Bad matchup for venom in +R. Unfortunately slayer is high risk high reward, but due to venoms poor conversion ability and low damage without risk, slayer becomes more a low risk high reward vs venom. Even worse, Slayer can FB through venoms pressure and attempt to start momentum, which makes it very hard for venom to establish dominance in neutral and corner situations. Not to mention the risk for slayer to FB through venom is in his favor due to being high reward. Not to mention slayer’s multi-route mixes easily bully venom due to his lack of any reversal. Venom can occasionally get enough momentum to choke slayer leading to overcome slayer’s linear mobility, but getting in that scenario is unlikely. I’d say 7-3 ish in slayer’s favor. Venom struggles against all the unga characters like Jam May Slayer In XX AC, venom’s better conversion ability and damage really helps a slayer to respect venom more which is what venom needs in order to have breathing room to set balls and generate momentum
