I have tried these steps over and over again, and I cannot get a add task to work correctly with todo. Does this still function correctly with the latest iOS?
@@nigelstott3650 Hi Nigel. Do you mean within the Shortcuts app? Or somewhere else? Oddly, this function used to work when I was using my work Microsoft account. It stopped working when I switched to my personal Microsoft account. I think that has something to do with it?
This can be done rather easily look at menu at 1:26 where it says date and time simply click and select “ask each time”. Siri will now ask what time you would like after you tell her the task.
This solved a huge annoyance for me. Thank you! Worked on iOS 15
This was super helpful, thank you Flow State!
Glad it was useful - thank you! 🙏
Thanks !
No problem - hope you found it useful!

Hey Thomas. I’ve just tested this on the latest iOS and it still works fine? Maybe check you can see the shortcut in Siri Shortcuts first.

The Add Task Siri command keeps putting the task into Apple's Reminders app instead of Todo.
@@ThomasBricker it only seem to work if you wait for Siri response first... if say it all at once, it goes to the Reminders app
Does anyone have updated instructions? The app settings no longer has Siri shortcut option
Hopefully you found the solution to this but if not then: Open the todo app. Click on your name at the top. Scroll down to "Siri Shortcuts"

I wish Siri could let us add a date and time for Microsoft to-do tasks

Just use reminders via Siri that’s already I’m IOS
