It is amazing to see that boat companies still don’t give Nick privacy to film his stuff. Nick is number one in RUclips and he should be respected by all boat builders.
My guess is that he won't be the only one trying to do that, and at a busy show. Sometimes he does and sometimes media get let in before the show starts.
I agree 100% with all your points in this video. Having larger more open social areas at the cost of extra guest cabins, is something i think alot of people are looking for. With crew cabins and sofas you can easily sleep 10 people if you really wanted to. If you are only sailing 2-4 people 99% of the time, you absolutely dont need 4 cabins and 5 heads, thats just a waste of space. Love the interior and the liveaboard feel it has. Brilliant that you can choose your own layout, 2, 3 or 4 cabins. Great video!
What an excellent layout! I completely understand why you are so taken with the galley down layout on this one, it frees up so much space up top, while giving an excellent place to entertain and spend time in the evening fully protected from the elements!
I must say, what an outstanding layout. It reminds me of Perini Navi and Alloy sailing yachts that have both the upper and lower salon areas. Doing this to a 75' - 80' yacht really enhances the living area. Thank you Nick for the wonderful tour and no worries about showing the lower salon several times, it's what makes this yacht a winner.
You already know how my overly critical mind thinks. With thousands of years of naval experience, humans should DEFINITELY be using ALL possibilities for ship building, and this is a perfect example of that. Thank you Nick, you FINALLY got a compliment out of me hehe😊
Boat 7.5/10 Nick 10/10 The 2 bedroom layout works well for a small family that wants a live on board boat, the downstair kitchen and living room is going to get a tone of use. The 4 bedroom layout is better for everything else! Who wants to spend time -sleeping aside- downstairs on a lovely summer night? Even when at home you spend it on a balcony or a yard.
I must say in all my years of being an Aquaholic this is the first time Nick has revisited a part of the boat twice! Just to soak it in again! Totally worth it, fabulous layout and boat! Thank you sir! :)
Twice? He lingered in the galley/living room 4 times! Heaven help us, if Nick ever owns a boat like this, he'll have us for dinner, but we won't be staying the night. Say... that IS brilliant!
Since I started watching this channel, I've thought I'd love to see a boat with some living space below deck instead of cramming 4 or 5 cabins down there.
Exciting layout. I’ve been looking for something like this. So many large boats waste lots of useful space on cabins that don’t ever get slept in. Just because you can fit 12 people on a yacht doesn’t mean they are all going to be sleeping on it. Beautiful fixtures as well. Suprised you didn’t suggest that the owners daughter sleeps in the VIP and her boyfriend in the overflow. To nitpick: you’ve got to stop calling surround speakers stereo speakers. They mean two different things
What a great idea. I've often looked at the four cabin layout and thought how cramped it looks (in a boat of this size); great if it's a charter and the guests are spending more time in the water than in their cabins but this is so much nicer for the majority of owner operators. Love it!
30+ years ago, I had a converted ex-naval 70 foot patrol boat. Wheelhouse and main deck cabin and everything else below. 2 large comfortable en suite cabins, one for'ard and owner's aft, with lounge/galley accommodation amidships. Very old school of course, but made for a very comfortable boat. This Pardo seems to have brought back the concept of a traditional gentleman's motor yacht and improved it very nicely indeed. It's no wonder to me that you were so enthralled. I certainly was. An excellent yacht, beautifully presented and a superb tour. Well discovered Nick.
Nick you’re the best yacht channel RUclips. No offence to the others, but I love how easy you are to the ears. So comforting and unforced. I watch the others but I don’t subscribe to them cos I need to be in a certain kind mind to listen to a certain kind of talking (I’m always in the mood to listen to old Nick), hence why I assume you have the highest subs.
Very low bulwarks for style, that's why you get the carbonfibre stub stanchions to make it a bit more safe. I would take them off haha There's no real inside dinette, the table in the main saloon lounge is a dining table but the settee is well back and unsuitable for dining. The helm seats look like you can reverse the backrests and have them face towards the stern but there's a cabinet right behind where your legs would go. All boats this size should offer a two cabin option. Just make the cabin windows bigger.
Have to completely agree with you Nick what an amazing layout. Especially for a single male or female. But mate as a single male awesome live aboard. I'd be completely satisfied, cheers mate for bringing this to us. From 🇦🇺
Such a treat to see such a novel layout. You are quite correct that even as viewers we predict the lower layout before you even descend the stairs. Not this time. My only modification I would request if buying this one, is that I would put a proper foldable up/down table in the lower lounge so you could eat your meals there in handy position to the galley. I always find myself looking at the practicality of having to lug crockery and dishes of food up and down the stairs for every meal, and it would be a pain in the neck after a while. Great little crew cabin. Impressed by the separate shower in such a tight space. You would definitely want to hire skinny crew members for the access and the narrow beds. My gardener is a terrific former South African gentleman, who worked on super yachts. Fun to chat with him about it, the life, the tiny beds, the long hours etc. He definitely agreed that the narrow bunks are a challenge to sleep on. Great tour Nick. Loved your enthusiasm.
Finally something different and its very nice! I would definitely add a height adjustable table across from the galley to eat at so you don't have to go up to eat all the time. Awesome yacht!
I really like it when you can find someone who does something different with the layout. I agree that the galley living area down is a very interesting idea.
The galley down makes so much sense too if you’re hosting up top hide all the dishes and work downstairs keep the upper decks free for socialising and if you have one or two kids just turn those huge couches into beds why not. Love the warm light and airy vibe of this one. Great tour
This is such an awesome layout. On a normal layout one of the middle cabins would be bunks without any space to be in that cabin except of sleeping. And on that boat you have the space to live on.
Love it when boat builders tear up the 'convention book' and try something really different. Doesn't always work, but in this case I'm with you Nick, I think it's absolutely brilliant! If you are a couple without young kids, and you want the ultimate space for you and a couple of friends this would be perfect, and gives you the best of everything. Thanks for another great tour, even if you did have to duck around folks who might even be considering buying one!
Love it, kitchen seating and eating area downstairs. Two double cabins which are great. The large entertainment area of the saloon is absolutely great. It's a great idea for two people and two guest couples. Spacious comfortable. I think Prado will do well with this boat..
I actually really love that. It’s a beautiful lay out. Love the galley and lounge downstairs out of sight. And two spacious cabins. Gorgoeus boat. Well done Pardo for forward thinking. 🤙🏽🤙🏽
Oh my God! That was absolutely brilliant! Actually the lounge area at the lower deck is absolutely the best area of the yacht.... Standing ovation to Prado yachts! ❤
I have to say I am a little disappointed that you didn't show more of the lower deck galley and lounge area😂. Got to agree, a great idea. The mirror wave was an 8/10 on this one. I was pleased you showed us the clip in fender system at the risk of dropping it into the water. 😂 thanks so again Nick. Much nicer than the LCM8's that I worked on.😂
That is a spectacular boat, the layout is nothing short of superb. I was drooling before you got to the cabins and galley and then like you I kept going back for one more look.
Beautiful yacht with a great layout, I have often thought on other boat tours why they have to cram as many cabins in as possible, this looks great with just two and leaves so much room for everything else. Definitely like the down stairs galley and lounge area I would have it. Great tour Nick thank you.
Finally. A design with less bedrooms, that makes so much more sense than 4 cramped rooms with 4 bathrooms in a boat probably only use for a family of 4. THIS is what i would choose. Thanks Nick!
Of course we knew where you would finish the excellent video! Totally agree with your comments about the usefulness of this fab space and the logic of not lugging empty cabins about. How long before other manufacturers spot this brilliant concept and offer it, I wonder.......
That layout makes it look like a normal house, and I agree with you that it's brilliant. Once you see it, you ask yourself why don't more boats have that layout. If you need space for more people on a weekend, a couple of cushions and inflatable mattresses will solve that problem easily. Now, should I sell my house and spend my kids inheritance... Love you reviews, as always, Nick.
The layout is really nice, I totally agree the lower level galley and lounge area is a great gathering spot. Got to love those three engines that provide a lot of power Thanks for the tour Nick
It's a brilliant galley, with the option for social cooking 😀 Oh boy, you could throw a big party on this flying mashine 😁Thanks for a very enthusiastic tour😊
Absolutely love the 2 cabin layout. The galley and lower saloon is cosy and reminds my slightly of the old Princess 414 which had a downstairs diner next to the galley, always loved that design.
One of those videos where immediately afterwards I start praying that my numbers come up on the Lotto rollover. Great design, especially what they have done with the lower deck.
My favorite feature is the transformer built into the bathing platform. You rarely see this feature on any boats but when its deployed provides the ultimate connection to getting in/out of the water. Princess X95 uses one as well.
I think this is one of my favorite designs. For me, the much more comfortable lower lounge/galley makes more sense. Something so often overlooked, there is lots of sleeping for kids, grandkids for many of us. We don't hesitate to bed them down on couches at home, why would this be any different. Older kids/young adults would probably be happy on the big sun beds. The 3rd full (day) head really would support this. Ideal for weekends, long trips with just your favorite couple.
Unreal the amount of thought these builders are putting into every new model. The deal with that is when Nick tells us that we will be surprised by what he shows us, I find myself tell the screen, "yeah, sure Nick, you say that on nearly every other boat". But, Nick never fails to impress me with his continued success in that proclamation. He has yet to be wrong from my estimation. This is why he is the number one yacht youtube content creator.
Never seen you so excited, Nick😊 really interesting layout. I’d be tempted to have a small bunk room where the laundry is for the kids, and have the front crew cabin for toy storage.
Wonderful video and thanks for braving the crowds so we can see this new boat. I agree with you this layout rocks. Give me more usable space that I use other than empty cabins.
Putting the fender latch back on one handed was 007 smooth. Just the right amount of drama but success in the end. The layout of this vessel might just revolutionize the industry. Very cool.
I would spilt the master into 2 cabins if I needed 3 cabins, but then again, I'll never have that problem. I'll probably never own one, but it great to watch your videos and dream. Great job.
Well i was not expecting that but it’s just absolutely beautiful it reminds me of the sailing yachts where you go down and you have your lounge and kitchen, i think it’s just fantastic but it also gives you so much more room. Love it just love it , though i did get the whereabouts of the dishwasher wrong Cheers Nick loved it 👍👍👍
Why hasn't this been done before? It's like anything: Someone has to be first at some point. It's like an interior designer saw the light and thought what you thought, Nick; "Why always draw up many cabins when you can do so much with the space?" And so yachts continue to evolve and become less and less standard. Beautiful to see! You'll only have that £5,000,000 to spend? I wouldn't know which yacht I would choose. 😉
What a handsome boat. The luxury of space rather than the luxury of taking as many people as possible with you. I know which I’d rather, if I was ever fortunate enough to be in a position to choose. Pocket/folding doors and a convertible sofa with access to the day heads would seem a logical tweak to give even more flexibility below deck.
Now *that* is nice! A 2-bedroom penthouse apartment with rooftop courtyards - all on the water. Proper laundry, great kitchen with a big domestic fridge. Way expensive to operate those engines. But I guess that cost isn't a concern for someone who can afford this. Let's see this sort of configuration in an affordable boat!
Great dayglo socks, Nick! Most sailing yachts (and especially Oyster yachts) have a similar cosy layout down below which makes so much sense - especially in cold or foul weather - whereas the open cockpit is for working the boat and relaxing in the sunshine!
Now that is a layout. Looks and feels so much bigger than a 75 feet yacht. The galley downstairs is incredible. I would certain choose that way. I understand why your taken with it as it is just brilliant. I can certainly other yachts having this feature now at some point. If I won the EuroMillions tonight, I will buy us one each Nick. As always thank you for taking us on a tour of her
It's good to see something different, not to all tastes but a very good option. Conversely, at one point, I was left feeling "not another sun pad". I'm not a sun worshipper, so more deck space options wouldn't go amiss. Thanks Nick, a thought provoking tour.
Love this layout. Especially as I have few friends. But then I imagine if I had the money, to buy this boat, they may come out of the wardrobe. Fab tour, thank you Nick ! X
Wow !! Agree with the you on open plan galley/ lounge, perfect for an evening entertaining friends. Well presented by yourself as always, you handled the numerous distractions that you had to navigate around extremely well. Another one to dream of owning, thank you !
That concept of a lounge + kitchen space is already very common on cats (particularly power cats) but it's usually found on the main deck. This one somehow is a very nice "porting over" of that idea because it also mimics how the individual cabins are directly connected with it. It's a great place to be both in the early mornings and also in the late evenings. I'm also of the impression that this is an option on some 50 and 60-footers, though.
Agree complelty about using what would normally be cabin space for living space . Makes the boat a far more interesting and far more attractive for long stays !! beautifully done !
Very nice boat, and the lower deck lounge is perfect for a couple… better tell people to bring their own, cause you became the hang out spot regardless of weather.
Very nice ! A true "dream boat" ! On the other hand, honestly, I'm not too crazy about the louver in the main deck salon but that's just me. I really like the center console helm and at a slow pace could even leave the bimini up and still see ? Beautiful boat ! Thank you Nick, safe travels !
I tend to watch your channel on my TV so as to get a better view of the boats as a 15" laptop screen just does not do them justice. Now this boat is SOMETHING! I don't care for some of the fittings (louvered roof in a salon, for one - is it really water tight?) but that below deck outline is to die for. Oh, my word, it's amazing. And yes, two cabins are enough in many cases. An actual laundry room! And that little crew cabin is so practical (once again - tight seal on that hatch!). Everything, as you might say, "Brilliant"! I expect you need to start doing some really amazing saving for the bucks to buy one of those. Truth told, I'd be pretty happy with a boat like yours as that is even beyond the budget of someone on Social Security (is it really?) in the USA. Thanks much...
I think that , that if the bottom lounge area opposite the galley had a high/ low table , it could be used for dinners and also when the table is lowered , an overflow bed if needed . The day head has a shower etc so could be used by the extra people as their own bathroom. Thanks for the video.
I like just about everything ….. clean lines, great decor, excellent engines and engine room. I would create a comfy dining room opposite the kitchen. And a slightly larger crew facility would be nice
Wow, what a beautiful ship. Nicely presented, Nick! I know people are focusing on the lack of that additional cabin but really this is like complaining about an coupe sports automobile. Of course it only carries 2 people but the owner does not care.
Brilliant tour or an epic boat. Loved every square inch of it. I’d have to go for that layout for the same reason you clearly loved the lower galley and chill out zone. Superb!
Great lower deck arrangement for bad weather/climate, but prefer to be out/more open area! In basic terms apartment v open plan area with patio. For me being on a boat is being outside and the feel and open space
Beautiful! I love the layout! Having a spare cabin cuts down on he hangers on that you probably don’t want staying over, anyway. I’d take it as-is, though I’d be happy with two engines and extra fuel; top speed isn’t that big an issue for me as with something this comfortable I’d want endurance.
I never understood the idea to be with 8 or 12 people on a boat. The layout down makes a lot sense and you have much more space being 2 or max 4. Thanks for sharing
Fabulous boat! ... I think the two cabin layout adds to the resale value, especially with owner operators having the benefit of the overflow cabin, for boozy sleepovers. The bigger galley, entertaining space totally outways any third cabin that sometimes are mainly used for storing gear. Not to sure of those removable side rail lines once your at sea or feeling a little tipsy at anchor 😂
That is such a remarkably sensible layout it really is quite incredible that it's taken this long to come up with! In terms of 'real world' usability I could see that being a very alluring proposition, as pointed out by others, as a 'live aboard' it makes a 75' boat look capacious even without the benefit of a fly bridge!
I was so taken with this boat at first... for people who don't travel with a herd of friends, so roomy and comfy. But It lost me again with the 'hatch and ladder' access to that crew cabin. If you can handle a 75' by yourself though, It's nice :)
I agree this is the perfect owner/operator yacht for a mature couple. Only thing I would change is to swap the upper salon dining table with the lower salon coffee table… If I was eating inside I’d prefer to just eat down next to the galley and if I was going to carry the food upstairs then I’d plan to eat outside, because think about it, if the weather isn’t nice enough to eat outside then what view are you missing by eating on the lower deck? Also, with as large as the seating is around the lower salon along with the full day head, if you have smaller grandkids they can just sleep there. I’ve always thought filling up 3-4 cabins on an owner/operator boat just creates extra work for the owner looking after so many guests that it would probably take the fun out of the excursion and make it to much like work, plus whenever I’ve been boating with a bunch of people the guest start to cluster in other areas of the boat and your left at the helm by yourself and can start to feel left out on your own boat! The guests aren’t intentionally being rude, it just gets boring at the helm if your not the one piloting, so they start to wander off… Only two couples would definitely keep it more intimate on longer trips, with the size to load up the boat with a lot of friends for shorter day trips if you want too…
Love the casual beachy feel throughout. Appears a tad sporty with all that performance. Perhaps geared towards a slightly younger crowd, maybe even single and childless.
It is amazing to see that boat companies still don’t give Nick privacy to film his stuff. Nick is number one in RUclips and he should be respected by all boat builders.
They do occasionally.
@@BertMerlin57 What are you even trying to say?
Couldn't agree more. Thank you for that.
It's a boat show, with an awful lot of people. Preferential treatment is gonna be difficult.
Boat 7.5/10
Nick 10/10
The 2 bedroom layout works well for a small family that wants a live on board boat, the downstair kitchen and living room is going to get a tone of use.

I think I am going to borrow that galley layout for an apartment I am renovating. Thanks!
That full beam kitchen is insane! Great placement for the TV in the island, too.
I really like it when you can find someone who does something different with the layout. I agree that the galley living area down is a very interesting idea.

Love the boat. Made me think of the Windy Xanthos you showed some time ago. Love this idea.
Putting the fender latch back on one handed was 007 smooth. Just the right amount of drama but success in the end. The layout of this vessel might just revolutionize the industry. Very cool.
I'm still waiting for the call..! 😎
@@AQUAHOLIC patience is a virtue 🤔
Have a great day Nick
Love this boat! I bet/hope its on your favorites at the end of the year video this year!!!
I would spilt the master into 2 cabins if I needed 3 cabins, but then again, I'll never have that problem. I'll probably never own one, but it great to watch your videos and dream. Great job.
A superb yacht! - I love that middle section too - totally understand your enthusiasm for it! Thank you Nick for the tour!
I'm glad that you liked it 🙂
Well i was not expecting that but it’s just absolutely beautiful it reminds me of the sailing yachts where you go down and you have your lounge and kitchen, i think it’s just fantastic but it also gives you so much more room.
Love it just love it , though i did get the whereabouts of the dishwasher wrong
Cheers Nick loved it 👍👍👍
Why hasn't this been done before? It's like anything: Someone has to be first at some point. It's like an interior designer saw the light and thought what you thought, Nick; "Why always draw up many cabins when you can do so much with the space?" And so yachts continue to evolve and become less and less standard. Beautiful to see!
You'll only have that £5,000,000 to spend? I wouldn't know which yacht I would choose. 😉
I've got used to boats of a certain size being identical, aside from decoration. It's great to see some original thinking creating differentiation.
Good thinking!
Wonderful video, Nick! Your enthusiasm shines through and is most welcomed, as always.
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Nice work Nick! As usual, you make a thorough tour look easy, even with a crowd.
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
As always thank you for taking us on a tour of her
🤞
I agree this one is a keeper!
It's good to see something different, not to all tastes but a very good option.
Conversely, at one point, I was left feeling "not another sun pad". I'm not a sun worshipper, so more deck space options wouldn't go amiss.
Thanks Nick, a thought provoking tour.
You're very welcome
Fully agreed - awesome layout - thanks for the tour as always sir !
I'm glad that you enjoyed it 🙂
Another lovely yacht and brilliant video Nick 🚤🛥⛵️👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
Many thanks J!
Love this layout. Especially as I have few friends. But then I imagine if I had the money, to buy this boat, they may come out of the wardrobe. Fab tour, thank you Nick ! X
Well, you've got to keep them somewhere..! 😄
Wow !! Agree with the you on open plan galley/ lounge, perfect for an evening entertaining friends. Well presented by yourself as always, you handled the numerous distractions that you had to navigate around extremely well. Another one to dream of owning, thank you !
You're very kind 🙂
That concept of a lounge + kitchen space is already very common on cats (particularly power cats) but it's usually found on the main deck. This one somehow is a very nice "porting over" of that idea because it also mimics how the individual cabins are directly connected with it. It's a great place to be both in the early mornings and also in the late evenings. I'm also of the impression that this is an option on some 50 and 60-footers, though.
Wow… amazing boat and layout! 🤩
That would make a lot of sense
What a beautiful boat and layout
Great job,as always. Thanks for continuing to bring us great content. Looks like a great day for filming. Hope you enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Many thanks!
love that layout, Nick. What a wonderful idea. Great boat, greay tour!
Many thanks!
Brilliant tour or an epic boat.
Loved every square inch of it.
I’d have to go for that layout for the same reason you clearly loved the lower galley and chill out zone. Superb!
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Great lower deck arrangement for bad weather/climate, but prefer to be out/more open area! In basic terms apartment v open plan area with patio. For me being on a boat is being outside and the feel and open space
I really like this idea, thanks Nick.
Glad you like it! 🙂
Glad you like it! 🙂
Great tour!! Unique yacht!! I would like to see that same floorplan but with a fly bridge!!! Thanks Nick!!
very Jaws-like if I'm not mistaken, (the movie) when they're down there having a drink telling stories below deck!
Thanks for the share Nick.
My pleasure!!
For me this is a perfect layout and something I'd definitely have.
I wouldn’t have been able to sleep if you didn’t find the dishwasher! Cheers nick.
They all review the same boats at these shows but Nick’s are the only tours I enjoy. Don’t bother with the others! Aquaholic 👊🏻❤️
Thank you! 🙏
Love this layout!
