When it comes to checking prices in front of a seller, my theory is if they're selling it for £5 it doesn't matter what I'm going to do with it or whether I'm going to resell it. They're getting their £5

- ebay listed vs sold is very different - carboot buyers are resellers or people who want a bargain - ebays market is global, carboots is local - ebay has protections for buyers and sellers, carboots dont - you can return faulty/ unwanted goods from ebay, you cant at a carboot I have no problem with sellers knowing what their items are worth, but you also need to know your market

Good video shame with that Lego, most people don't even bring £175 to a boot sale and if they do they don't want to spend it on 1 item. I've had it where people don't want to sell me the lot of things the other week there was a box of lego I would probably pay about £10 but the lady asked which bricks I wanted and I told here how much for all of it and she said I want to sell it seperately 🤣🤣🤣🤣

postage is always contentious, and down to the individual seller. i send all large letter/ small parcel items upto 1kg by evri.. any higher value items upto 1kg i send tracked 48.. and then all small parcels upto 2kg i sent tracked 48.

used to go there a few years back... god its a rough hole that place. also was that old bird on spice 🤣🤣

Good timing on this video. I had very similar feedback on a gsp: item not packaged securely and postage was expensive. Both nothing to do with me. Had left it but might try and get it removed now.
