I know it's only a movie but I believe in the US if your house is considered inhabitable or in need of hygienic upkeep you can lose it though I have seen worse than this on TV shows where professional cleaners can come & clean up. I guess u have NO rights no matter how old u r even in your own home. This is a very moving tv film with 2 of Hollywood's greats. I am surprised they never worked together before this. James looks a lot older though than his 75 years but he was revered by Hollywood & his peers. It was sad he was a year short of reaching 90. What a true actor he was & I loved his movies especially his Hitchcock ones. As for Bette, she looks pretty good here & very sprightly being 75 also. I enjoyed her in ...Baby Jane, Dark Victory, The Letter & many more. So glad to have come across this gem as it hasn't been on TV for a long time.
