On the Alison shifter press up and down arrow at the same time and it will tell you the fluid level and you can also go in a view codes and clear them.. usually just fill them threw the dip stick
love your videos jake sounds sweet in that KW I been Trucking 37 years and learn a lot from your videos another thing i like is when you're in your shop working
Thank you for your response on engine board .. Your u tube are very nice to watch and understand. Love how you and employees get a long together. Larry
Every year Easter weekend there's a Jeep Safari. Moab has some amazing terrain for 4 wheeling in a vehicle. There are many videos on RUclips showing the thrills and spills of Moab. Great video thanks for the Jake's sounds so nice.
Ben watching diesel since they started glad to see you dealing with them God bless you and hope you grow and do well love your show bless you and your family
Howdy! Both loads are super cool. You made going though those mountains in Utah look easy pleasey. Thanks 4 taking us along. B safe out there. God is your pilot. 🙏🏼⛟🇺🇸💕
That’s so awesome that you’re hauling for heavy d there a good group of guys and you’re awesome too God bless and you and your success in many years to come
Another way to break the trailer apart and not have the neck drop so much is to slide your fifth wheel forward as much as possible then throw your block of wood in there. Just a trick I learned the hard way. Love your channel Tim thanks !
Man Sam has to be loving life. So much exposure to different channels, and everybody wants him to hang with them. What a badass way to spend the second half of life.
If you keep an open mind and humble yourself daily you can learn something new every day that is one of your best attributes Tim you never claim to know it all and not are you willing to teach you are willing to learn great job guys👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸😎
Tip : when you roll your straps up roll them the other way so when you throw them you can hold the hook and also they won’t damage anything side your holding the hook
Looks awsome! Just a little observation from a fellow owner operator, roll the straps with the hook out. That way your not throwing the hook across the customers freight having potention ding damage claims.
@@kwmiked don't know if I'd go that far, from what I've seen most his time has been in boats and walking floors. Different areas require different skill sets that need to be learnt. If it weren't for the old timers I ran with I wouldn't have known half of what I've learned thru the years about open deck.
Another trick of the trade when dealing with the loose end of straps that requires what I feel is less work. Roll up enough to be able to secure the rolled end under the itself on the corner of the load before ratcheting it completely tight.
Easter Jeep Safari Was that weekend..Theres was some Great RUclipsrs there..I used to always get up on I-80 then go across just for that reason Big Hills and Sharp Turns..Its alot easier on You and the Truck...LOL..Glad You Guys made it Safe..Great Video..
That truck your hauling to Florida for heavy d is my favorite of all time build. I'm building a cat eye 2003 dually 3500 version of it same height and keeping the duals just tractor or military wheels.. gonna be an epic truck but if I could pick 1 of heavy ds trucks I would pick the bad ass duramax on your trailer...
You need to be very versatile with the loads you are doing with this trailer! Looks like you have a winner with the W900 as well, the welded ramps work well.
That's a great new trick with the straps that will help save time in future jobs, that Dave Sparks is a bright guy and seems like a nice place to deliver to as well. My father was in the trucking business and when I was a kid I would ride with him and watching this brought back some good memories, thanks 👍
Thats a typical run for me narrow winding roads and mountain passes hauling cattle from Montana to several boarding states. We run quad trailers weighing 108,000 gross with a payload of 68,000 yearling calves. We typically are running Cummins 550 ISX in either KW’s or Pete’s.
I passed you on I24 in Kentucky hauling this load a couple weeks ago. Tried hollering at you on the CB. Been waiting for a video to drop on it to see what was going on with it. Truck looked great going down the road hauling it. Love the look of that W900
Seeing how persistent you were to get your W 900 back on the road has gotten me wanting My W 900 back on the road it's almost done but not quite there yet.
That brings back some memory's when you come out of the canyon there in Provo there is the windmill right next to the road just before that flying J that sucker scared the shit out of me. The head lights on my truck shined on it just enough so I could see it. When I seen the blade coming down I duct in the truck. But I traveled that many times and it really sucks in the winter. Its pretty cool going through the canyon then all of a sudden you see that big mine. Cool video keep'em coming
Tell you what that strap knot will come in handy for sure. Gudrun brother W900 rolling. Plenty of power and runs clean that's really nice Tim. Keep it shiny side up rubber side down. I'm 10-8, so be safe back towards the home 20.
Been on that road a time or two think they followed a snake when they built it one thing it will the jakes a work out as you found out but imagine with no jakes the one thing I found out on my old W900 it’s hard to see the front corners like you I would catch the corners of the bumper can’t tell you how many bumpers I went thru but after awhile I feel in love with mine and my daughter use to love it and she use to sit in my lap and steer of course it was on flat and straight but my son would cry when we put him in it he hated trucks and now my daughter owns a trucking company and my son still doesn’t like trucks
Seeing you rolling the big W-900 makes me wish I wasn't retired! Miss my Pete but drive W-9's throughout my career. Here's a little tip for what's it's worth, that big old N-14 should really pull like gangbusters between 1800 - 2100 RPM's up those long grades without a skip. Don't lug it down like a Cat or big ol Detroit! Love the big power and love what your doing here on RUclips. Waving a hand from Arkansas!
Hey a tip that might help you slide the fifth wheel back when you un hook so the angle of the neck is closer to the ramps so the blocks hold the neck up
Hey Gentry & Sons Trucking. Your videos, have been a huge inspiration for me getting into the trucking industry. The W900, the Pete, the Scam Truck & the cabovers. I’m going to test for my CDL permit tomorrow, and CDL Training starts on Monday. I hope one day after I start driving, I’m able to make my way to Sweetwater, Tennessee come and tell you thank you and shake your hand. Definitely have been an inspiration to me and kid from Cali
I’ve drove that route through new Mexico several times down Highway six and 191 into Albuquerque and then across 40 to Texas hauling Hazardous waste loads from Salt Lake It’s a beautiful ride love your contacts love that you’re a family man I don’t do social media and said hit you up on one of those keep it up
Another method I was taught for straps was to take your slack and roll it up instead of folding it and then when you roll it leave about a 3 finger gap in the center of the roll then once you get about 6-8 inches from the ratchet turn it stick the remaining slack through the center hole and pull it over the edges of the roll it stays that way. Stores nice, it's easy to undo and unroll makes things a little faster in my opinion
Im almost certain it was you that drove past Dad and I eating lunch in moab city center on our last trip to the Arches. Never put it together till now! Lol 👍🚛
Having worked on MK23, MK25 for years. The fill for transsmission is the dip stick. The tube behind the cab is the breather for when its under water. Aint nothing like a Cat C-10
I started out n a large car.. so if u start out n them and athats what u used to.. it feels funny getting into something different.. but I was lucky to stay n large cars..
Yup seconded. Get yourself a strap winder save your hands and time… having tidy gear makes strapping down quicker and looks better if the customer happens to be watching as well
That 191 stretch... N from hwy 6 to Roosevelt, I posted a winter video at 12 ft wide crosing that. Still doesn't compare to 191 in Wyoming.. flaming gorge is a fun one haha. Stay safe.
When you were going down the incline before you got to moab. Your speedo was working at a steady 50 mph. Could just be a loose wire or connection on the back of it. You probably already checked it out im sure. I just remember another video you said you had to get it fixed and I just noticed that it was working at 1 point in this video. Enjoy all of your videos keep up your good work
Got my merch in and I love it I really do that you and you family for allowing me to follow as y'all continue to grow I am a really big fan and and I love the content for real
Would like to see you come to Australia and drive some Road Trains. 6 trailers and over some real roads. dirt tracks.. up through the north during wet season too.
Sounds mean lol.. meant would be interesting and experience. Is a sight when trying to overtake these Road Trains. need lots of road lol. Remember travelling through Northern Territory and overtaking one. ripped a big hole in our exhaust. drove the old V8 for hours with hole in it.. tried wrapping coke can around it too lol.
Hey Tim my friend if you ever have any of those chain binder's get you hung up where you can't get it unhooked just piggyback another binder a couple of links up from your bottom hook to 1 or 2 links above your top hook and use your binder bar on that 1 to get the slack to get 1st binder aloose man it work's great.
Looks like you went through Moab on Easter Jeep Safari. Its pretty much the biggest Jeep and offroad event around . Every RUclips and every company in the industry tries to be there its awsome I went a few years ago and met or seen everybody I watch on RUclips and big people in the industry it was awsome
Love seeing Sam piloting the freightshaker there ! Man of many talents, and still wanting to learn new things
A couple months ago that rig was sitting in the weeds and now look at it. That's pretty dam cool!
Man ol Sam is getting around... Love it, what a great guy Sam is!!!
On the Alison shifter press up and down arrow at the same time and it will tell you the fluid level and you can also go in a view codes and clear them.. usually just fill them threw the dip stick
SWEET HORSE POOP. THAT JAKE AND THAT COAL ROLLING.......WOOOO
love your videos jake sounds sweet in that KW I been Trucking 37 years and learn a lot from your videos another thing i like is when you're in your shop working
Thank you for taking us along
Nice seeing Dave
Thank you for your response on engine board ..
Your u tube are very nice to watch and understand.
Love how you and employees get a long together.
Larry
I love how Heavy D gets down and does the work. No job is dirty and he doesn't ask his employees to do what he will not.
Every year Easter weekend there's a Jeep Safari. Moab has some amazing terrain for 4 wheeling in a vehicle. There are many videos on RUclips showing the thrills and spills of Moab. Great video thanks for the Jake's sounds so nice.

Just like my Dad told me a long time ago, you learn something new every day "if" you pay attention.. 😎👍❤️
TRUCK IS DOING PRETTY GOOD THERE TIM. HAPPY FOR YOU BROTHER. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.
Sam is just the nicest guy ever. He’s even driving Freedom Force One man of many talents
Such a beautiful sound wish this 379 would sound that beautiful
Man that W9 sounds absolutely awesome 👌 I love it 👍 keep doing what you are doing you're definitely going places
If he’s going to keep running that trailer, he should consider a long slide. Slide it all the way forward helps hugely
Man Sam has to be loving life.
So much exposure to different channels, and everybody wants him to hang with them.
What a badass way to spend the second half of life.
good lord you are doing work son heavy D rolling some work to you. God bless that man always good to see all you guy's
If you keep an open mind and humble yourself daily you can learn something new every day that is one of your best attributes Tim you never claim to know it all and not are you willing to teach you are willing to learn great job guys👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸😎
Your channel is running some neat loads to really cool places.
Gentry was going crazy with that thing at the farm no wonder the check trans light is on
Tip : when you roll your straps up roll them the other way so when you throw them you can hold the hook and also they won’t damage anything side your holding the hook
Looks awsome! Just a little observation from a fellow owner operator, roll the straps with the hook out. That way your not throwing the hook across the customers freight having potention ding damage claims.
I noticed the same thing.
For someone that says he's been doing this for so long, I seem to think he's the pencil pusher or steering wheel holder for most of the yrs
@@kwmiked don't know if I'd go that far, from what I've seen most his time has been in boats and walking floors. Different areas require different skill sets that need to be learnt. Another great video! My Gentry & sons t-shirt just arrived in the Netherlands. Thanks!
Seeing how persistent you were to get your W 900 back on the road has gotten me wanting My W 900 back on the road it's almost done but not quite there yet.
Love the way the w900 turned out pulled good up the hills the hole trip was good like the video keep them coming 👌

33:21 Tim jumps sky high when he
Revved the truck I can’t be the only one who seen it scare him
you are right Shane, it does save messing about with Zip Tie's.
Good ol Easter Jeep Safari. Good luck finding a place to stay if you don’t plan way ahead.
It's cool to see Tim rolling around in my part of the country. 👍
That's a really cool old thanks for sharing
Utah does seem to have a lot of up and down hills for sure. Thanks for sharing the strap trick.👍😎
Thanks again for your work. Sam is one cool dude. Sparks with a turbo diesel hyster forklift? Awesome!Stay safe!

FYI.... when loading and unloading tires with a forklift spray some silicone spray on your forks. It helps them slide on and off easy.
love to sam so great you are all such amazing person
This is what a driver Co. Is supposed to look like!!! Ain't no robot gunna be able to achieve what bros can do!!! Cheers man!!!
I like going that way it's the best way to go and that little jeep town is always packed out lol
Awesome. Nice load... Fun times

It was the Easter Jeep safari in Moab.

You need to get them speed binders that you use a battery drill or impact wrench to operate them.
Having worked on MK23, MK25 for years. The fill for transsmission is the dip stick. The tube behind the cab is the breather for when its under water. Aint nothing like a Cat C-10

Pretty neat with the strapping...saves on zip-ties too :)
Tim I'm happy for you that the W900 did a good job going to Utah for you really appreciate the videos buddy 👍
Sam has to be one of the coolest guys on Earth..He's amazing..
Those knifes are awesome I got 2, you can sharpen them an change the blades!
Everyone can hate doing it all they want, but rolling all your straps up nice is the way to go. Nothing like organized gear.
TMC made us do it back when I was flatbedding with them. It’s more of a habit for me.
Yup seconded. Get yourself a strap winder save your hands and time… having tidy gear makes strapping down quicker and looks better if the customer happens to be watching as well

I have one of those knives and it is my favorite knife ever and works super great for field dressing a Deer
