      @@LifeWellRidden Got everything installed and it feels like a different bike! Your video made the PCV part extremely simple so thank you for that. But definitely add the Rotty intake to your list, it’s absolutely worth it. Look forward to the vid tomorrow!

      @@Colt-Forty5 how difficult was the install of the air intake?

    • @Colt-Forty5
      @Colt-Forty5 2 года назад

      @@LifeWellRidden Surprisingly easy following their install video! I’d say you can do it in an hour or less since you’re used to taking everything apart already. Assembling the base plate will be about 15 min of that time. And no hardware under the seat is reused so you don’t have to keep track of anything other than our side panel screws!

    i got a polisport covers for the swingarm and they come with a sponge tape to put between the cover and swingarm because the covers will move a little and mark the swingarm.

    Why didn’t you measure out, where the hole should be before drilling? Locktite?

    • @LifeWellRidden
      @LifeWellRidden  2 года назад

      Hindsight is 20/20! Haha I figured I would have to take most of it off and just eye balled it, when looking at it installed, you don’t see any of the cutting but every time I use the stand it scrapes on the carbon.. I have to figure that out now!
      And I always heard that using locktite on these pins would make them weaker.. I locktite everything else but the said since they are so light and under so much stress by the stand, if they get stuck then you can break them by trying to get them out, whether that’s true or not 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Cool vid bro! I have the plastic skid plate on my 690, and only the 2 bolts at the front of the skid plate that screw to the frame need to come out to remove the skid plate

      Thanks man! And I figure I’m not going off road so let’s bling it up a bit! I’m sure the first rock/road debris I encounter will destroy the damn thing haha but I’m still trying to figure out the best way because it dosent work like that.. (I may just be an idiot) but it seems like I need too sharp of an angle to leave the rear attached to the plugs.. I’ll keep working it and see where it goes!
