Welcome to the bottom side of heavy haul Tim. You did everything just fine for a rookie heavy haul driver. You just met the difference between a truck driver and a truck operator. Nice job.

Under the steps to the cab on the drivers side there is a brace that prevents the machine from articulating (pivoting) in the middle. You just swing it open and put the pin in that way the machine cant turn or shift during transport. Not sure if you knew or not, but it could prevent the load from shifting or breaking chains. Good video :)

That Ford is one of the best work Trucks on the market, especially when you have a driver who will help take care of it. General up keep such as oil change, tires, breaks is about as much as I have had to do to mine. Those 7.3 diesel motors are good on fuel as well if you have it turned right, and a driver who doesn't try to set record delivery times in it. Good video Tim thanks alot brother. Keep that loader...we picked up an older cat 980G and just set of tires were 10k used...it saves so much time and wear and tear. One scoop equal two and half of the smaller bucket loaders...
Hey Tim !! With any Articulated Unit ,, the Brace under the cab has to turned & locked into place so that the machine CAN'T turn sideways even with the chains on it !!! Cross chains are required & where they cross need to have ""OLD" belting or "OLD"" fire hose in between them so they DON"T rub together !! Use ALL the D-Rings to secure the machine as hooks on frame rail will slide when machine moves under "HEAVY BRAKING ""!! You need to watch the HHTV Channel & see how he ties these loads down along with the other channels that do heavy hauling !!! Not to criticize you for what you are doing , just giving you advise as you asked !! 🤔🤔🤠😎😮👍👍

Some guys say you have to hook up the steering lock but in 20 or more years hauling heavy equipment I only had 1 dot officer with something to prove give me crap about it. but other than that you chained it down how did it for years. but always put 2 chains crossed over the bucket incase a pin shears off the boom it won't shift sideways because I've seen that happen a few times. 1 last thing I crossed chains many times so if they broke it was either those gold looking grade nothing trying to pass as grade 8 chains or they chains weren't tight enough and it had one hell of a bump over stretch it.
Hey Tim I love you merch especially the light grey hat with the flag on the back and the shirts are awsome!!! Prayers to you and your family from a fellow trucker!!!!
Tim is smart takes care of his good people everybody wins. N14 did a pretty good job pulling that heavy loader. Your thinking of a KT Cummins 600 and 450. The Big Cam is 3 and 4 is stamped on the block right behind the injection pump. It looked like a Big Cam IV 350 or 400. Gypsum is used in Agriculture as well as wallboard, in Ag is neutralizes the salts in fertilizers which can cause damage, If you every see damage from road salt to the grass gypsum will get rid of the salt and minimize the damage.
back in the day we bought one of them WA 500 at a auction , The hotter it got nothing would work for us especially the transmission , When it was cold it work great but once it started getting hot it would not work correctly no more , So we loaded it backup took it back to the auction and we lost $12,000 bucks on it somebody else bought the headache , It is definitely chained down correctly , That loader is NOT going nowhere on that trailer I would NOT worry about it , You should have for magnet FLAGS , Put one on each tire and a flag on each side of the bucket and then your wide load signs on the front and back You will be good to go , Your trailer looks like a 55 ton trailer you should be OK , Some people do not know , that loader only weighs 65,000 pounds at the most , Seems like your KW is pulling it pretty damm good
The way I was taught on a wheel loader is the chain goes over the bucket, so I just go from the back side to the front side of the bucket on an angle and it legal. Also I was taught that if it has an articulate point like the center pivot to put the lock that “should” be their to lock it from trying to move. I think the chain across is legal but my personal preference is to put the pin in and that way it’s locked and will not move.
When your hauling machines cover the exhaust! The turbo will spin with no oil feeding it when going down the road plus dirt can get into the cylinders!
I used a 5 gallon bucket and a tarp strap when I hauled any diesel machine to cover the exhaust, I lost one turbo and half my rear and that was all it took
Horsepower is 353 @1,900 RPM, Operating weight is 76, 897 - 77,856 lbs., Bucket capacity is 5.9 - 8.2 yd³ and the Fuel tank capacity is 124.9 US gal. This thing is a B E A S T no joke. You need to drive it through the pond first before you decide to sell it as that would be freanin' AWESOME 🙂

Good stuff Man you have faith in your company
God bless you and your whole family for doing what u guys all do best; keep up the great work and jam and grab those gears!!

Tim may god bless you and your family. Stay safe!!!
Id be nervous too! Go head driver!
back in the day we bought one of them WA 500 at a auction , The hotter it got nothing would work for us especially the transmission , When it was cold it work great but once it started getting hot it would not work correctly no more , So we loaded it backup took it back to the auction and we lost $12,000 bucks on it somebody else bought the headache , It is definitely chained down correctly , That loader is NOT going nowhere on that trailer I would NOT worry about it , You should have for magnet FLAGS , Put one on each tire and a flag on each side of the bucket and then your wide load signs on the front and back You will be good to go , Your trailer looks like a 55 ton trailer you should be OK ,
Some people do not know , that loader only weighs 65,000 pounds at the most , Seems like your KW is pulling it pretty damm good
Damn the w900 pulls like a darling. She's hauling, pedal to the metal bro....
Looks Good To Me Driver. Lets Roll
I’ve seen it happen equipment hauled north no bucket on exhaust filled with water
So as much as your points make sense a fact is a fact
That is complete Bullshit!
@BFTtheTRUTH I know if a driver ever showed up with my machine without a bag on it they wouldn't be doing it again
@@CarbonNeutral22 shows what u know, go back and sit on the porch
Horsepower is 353 @1,900 RPM, Operating weight is 76, 897 - 77,856 lbs., Bucket capacity is 5.9 - 8.2 yd³ and the Fuel tank capacity is 124.9 US gal. This thing is a B E A S T no joke. You need to drive it through the pond first before you decide to sell it as that would be freanin' AWESOME 🙂
I think The pond would be a pot hole for it
