- Come join us for a day trip to St. Martins, New Brunswick, Canada to visit the impressive sea caves and hike around Fundy Trail Parkway. Thanks to an invitation from our good family friends Joan and Garry, we had the opportunity to explore more of New Brunswick visiting some real hidden gems. The drive to Saint Martin's from Fredericton was incredibly scenic as we drove through serpentine forest roads.
Upon arriving in St Martin's we couldn't help but notice how lively it was given that there was a special home coming week taking place with about half of the local residents having big garage sales.
Our first stop was at an old grocery shop dating back to 1889 which also featured interesting souvenirs. We then headed out to visit the famous St Martin's Caves! To say they were impressive is an understatement. Visiting at various different times of the day ensures an entirely different experience depending on the tide. At certain times you can visit the caves by kayak.
From there we entered into Fundy Trail Parkway where we paid and entrance fee and drove down to Long Beach to walk along the beach and then have a delicious lunch buffet prepared by our hosts Garry and Joan.
We then continued into the park visiting the Interpretive Center, walking across a suspension bridge and going for a hike before visiting Fuller Falls.
Afterwards with seafood chowder and ice cream on our mind we headed back to St. Martin's where we first checked out some covered bridges before grabbing some delicious food.
We finished things off by visiting Red Rock before driving back to Fredericton. What an incredible day-trip in New Brunswick! Thanks again to our friends Joan and Garry for making it possible and if you have a chance to visit New Brunswick be sure to check it out as it is one of the more underrated provinces in Canada for tourism.

Oh my goodness, I love these road trip videos featuring New Brunswick! We live in Rothesay, about 40 minutes from the sea caves and it’s one of the spots where we like to take our out of town guests. This makes me so happy to live here! Thanks for sharing our beautiful (though underrated and often overlooked) province with your viewers!
Thank you very much! We had so much fun visiting NB this summer.

Wow, this personal tour with such wonderful people, was just what I needed: thank you for that. I am planning a trip to the Atlantic provinces this year. I will be on the road for 2 months. I am leaving North Vancouver BC around August 01. I have never been and I thought the best way to see the other side of Canada is by car. I am definitely going to include a visit to St Martins now.. Thankyou again for the awesome video. Cheers, Michael
Ur Couple is very cute may you live always together lots of love and best wishes and prayers for both of u and for ur parents
Thank you very much Amna!

I spent every summer as a kid in St Martin's, my Grandfather owns part of the beach there .
Wow! A close family friend is from there. I wonder if they know each other.
The waters in Shediac ,Cap-Pele and Kouchibouguac are as warm as the waters off Virgina and some of the best beaches in the country, I personally grew up on the southern Saint John river which is a boaters paradise...enjoy ...Thanks for the video
Thanks Rob! We'd love to visit those 3 places next time! We have an Uncle who lives in St John that enjoys sailing.
RUclips suggested you channel and it happens I just came back from St.Martins. it is a wonderful town and Fundy Trail is absolutely gorgeous
Thank you very much! It certainly is gorgeous!
Loved, loved... this video i couldn't agree more but i am bit bias as i live in St. Martins but moved here years ago from London, Ontario . You guys did a great job promoting the beauty all around the area i love that you acknowledged the covered wooden bridges they are amazing with so much history behind them we truly need to keep these beauties but their future is at risk even here. My favorite beach close by is Browns beach so many people come to simply visit the caves if they only ventured further to the Fundy trail, Browns beach, Duck pond or Moore's for a ice cream cone days can be spent on day trips in this local area. Thank you so much for this video i will share and your absolutely right this area is a hidden gem.
Thank you very much Sherrie! That is so cool to hear. It truly is a gem and underrated. It must be a lovely place to live with a combination of the beaches, nature and tranquility.
Cool music to go with fab video. 'Steely Dan' vibe👍
Thanks Nigel! Love Steely Dan.
It was beautiful to see my village thru you eyes. We forget what we have. Old home week brings so many visitors. So much beauty in New Brunswick, there are many falls for you to see, parks, . The Saint John City Market only 25 minutes from Martins. Reversing falls, Irving’s pollution in Saint John. Come back again there is more to see,
Thank you very much! We'd love to see more of NB.
Very beautiful.
Thanks! This is a very underrated place to visit in Patagonia.
We've been planning on visiting Canada, but we don't know where to start! Thank goodness you guys are amazing! Best recommendations ever! IT IS SO AMAZING! I LOVE THE NATURE! LOVING THE FOOD! MORE MORE MORE!!!
Thank you very much Bheng! We have another NB video coming out and then Vancouver Island :)

You guys really inspired my girlfriend and I to travel this summer, and we went to 7 countries in Europe and a few cities based entirely on your suggestions! Love your videos!
Thank you very much! How was your trip? Would love to go back to Montreal for a visit.
@@samuelandaudrey it was life changing! Prague, Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest, Zagreb, Zadar, lubjiana, Pula, Piran, venice, Trieste! Really really fun! We both really enjoy your videos!
Hooooola amigos. Llegué primero a saludarlos
Hola Marcelo! Gracias!
I live here :)
Thanks Gilly! What a beautiful place to live!
Do u work at caves
I have been to NB... for like an hour when our truck broke down on the way home from Gaspé 😂
Ah, that is cool to hear! Would love to visit Gaspé someday.
Of all the places along the Fundy Coats St. Martins is the one the Locals never suggest to go to xD
Where do you suggest going?
@@samuelandaudrey Off the top of my head the places I'd go if I had a few free weekends: Cape Enrage, St. George Gorge, Minister’s Island, Grand Manan Island, Campobello Island, Deer Island, and the classic Saint John Reversing Falls. Saint Andrew is a nice place too and if you like Chocolate Saint Stephen.
thats the only issue i have ..PEI eastern Canada ..i think best beaches in the world but you can't go swimming ...to cold
Hahaha...yeah, there is a reason most beach vacations are south of Canada.
would like you guys to do a video about yourselves. Like how you afford your travels, why you like or dislike parts of travelling etc
Thanks! That is a great idea.
Ah es en inglés.
Ok have a great day nivel people!!!
The Spanish version of this video came out yesterday on the other channel. 😉
👍👌😊👏
Thanks Fokas!
Is there any sort of tailor made trips from the main cities to theses places in Canada?. Can they be only made by car?Can they be organized by travel agencies?
I would imagine they have numerous tour options but we've never taken one so I can't suggest one in particular.

Did Audrey get a new haircut? Her hair looks so cute!
Thanks Anne! I believe she did and in real-time she got another one yesterday...haha
That place reminds me of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. My parents went to Niagara Falls in New York when I was a child. I don't remember much about the trip. My father started driving into Canada. I was expecting the trip to Canada to be like a trip to Florida or Texas. I was expecting to see people, shopping centers, and homes everywhere. Canada has a population of 37 million people. Texas has a population of 29 million. Canada is 15 times larger than Texas. So much of Canada is unsettled territory.
Thanks Brian! That is so true. California has a bigger population than Canada by 2.5 million. Most of the 37 million is within driving distance of the border. The further north you go in Canada the more remote it gets.
I hope you all get a chance to see Gatlinburg, Tennessee someday if you have never been there. I'm sure Canada becomes more remote as you travel further north because of the cold weather. I remember watching a documentary about people living in Alaska. A man was trying to start a snowmobile. The engine was frozen. He had to build a fire and thaw the engine before he could start it. It was 40 degrees below zero Fahrenheit outside. I can't imagine living there. I start feeling miserable when it's 40 degrees above zero.
I heard theres a korean restaurant there
Cool to hear Carlos! Had no idea.
There is no Korean restaurant here. There's a Mexican restaurant though.
Talk about the Bay of Fundy:

at '3:50 ish but I recommend to watch the whole thing. Good song
Thanks for sharing!
It makes me sad seeing people to still use plastic.
Would be nice to see that changed permanently.
