That has to be the best retro-games shop in the country. The shop even has GX4000 games. Back in the 90's Virgin, HMV, Electronic Boutique never has a selection like that. What I did back then was buy the games I wanted in my town centre then I would buy a weekend London Travelcard for £5 and go to the West-End or the next town to see what games were there. Back in the 90's & early 2000's nobody had massive game collections unless they were Rich. A £60 game back then is £130 to £170 today. But the cost of living was 3 to 5 times cheaper 30 years ago so it was a better deal than today, but obviously at the time you don't see it like that. It's only when you look back that you see it.
Awesome store, love visiting this place once every couple of months to pick up a few titles. Feel like a kid in a sweet shop 😆😆

I have that same Genesis version of X-Men 2 Clone Wars, I remember buying it as a kid from a local game shop, and asking the guy if he was sure it would play on my UK Megadrive, as I'd never seen a US game in person before. It played fine, and is still in my possession probably 25 years later!
The Genesis game played fine on your Mega Drive? I thought it was only games prior to 1993? That’s amazing 🤩
So jealous of the UK shops, we dont have anything here in Ireland really. I might travel over at some point - it would be great to support these shops instead of CEX.
I have porkys haunted holiday. A late release well worth a look. I try to collect all the late releases because the storage on the carts was increased to compete with ps1 and saturn. Xmen 2 genesis I have also, swapped cardboard box for clamshell. Clamshell cases ran out in usa hence the switch over to cardboard.

@TheGebs24 I have two of them! Amiga fan since my first 500 back when new! Got a large Neo Geo pocket collection, sadly never took off as had some great games
@@darrenrussell8980 Yeah it’s odd that the Pocket never took off. Long live the Amiga though. I have loads of Amiga content on my channel
I’ve always kept my copy of X-men 2 partially for the shiny box art. Though it does come in the flimsy cardboard box sega of america switched to.

Madden “American” Football or sports games in general for the Sega Genesis (MegaDrive) are very inexpensive in the USA usually $5-$15 USD complete in box. John Madden Football Championship Edition being the exception costing over $100 USD

Interesting to see those loose Amstrad GX4000 carts, and I'm a big fan of Pac-Attack. Porky Pig on the SNES has a few levels where there is a random weather system - you can play the game and that level looks different with wind, rain, snow and so on. Wheel of Fortune for the NES was actually developed in the UK by Rare. That Sleepwalker CD32 was in nice condition, it's a fun game.
You have great attention to details on this GX4000 carts 👏👏👏👏

@@TheGebs24 UK, I'm two mins away from the retro game and movie store in Sheffield. The Mega Drive was my first console after my C64. Still have them both all original packaging. Madden is probably my #1 all time franchise. The Mrs bought me NHL 94 a couple of years back too, that was a banger that I borrowed off a kid from school back in the day.
No snes or genesis game should cost more than $20. I think most of the second hand prices for retro games are way too high. Retro games Should be dirt cheap at this point.

Another awesome retro game shop it's absolutely amazing lovely mint condition games. The porky pig game looks awesome not bad price either, I have the killer instinct black cartridge it's my favourite fighting SNES game and loved the turtles tournament fighters back in the day too 😊❤

After watching this I immediately google mapped doorway to Dorkness.. 3.5 hours away.... has to be done lol. Love this cartridge based episode. I got Chaotix a few years ago but spent extra for the manual. ...alot extra to be CIB. Did you get the XMen 2 game, I got it but the free comic was missing.
Knuckles Chaotix, say what you want but the game had a AAA soundtrack.
Fantastic stock in that store. Do you know if they'll be visiting the Birmingham Gaming Market in April ? I believe they went there previously.

2:45 Doom was my 1st video-game of all-times for Windows 95, I don't remember playing that SNES Doom, but I had Quake 64 for Nintendo 64. Lots of retro-games in this video.

love to see the obscure NTSC titles.......Haunted Holiday is available on PAL, and the games are way, way waaaaaayyyyyy overpriced i imagine she walks in films a load of content then acutally buys nothing, or a £5 game. seems to be the pattern for most of these youtubers now they do my head in

@@TheGebs24 TMNT HyperStone Heist lol the best game in the entire TMNT series (in my opinion) … Bucky O’Hare (NES) Tinhead (Genesis) and CRUEBALL (Genesis) … a Motley Crue based pinball game. I mean MEGA Drive for the folks across the pond.
