***** thanks! We'll definitely have to meetup another time. My M&D live nearby UNB (close to Sobeys and Harvey's on Regent) so we'll be back for a visit in the not too distant future hopefully.
Wow, I remember so many great memories. I used to live in Fredericton! I rmeber a lot ! I remember performing at the Chinese New Year gala, reading at the library and seeing 0:16 that house every time I was on my way to class but now I just moved and I don't live there anymore ;(
Loved this video!!!! Can't believe I was in it! At 0:28 I was the girl in the blue shirt! Ps: you should come in 2018 because we're getting a theme park! This was so awesome! Please make more vids in Fredericton! Thanks! (Your vids are AMAZING and well edited) keep on making vids! You guys are the VERY best!
Haven't looked into how the landscape has changed, given that this video was taken at least 6 years ago. That being said, it appears vibrant but not busy, little to no high-rise buildings/condos (likely several now), somewhat quiet, slower paced than other capital cities (what many may call "boring"). It seems to check all the boxes of what I'm looking for - general peace and quiet, yet sociable when I care for such. That being said, I'd opt to never live within a city again - minimum 30 minutes drive away. While not at all a fan of winter, the option of going elsewhere in the world, a few months each year is feasible. Thanks for the insights/tips. I look forward to visiting and exploring the entire province.
once you get to the trail you can bike for hours well yeah the trans Canada trail goes right through fredricton you could bike all the way to vancover if you wanted
I also really recommend going to Clay Café, a poetry joint where you paint potery then the fire it leaving your painting with a smooth glossy finish. Also unplugged. A small café in downtown Fredericton, where you can eat food and have beverages while playing unlimited amount of board games (provided) all for a decent price!
i am thinking about buying around the Fredericton area. Say 15 to 20 minutes out of town. Id there alot of bugs in the summer time 15 to 20 minutes out of town or do you have to go a bit farther to get the bugs? Or do you think its better go to Moncton? Thanks for your help in advance:)
Hi, I'm coming to Fredericton as part of my visit to New Brunswick on next October (my first visit to Canada 😍), I wonder what's the weather like in this time of the year ? thanks and have a great weekend 😉
Hey! Ah, that should be a nice time to visit. You'll have lovely fall colors (especially the trees) and the weather will be cooling down a bit but still okay during the daytime. I would bring some warmer clothes for the evenings and mornings.
Which is the right time to vist NB Canada Fredericton City. Is it ok in the month of May or it's perfect in the month of August Please tell ... I know it's pandemic time. Once the situation is normal and things in a good mood then only I apply for visa n fly ✈️ to the city of gems
Samuel & Audrey hehe after writing this comment I realized you two might not get the reference because you live such exciting lives! It was joke about The Game of Thrones, a lot of the books/TV show takes place in a kingdom called Kings Landing where there is an iron throne. :)
Hello Samuel & Audrey, I'm JOSENICE. I'm Brazilian, my son is 23 and he wants to do another university in Canada and was delighted to New Brunswick. But I as concerned mother would like to know more about their city as is the cost of living there, and he has college Technology Informatica, will be that it will ease in finding a job while studying? Congratulations on the video.
Josy Calegare It's a nice University to study at. The biggest concern coming from Brazil will be to find good quality winter clothes. It is extremely cold during the winter months in Fredericton.
Why would you do a full shot of the back of the New Brunswick Legislative Building and not the front? The front of the building looks beautiful. You gave only a little partial shot of the front. Your video is pretty good, but having moved from Vancouver I was surprised by the beauty and recreation activities here. I don't think your little video really emphasizes the fullness of Fredericton. I love the winters here. It was the first winter I went through with lots of sunshine and bright snow. Vancouver is dark, grey and rainy for 6 months of the year.
Brodie mak Thanks! I didn't shoot the front because of the lighting/time of day. It would have been washed out. Unfortunately, we just had a few days in Fredericton, so winter activities got skipped. I'm from Vancouver Island so I can relate to the lack of sunshine during the winter months.
mariel peveri i live in fredericton. it sure is cold. you’ll survive tho. just get warm coats and clothes if you decide to move here. it’s definitely a wonderful place to live!
I live in Fredericton, and I can personally tell you that there is no specific English school but, in most middle and high schools we have and EAL course which teaches English to foreigners
Ticks, ticks, ticks. Lyme disease and all TBD (tick born diseases). My grand parents and great grandparents are from St. John. Beautiful, but deadly. Lyme disease has been passed down to our current generation. So scary. My cousin went back and he died in his early 50s. He probably got bitten again.
Moving to Fredericton this April and I am thrilled after watching this video! Kudos!
Hey Guys!
Awesome showcase of my hometown :) Too bad I missed you!

Im Brazilian and i went to Fredericton in 2019, i really miss this city, the places, people... OMG!! I have to go again
What a nice & pretty looking city. Some of those houses were gorgeous! Thanks for making this for us.
Thank you! It is a really cool city.
Thank you. It is great video

Ah, thank you very much! Where is the theme park going to be located? We'll hopefully be back soon.
Samuel and Audrey - Travel and Food Videos kingswood! You guys HAVE to come please!
That's my son playing the drums at 0:34, and my daughter dancing on the left (above the B in BIENVENUE) at 6:35. :o) What were the chances of that?!
Andrew McAllister that's awesome! We sure had a great time in Fredericton :)
where are you from?
Our hometown! We like to Boogie Woogie downtown all the time
Great to hear! Just revisited family this summer!
We visited Fredericton in 2008 and found it to be the very best town with the nicest people of any town in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
That is really cool to hear!
I live in fredericton. Delighted someone enjoyed it. There are many things to do around here you just have to look long and hard :3
Frederik Park Thanks! It is a nice city to visit with enough to offer first time visitors.
looks like a fun small town!
+Kiwonik Paul It really is - especially in the summer :)

Thanks Eric! The city has developed a bit since we filmed this but has still retained its charm.
Awesome video guys ... UNB is #1! :)
James Shannon thanks! UNB is awesome!

Thanks for posting this! I'm looking at Saint Thomas University for colleges because I'll be a senior soon
Thanks! That is cool to hear.
Have you been up there in the winter? Do you know what its like in the winter months?

+Albino Ginger Cool! Which part?

Beautiful, love to visit. Is there any accommodation you will recommend ?
Thanks! We'd recommend staying in a bnb maybe along Waterloo Row.

Great question. If you enjoy fall colours I would suggest coming in Sep-Oct
Can anyone participate in those throwing competitions? I just don't have a kilt
Did you get to see the Iron Throne when you visited King's Landing? ;)
Also, great vid! Great to be shown places I have never thought about visiting before
LogansJourney Oh, I think we may have missed that? Where is it located exactly?
LogansJourney thank you! Even though it is not a huge city, Fredericton sure has a lot to offer visitors :)

Hi, I might consider moving there after seeing this video. What’s the lowest temperature in winter, do you know? I’m from Argentina
Cool to hear Mariel! It can get very cold in the winter on a chilly day between -20 to -30.
Samuel and Audrey - Travel and Food Videos oh my gosh! Do you think I might survive? 🙄🤔😬🤷♀️😘
mariel peveri i live in fredericton. it sure is cold. you’ll survive tho. just get warm coats and clothes if you decide to move here. it’s definitely a wonderful place to live!
Does Fredericton city has some english school for foreigners ?
Yes, it definitely does and it also has a university.
I live in Fredericton, and I can personally tell you that there is no specific English school but, in most middle and high schools we have and EAL course which teaches English to foreigners
The University has an English Second Language Course that is attended by multi national students who wish to learn English or improve their English.

It is a very nice place to visit in the summer. Come winter it sure gets cold.
Lieutenant-Governor is pronounced LEFTENANT GOVERNOR, or in phonemes if you're a linguist: /leftenənt gʌvɜ:nər/ Otherwise , it's a nice video.
Julian Smith Thanks!
When you see yourself in your hometown

My cousin died at the light tower
