One thing that really blew me away is the sheer volume of space we get onboard compared to an equivalent length motoryacht. Amazing stuff and tour, Nick! Loved every moment of it.
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
What are you talking about 😂
Maybe if you compare it to an offshore racer, yes.
@@watchhunter forreal. A 40’ galeon fly has more space than this yacht offers at nearly 2.5 times the price.
Im sitting on a 60 marquis right now, what are you talking about?!
Thanks Nick, can we have more sailing yachts please? It's, as usual, a great and informative tour. I also wanted to thank you for reassuring me that my decision to buy a Moody 54 DS which offers more space below decks and a sensible amount above for a similar price, is the right one.
Ooh fantastic! Lovely boat, well done. Got more sailboat content coming. 🙂
💖💖💖 Very Beautiful!! Look Amazing!! 💖💖💖
That was pretty amazing...
Too bad my sailing prowess doesn't extend beyond the paper-umbrella in my drink.
For a 60 ft yacht when stepping inside its like Doctor who's Tardis, excellent family sailing and equipped for minimum physical effort. One of the best you have shown for the price.
You must be kidding me, 850 k for a new, 60 feet sailing yacht like this beauty????? WOW!!!🤩
Gorgeous. Quite a Star Trek saloon! Lovely tour as always, Nick. I'm terrible with windy boats rather than zoomy boats, but I do love the tours and you definitely seem to get more for your money.
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
A hidden crew cabin and twin washing line above, Cool. Nice looking boat. Shame about the tender garage creeping into the sleeping areas , I could see that being a bit awkward..
I suspect a bit more than awkward Colin if there were two people using it. The one area that lets the boat down and I suspect a lot of users would rather see the Williams on rear davits and given a lot more space to the cabins. Yes, I do agree when space is limited everything is a compromise on a boat and irrespective of size really.
Thanks Nick! I always love when you add a sailboat and I could easily see myself anchored in French Polynesia or amongst the Rock Islands of Palau in this boat. 🐟🌴🌞
Sounds great! 😎
Dream big! @Lost, I can not fault your dreams.
@@JulieWallis1963 It’s more of a “I want to go back” dream! But that’s a long story! 😂
Is it just me who thinks that's remarkable value?
Loved this one. Ticks all the lottery winnings boxes!
Love the beam, but that tender garage is a real noggin buster over the guest beds! Hopefully it can be had without a tender garage as well, and just have a lazzarette and a couple of davits for the tender. Thanks for the tour!
I get you've shown us those doors n I get they're magnetic but it still blows my mind.
There's no sticking out bits. WTF?
I know!! And yet when they are shut, there is! Remarkable.
How come you not doing sunsekers anymore nick
This miiiight be my fav yacht on the channel
Hi Nick, great clean fresh looking interior. Sadly I don't understand sailing 🥴 so it wouldn't be my choice, just for that reason only. Unusual to see a garage for the tender as apposed to davits too. Cheers DougT
Nice sailboat shame about the bedrooms to small
What a yacht for the money, serious amount of space well proportioned.
Even comes with a little space for the teenager upfront.
Cheers Nick and Marrianne great tour as usual.
10/10
Why cut out that bit of the front bed? They could've just left that corner in, now it's just unnecessarily uncomfortable sleeping with 2 people in that bed.
The space is not used perfectly, I wouldn't recommend this boat. Many issues that I can spot from first glance.
👍, that's the type of boat that makes me think sailing could be a good way to travel.
It's not cheap, but I feel like this is great value for money.
I see this yacht has a comfy little mansion under that front hatch for the daughter's boyfriend!
I like your thinking..! 🙂
I imagine that this might be more appealing for higher-end chartering than owner use. Anyone who could comfortably afford to buy, maintain and operate this yacht could probably afford something a lot more expensive and would be unlikely to buy a production boat. Doesn’t mean it’s not nice - of course it is.
My dream yacht to sail the world in
Beautiful yacht, very cool, but I certainly wouldn’t torture a crew member to that horrible brig, in the bow! Can you imagine trying to enter or escape that hole, in rough weather. I’ve seen other designs, mostly Catamarans with awful crew quarters in the bows. Also making crew members enter quarters from swim platforms is just dangerous, especially in following seas. Happy crew, happy cruise!
holy cow when he went down below that boat looked soo much bigger than i thought haha
Wow, for such a nice yacht that's borderline affordable
Crew cabin in front of the owners...I wouldn't want it as an owner. Privacy thing. All that wood on top of your deck.... imagine the work maintaining it after a few years. Interior is beautiful...still the Amel 50 is the one to beat!
It's no Gulf Craft Majesty 175 but for somebody that normally rather have a boat with bigger engines and no like tree like appendage sticking out of the centre of the decks a boat like this could make me want to learn how to sail and be happy to own this one 👌🖖
"Depending on how drunk you are." ~ Literally...laughed out loud! Your continuous mode of filming, with your "I'll edit that out, " left in ... brilliant, as you might say! Not just informative. Always entertaining! Keep up the good work Nick. Looking forward to receiving my Aquaholic T-Shirts!
AWESOME!! Enjoy 😃
Eliminate a bath for a washer dryer, put the dinghy on a davit out back and provide some more room for motor/engineering.
What a beautiful boat and so much space, from outside doesn't look as large as it turns out to be. Love the crew cabin, mind you under sail in reasonable weather it could be interesting getting into 😂. Thanks Nick yet another very professional tour 👍
Thanks for watching!
And that’s why I converted from motor boating to a sailing boat…..lots of room, even in a 40ft boat, and costs nothing to run….it’s not always about how quickly you get there, it’s about the journey! Thanks Nick, love to see more of these sailing boats and perhaps even some actual sailing?
Yes but you are using a finite resource. Solar powered is good and motor you can get from bio diesel. Wind on the other hand is finite and will eventually run out so all these wind farms and sail boats thinking its free.. enjoy it while it lasts i guess.
@@adamwilliams5426 Pass the blunt bro, you had enough...🤣🤣🤣
@@adamwilliams5426 solar run out in night, wind is more present than the solar ur talking about, and sailing boats have engines dummy
@@MonicaHolly143 Wow you really don't get it do you? engines run on fossil fuel and will run out but with bio its ok but wind will run out when all the wind farms and boats absorb all its energy then there will be no wind left.
Do you even get anywhere faster on a motor yacht? I mean, in reality. All going serious cruising on a motor yacht, even Nautistyles on their coming massive Bering 75 explorer yacht, talks about dialing back on speed to 7-8 knots, so they can hit those relatively economical long range figures. That a sail boat, especially on a long distance average, quite easily can match, maybe even easily outdo. Even several production catamarans has for instance frequently clocked 200 miles a days on Atlantic crossings on sailing alone, and that is not even taking performance oriented sail boats into account.
Genuine question - how does autopilot work on a sailing boat?
Nice cabin for the daughters boyfriend.
YES!! 😄
So Nick, when are we going to see you and Marianne at the helm of a sailing yacht?
We would love to have a go!
Oceanis or Amel ? What would the experienced sailor prefer (on passage and off) do you think?
Between this and a Discovery Oyster, which would you buy and why?
Think personal 3 onsuites for 6 people is way too much maybe one with shower and one toilet is enough. Waste of space
I always dreamed of owning a motor yacht but if I was to buy a yacht I think I'd prefer to have a sailing yacht, they just look stunning. But a dream is all it is.
Love it. I like everything about this vessel. Thank you, sir. Although, I'm thinking of a C&C Redline 41 as an idea.
This is beautiful ❤
Blow me down! A crew cabin!!! Great tour Nick!
Fantastic!
Beautiful yatch😊I did not like the crew area. It is horrible🫣Thanks
I do like the Beneteaus. They a such a lovely boat.
I honestly thought you had switched to a computer render when you went below. That was an amazing interior
Lovely Yacht, really like the interior, very spacious and well equipped. Thank you for the tour Nick.
My pleasure!
3 cabins, each one with its ensuite: this is a great choice!
And the "crew cabin" is not, you have to respect the crew, it could be a cabin for a teen for a week-end, adventurous!
Jesus please .I need 10 yr on it an I'll.give it away
Why always Yanmar engines on sailing boats instead of Volvo penta’s which seem to be on almost every motorboat?
All the new sailboats have the owner cabin forward , i dont like it.
Verdaderamente fantástico nick👏👏👏👍🏽👍🏽🤜🤛🇨🇴🇨🇴
When you are out mid atlantic in a force 8 gusting 9 you could expect the neatly stacked books to topple.
i really have second thoughts about weather to buy a yacht in that price range or this sailing boat.....but what if you run out of fuel on yacht? lol...sailing boat is better right?
Wow, love it. Well done Beneteau. Great Tour Nick. Too big for me as I’m shrinking and won’t grow into it😂 Love the sensible Galley, etc, time to take a close look at the Oceanis Models I think, after having been put off due to twin rudder setups (I will never buy a Sailboat with Twin Rudders. Finger’s tossed they do something with a single rudder and direct drive (Yanmar engines are great, but I don’t like their Saildrives below 80hp, when you can opt for a ZF one, which are quite acceptable-yeah I know, I’m fussy. Maybe a Jeanneau as reverting for direct drive a lot, but again there’s the silly twin rudders. Too many Crab and Lobster Pots for Twin Rudders, and bad news for low speed manouverability in tight spaces, plus loss of important weatherhelm feedback for de powering the Sails. I hope this Fashion Fad gets abandoned really soon tbh.Best Wishes and Fair Winds. Bob.👍⛵️🌟🌟🌟
That is an awesome yacht, great use of space.
That lounge/kitchen area is incredible - so much space for quite a smallish boat.
Gorgeous sail yacht. Seems there's a mystery reader with books with spines in traverse.
3 ensuit cabins with 1 annex cabin very good boat for the money.
For Uk customers, If you want to view one or purchase one for the Uk or Med please DM me
I thought the master-bed tapers too much to the end that it would not be enough for a tall couple. I'd rather loose the walkround design and have a proper bed.
Really like seeing these different manufacturers options. No offense to Sunseeker but its seems like you have seen one you have seen them all lol.
Why the helm is exposed at the back? Amel sailboats have enclosed helm at center which seems more comfortable and sheltered
Didn't warships put the cells in the bow as its the most uncomfortable place to be?
Hi Nick, And a hugh thanks to you for bringing this beautiful Beneteau Yacht 60 and the way Maggie there is enjoing on the sun louncher your next boat is not a motor yacht but a sail boat 😉I think But what a space there is onboard of this yacht with 3 cabines almost all ensuite the master in the bow very nice and what a space the teak deck with the fluss windows very nice and even a tender garage super Thanks again Nick what a start off this new week ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ no one more🌟
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Gorgeous interior. I could happily spend my days on board, sailing the pacific islands. Fabulous tour. And hard to believe there are 4 heads on board.
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
I never understood sailing, it seems like a difficult way of toiling away not enjoying the sea, but that interior is sure nice!
Hey Nick another beauty from Beneteau and I love the saloons in these the only way you get one as big in a yacht is going to cost 7 million plus, have a great day my friend 👍
Thank you, you too! 🙂
Why do sail boats have chart areas when they also have the multi function screens?
I'm not so interested in sails myself but, as others have mentioned, the interiors are often fabulous!!!
Good job on getting the Wave in, Nick!
Nice sailing boat but I was expecting a bit more “premium” master cabin
That’s a massive amount of boat for the money - impressed!
Lovely yacht nick 🚤🛥⛵️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍👍👍👍👍👍⭐️
Thanks! 🙂
More sailing yachts lets go!
Sail boats are my favorites. Add some solar power and the carbon footprint goes even lower. Leisure cruising with a clear conscience and a greener earth.
As ever, Nice Nick.
Very strange use of space in some areas. I feel like it could be even better than it is.
That crew quarter is cruel and unusual torture. Who would stay in there?
Using a GoPro makes these boats look so much bigger.
Reminds me modern Swan boats.
NICE ONE ...........Bless............Great Vlog
What a brilliant design and use of space! Thanks for the tour, this one was slightly faster paced but I liked the style.
You're very welcome!
Where does the exhaust from the engine get released?
Nice but not as nice as the old Oceanis 61
I love this one, I'm not a huge sail fan but this one is certainly one that I could live with.
Love to cast off and just go over the horizon in that.
They really need a solar and electric option. The buillds I’ve seen use motors that operate the prop shaft with the crank on deisel OR the alternators that can give or receive energy. The idea is efficiency, renewable and redundant safety.
quieter, cleaner and maybe more convenient.
Can't beat a really good review of a sailing yacht in the morning. Especially as that is a really well thought out design from Beneteau, which is a surprise for me. Like the well protected aft cockpit and the interior is so well laid out with 3 proper heads. Looks like a yacht you'd actually enjoy using.
The host never saw a door he didn't want to open.
That protrusion over one side of the guest beds is really unfortunate, makes it very awkward for a couple.
Clever layout. Clean, efficient spaces. I would install a M A N 1000 engine if it were mine. Wait - sail boat? Run using the wind? Bit old fashion, but could be tolerable. Who drives the boat? A group effort? Sorry, my idea of fun does not involve avoiding falling overboard as fun. Thanks for the tour, Nick - anyways
Great boat for the price…like the beam
Love it! Many thanks for brighten my day, now I know what to spend my money on, when I have any. Cheers.
Glad to help
I watch many boating and Yacht channels Aquaholic is the best...no rambling, gets straight in to walk through..no like and subscribe/ promotion hooptidoodle, concise, pleasure to watch. As Mr.Burnham would say...Brilliant!!
You're very kind 🙂
Came for the description of heeling and two helms. Was not disappointed...
👍🏻
Beneteau has become a fast favorite for the aesthetic sailor.
Glamorously kills my dinghy in the marina or out at sea. Smooth sailing?... I'll be in the bedroom hiding champagne 🥂 flutes! 😉
oh ps you have a very particular style
Love it, if only I could sail!
It is a beautiful boat, but the design is a bit hit and miss, in my book. Some of the things are great for the wow effect on prospect buyers, but maybe less functional than old designs, as for instance that island berth in the bow. Well, if people get caught on a rolling anchor spot or ever caught in rough weather sailing long distance, they would realize, what I mean: They are going to fall out of that berth, maybe even entirely have to abandon it and move aft to sleep! Sleeping up against a wall in monohul is preferable, especially if you intend to use this boat often or even live onboard it. The garage has also become a very popular design feature in many monohuls, but it is a waste of real estate, in my opinion. It actually means, that you pay premium for a 60 foot boat, but only about the 55 feet are real living accommodation. What is wrong with having the tender hanging on a david on the back? Those double helm positions at the aft of the cockpit, brilliant for people interested in racing or people, who ever only sail in good weather. Horrible, if you ever get caught out in bad weather, and you will, if you live onboard a boat or go long distance cruising. The last thing I will mention is, Beneteau makes hugely beautiful boats, they really do, but they are known as production boats. Not exactly cruising high quality boats, as for instance Amel builds. Still, this boat cost the same as many 50 foot catamarans! It has the exact same base price as a Windelo 50, and that one comes with a full hybrid electric drive system, lots of solar, hydrogeneration and what have you. I simply could not chose this over a more spacious and also better designed catamaran, on top with more in the package for the same money.
