I watched this video yesterday because I was intrigued on how it works. This morning I figured I'd give it a shot just to see how it worked. I ended up taking down a higher leveled team of Beta Ray Bill (5 covers - 3Green 2Blue), Mr. Sinister (1Blue,1Purple) and 3* Cyclops. IF wasn't too far from death when all of sudden they didn't get another turn as I was able to swap, match, rinse, repeat all way down to hitting Mr. Sinister with one last Polarizing Force to end it. Really awesome, thanks for the instructional video.
Interesting configuration of characters, see these characters are usually arranged around Scarlet witch, cause she is quite the devastating character at 3-star level. So I either play Iron fist, Luke, and Scarlet, Or Magneto, Quicksilver, and Scarlet. I have tried the team and it's a really nice twist on my 5 go-to characters. It really feels like this team was sitting in my blindspot. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
It still works today, I had a battle today vs Jessica Jones, Rocket and Groot and Captain America and I killed them all in 1 TURN. They did not even made one match... Got a 5 er purple and got black, added black, matched another 5er and it went on and on... Really nice!
When I was in 3 star land, I ran this team but with Kamala Khan, rather than Magneto. If you use the team correctly, using Iron First to make black tiles and using Quicksilver's black to feed even more black and purple, and can *almost* create infinites but with the added bonus of having Khan constantly healing. I used this team to build myself up to 4 star land... dood!
I forgot to mention, the key to making it *almost* and infinite is to try and get 3 or 4 blue tile matches to lower the cost of Quickslivers powers then keep focusing on purple, and always using purple to use iron fist purple to create black gems. Then using those black gems to either go for match 5 purples or match 5 blacks or the highest of those 2 colors you can get at the time. Just keep repeating the process. There were times where I would start matches with less than 20% health with this team but within a few rounds, the whole team would be at full health thanks to Khan's constant healing. Really saved a lot on health packs with this team... dood!
Here's one that I've read a few lists and the general consensus is, he's a little meh because his first 2 powers tend to work against each other. That would be 3* Punisher. I like challenging concepts LOL I was thinking along the lines of putting him with someone who can deal team damage in order to set him up for his red ability. At the moment I neither have him nor anyone else powered up enough to pull anything like that off, at least not consistently. His red has to be at 5 otherwise you really have to whittle the opponent down enough to matter. I think it's 20 or 25% health to automatically drop them as opposed to only 40% at level 5.
Use Luke Cage and you'll have the rainbow effect. You'll be working towards every color (Blue - Strange's stun; Purple - Strange's special tile removal; Yellow - Cage's big punch; Black - Cage's Combo Punch; Green - Thor's team damage dealer; Yellow - Create green tiles for Thor; Red - Create yellow tiles for Thor or Luke Cage. You will also have the awesome passive abilities from Dr. Strange (Damage enemy team and heal your team) and Luke Cage (Protect Tiles)
MPQ Mastery I really enjoy your videos. I especially love the ones you create using characters yet to be created. One of the things I am looking forward to is when they start introducing X-Factor Multiple Man in particular. I could see him being a tremendous support and feeder!!

This team actually conflicts with each other quite a bit. 1. Iron Fist "can" feed QS, but why would you want to? You can do significantly more by saving up 12 black and just punching them with a 5-cost purple dealing ~3.5-4k. 2. Magneto's red destroy's QS speed tiles essentially nullifying his whole kit (including his AP reduction and damaging blue). So you have to choose between keeping QS relevant, or doing lots of damage with your ONLY red. 3. With Iron Fist converting much of the board to black, you are actually reducing the number of red and blue tiles, weakening Magneto's Blue. I guess the strat here is to hope it leads to a cascade and having more Blue and red fall, but that relies purely on RNG and luck. 4. This team is kind of squishy and slow. The only real battery here is Iron Fist, and that's only to fuel QS's black (which you mention), which is not very reliable. QS's black is base cost 9, which means your team relies on getting 9 black with an ideal board just to be able to make a 5-match? Why not just use IM40 at that point. His yellow costs 6 and produces double the Blue and red without messing with the board and relying on luck. Magneto and Iron fist are very strong individually and complement each other's colors well, but Quicksilver won't do anything in that team if you plan to play it optimally. Why not swap him out for someone like Luke Cage. LC has a passive red which always guarantees a protect tile which can mitigate damage. His yellow is a huge nuke which means you don't have to rely on Mags yellow (which is lackluster anyway). His Black ability is actually worth fueling, especially if you have a lot of Black saved up.
I mention most of the things you talk about in the video, but I'd say to keep in mind that not everyone has every character or even if they do, maybe they don't have enough covers to make them viable. What I'm attempting to do is to offer other interesting teams. Not everyone's play experience will be 100% optimal, but this team served me well (and still does) for a long time before I found other team-ups with 4 and 5 star characters. All that said, your alterations aren't bad ones and your points are valid. I think it also depends on your gameplay style. I love to find ways to control the board, which is why focusing on the purple -> black fueling strategy works for me. Damage is secondary to "fun to play" imo.
I use the iron fist and quick silver with Scarlet Witch. Those 3 are almost unbeatable; although, groot, hela, and kitty will challenge them to the point that heal packets will be necessary after the fight. I use this team against any major battle, especially boss fights like Thanos. Basic strategy is always collect purple. Use black to match purple. If a purple match isn't available, match blue and green to reduce the AP requirement for Quicksilver's black power.
most of the time, the battle is over after Scarlett Witch's first passive to create purple is completed (about 4 or 5 turns). In rare cases, I've defeated teams with the enemy team only making 1 move, lol.

Read that gambit 3* and jubilee have or are kinda crappy...both use charged tiles though.. and I read that 4* Thor goddess was nerfed and most don't like her noww but some say she isn't so bad... I'm a bit of a veteran player myself check me out or my Alliance. Hydra Pawns My name is Red Skull Pawn. Here's an idea for a 3* team Get this.... Ragnarok at 5/5/3 Kamala Khan at 5/5/3 Spider-man at 4/5/4. Surprisingly superior synergy also you make Ragnarok Hella useful. His green actually worth using Spam Spidey blue to stun multiple enemies while Kamala heals. Also Rags red feeds Spidey blue. Kamala feeds Rags. Spidey triggers tons of heal and defense.
I have two main synergy teams that do most of my work. Wolverine, Daken, Original Black Widow has immense survivability, ap manipulation, strike tile generation, and nukes for days. Best to focus on green/purple early, but as the game goes on all colors are at least somewhat relevant. Other team is storm/magneto/thor. This team has powers in a wide range of colors, most of which generate AP for other colors, or have epic stun that hurts the entire enemy team. Some people prefer hawkeye to thor because of his passive whenever you make a a five match, but I feel the ability of thor to pull the combo more often/reliably is more important than making it bigger.
I really into Dr.Strange 3*. I just recently started to cover him up(still missin a single purple cover at least to spend team up point on him...) , but I also think forward, what team should I use with him. Maybe Thanos and 4/3 star Luke Cage?
Thanos and strange is often considered one of the best combos for clearing nodes, and cage is good for conserving medpaks/has useful attack skills. It's a good team.
I have been playing MPQ from the start of the game and I think you are not using some of the powers on your teams to there fullest potential. Quicksilver is limiting the cascade of Magnetos red and you will kill Quicksilvers aoe and make his black/green cost more. There are better ways to do what you are trying to do. On one of your other teams why use Mr. FF when you could use a good champ like Peggy Thor or even Gwen and at 3* you could even use Dr. Strange. If you would like to talk about teams and ideas let me know.

I really like using the 3 star Thor, alongside Dr. Strange. I just haven’t figured out the perfect third character

I've been working on that here and there. I'd say always with Force Wolvie, but I haven't found a good third.

My combos: iron fist 3* 3/5/5 + scarlet witch 5/3/5 + cyclops 3* 5/3/5, patch 5/3/5 + daken 3* 5/4/4 + loki 5/3/5, im40 5/3/5 + strange 5/3/5 + kamala 5/3/5, deadpool 5/5/3 + patch 5/3/5 + im40 3/5/5
Actually I have all three of these characters but none of them are leveled up got to get more cards for them
The more covers the better. Videos take time but I have lots of them coming down the line. I’ll see what other 3 star teams I can come up with
