"The sunshine paradise of Canada"....yeah right nd as you put it..."I don't know how we got so luck". Admittedly, when it's sunny in N.S....it's very sunny with crystal clear blue skies unmatched by any.
Hello!! You guys showed up on my RUclips feed and it makes me so happy that people are exploring my own backyard. Nova Scotia can sometimes be so underrated and you both seem to do a great job of showing how beautiful my home province truly is:) Love from a fellow Nova Scotian🤗
Thank you very much Chelsea! That means so much to us coming from a local. We had a great time visiting Nova Scotia these past two summers and hope to make it 3 in a row next year.
Wishing for the weather you were blessed with, when I visit soon. Preparing myself for cloudy, rainy weather so I won’t be disappointed. Love your videos so much!
Another spendid video from 2 of the cutest. Very interesting about shipping the sand back to Wales, and the color in those rocks was just gorgeous. Thanks as always you two, so enjoyable and cheerful to watch during these odd-ball times we're living in.
Just discovered your channel, I hope to see more videos, as these are really well done, informative, and give me more places to look into for future explorations! Thanks!
Thanks for sharing your best day of NS. We are planning our future trip there hopefully this year! Excited to finally get to explore more of Canada. LaHave Islands looked like a great place to spend some beach time with the family, but we love adventure and checking out unique and wild spots so I loved that you guys went to The Ovens and what that experience all entailed.
Hola!!! Que suerte tenemos nuevos videos para.ver, ya estamos volviendo a ver x 2 o 3 vez los videos anteriores xq seguimos en cuarentena y en el peor momento!!! Gracias xq son videos maravillosos y entretenidos. Besoss
Hi !! very nice video !! You show Canada in a beautiful way !! You are true ambassadors of your country! Thanks to your videos and channel I really want to visit Canada when I can travel again. Greetings from Buenos Aires !
Everytime you mention a place, i would check google maps to see where it is. It's amazing to see what these parts of the world have to offer. Thank you and always looking forward to more of your travels. ❤🇨🇦
Amazing video, so fun to watch! So happy you two enjoyed Nova Scotia, it has been my ocean playground since I moved here. It is truly a magical place, and the waters get much warmer for swimming during July-August :) You'll find people of all ages swimming for hours!
I really love your videos guys! Recently found this channel, from your spanish channel, and i just wanna say i love all You show us and the way that explain. My English is not so good, I guess that Samuel feel when he speak spanish hahaha! Best regards from 🇦🇷
Hello there! I stumbled upon your videos while watching another duo road tripping through my home province of Nova Scotia. I wanted to say thank you for highlighting Nova Scotia and showing your subscribers how gorgeous our Ocean Playground is! I also wanted to mention.... Moon Mist Ice Cream, the ice cream that was mentioned as being for kids, is actually only found in Atlantic Canada (for the most part). The name implies it is out of this world -- Moon Mist is a combination of banana, grape and bubblegum flavours and is popular as a flavour for many other things too. You can even get it in cheesecake form! For some Nova Scotians, it is THE ice cream flavour of Nova Scotia. :) Cheers!
Looks like you had a wonderful time. I just stumbled onto this channel (added to my subscription list) and have to check out some more of your videos. I live near Halifax now but this "Best Day" video brought back some familiar territory. You were in East LaHave just before crossing the river on the ferry - my home was the next community of Middle LaHave. The Ovens Park pictures brought back memories - my father was the contractor for the original owner of the park, Oscar Young, and I spent a lot of time there as a child when he was working in the park. In your video a bit past the Tucker's Tunnel segment, you went down a long stairs to a concrete platform outside one of the caves (I believe it was Cannon Cave). A story about this location is that Oscar Young wanted to construct some sort of "bridge" out from that platform so visitors could look up into the mouth of the cave. Two attempts were made to construct bridges but each time winter storms smashed them away, so he gave up that idea. The second was in 1960. I have a few pictures from those days of the bridges under construction - if you're interested, contact me through my website rodcorkum.weebly.com and I'll send them to you. I have to watch your Lunenburg video next - my Great (x5) Grandfather was one of the first settlers there in 1753. Some history about that on my web site genealogy page.
Holaa Chicooo.. Que bello video, son lugares hermosisimos amo la naturaleza, como que de repente me decía apareciera un oso por ahi, hay que sustos.. Se les quiere mucho un abrazo desde el sur de Chile.
Great video!! Love it. Nova Scotia is my favourite province... but I'm a little biased ;) I've actually still never been able to get to the Ovens. Looks like such a beautiful spot and I can't wait to visit someday.
Thank you for these videos of the Maritimes. I miss my home NB so much. Because of you I ordered my own East Coast t shirt 😁. By the way, have you ever produced a video about Nantucket? I’d love to see that place
Lovely vid Guys! Got relatives that lived in Halifax! Your vid has given me idea's for when this covid thing passes! My two visits to canada has made me think I could easily live their! Can"t wait until your next vid :0)
It looks like you hit this area during low tide , meaning wider beaches but not the punching waves that slam up the sea caves and tunnels at the Ovens ! Aren't the colours of the rocks at the Ovens sublime ?
Another great vlog of your trip. I've been in that area dozens of times and I've never made it to the Ovens yet--I'm going to go now! Ocean swimming in Nova Scotia in August and September is awesome. It's warmer on the Northumberland shore on either side of the province but it is actually good there too. Some days are better than others but you would acclimate to the temperature very quick if you just dive in :) (I bet you're thinking no how no way...just do it!) I've often swam in that area in October as well. I hope you checked for ticks after brushing that long grass at Hirtlle's Beach. Beautiful area but it is tick central in NS unfortunately.
Plinio Jr. (Lo pueden ver en mi foto de perfil) no puede ver sus videos, pero se ve que disfruta mucho sus voces, abre mucho sus ojos y sonríe!! Que felicidad!!
Haven't tuned in for ages guys, but it's good to see you having such a good time. I really need to get put to the east coast of the motherland, don't I?
Great to hear from you Brendan! How are things these days? Indeed, you definitely have to come out here sometime. The hidden jewel of the motherland ;)
You will have to self isolate for 14 days immediately after arriving from outside the Atlantic region. Folks who fail to, do get reported and the. Enjoy a $1000 fine.
