok and have sold. For me these were a bit of a learning curve.
Don’t laugh I am still using my iPad Air 2.

This seller plays dumb, but knows the score. I'm sure he's been selling records for ages. I'd have taken your £95 all day long... Come buy my Now comps and ABBA lps. 😁 No offence, but records need years of experience, you missed some gems flicking through.
Hi Chris, I am not an expert on Vinyl I am very much still learning. This pick up was very much a learning experience.

Beatles white is a re issue from 1970s..not original
Hi Phil, yeah bit gutted about that. I will be able to sell it for about £40, but nowhere near the £90 that the seller said. It was a lesson on doing my research.
