    Top 5 paid wide receivers of all time. Fitzgerald, megatron, andre johnson, moss, ODBJ, steve smith. The only ring is ODBJ and this was Beckhams contract - $500K signing bonus, $750K salary and up to $3 million in team-based incentives. big money recievers don't win trophies, it jacks up the cap.

    I always figured a major benefit to signing decent QBs to massive contracts is so you don't have to sign role players to massive contracts, too. Good WRs are a dime a dozen. If Burrow is truly good, he should never need one of these "great" cap syphoners. That's why Burrow gets paid. I'd rather have a great TE and a cast of decent WRs rather than a great WR and a cast of decent WRs.
    Build the trenches, build the defense, and surround Burrow with good, affordable talent.

  • @NathanDean79
    @NathanDean79 25 дней назад +2

    The only reason Jefferson has been more productive than Chase is easy. Because Jefferson didn’t have the caliber of WRs playing beside him that Chase does. The Vikings didn’t have anyone nearly as good as Higgins. And I’m pretty confident in saying that for the last 3 years Tyler Boyd was THE BEST WR3 in the NFL. Boyd was a 2 on most NFL teams. That is also why CD Lamb was more productive last year. All he had was an old washed up Brandin Cooks and Michel Gallup who I don’t even know was still on the team. If Chase was on the Vikings or Cowboys he would have 1800 yards. And in 2021 Chase caught 1 pass in game 17 and then came out. He was 18 yards from that Bengals record and he went in for exactly 1 series and caught 1 pass. And also people do t realize this but Bengals fans should all know in 2021 ALL the starter didn’t even dress out except for Chase to catch that 1 pass. So Burrow only played 16 games that year. In 2022 one of their games was canceled so the whole team only had 16 games. Burrow has yet to play a full 17 game schedule which he could have and would have in 2021 and 2022 but for the reasons I just listed could not. Once we get a season, and that is this season, we get a full 17 games of Burrow, Chase, and Higgins the numbers are going to be fucking absurd. I can see Burrow throwing 50 tds and over 5000 yards well over 5000 yards and Chase haveing 1690+ yards and 18-20 tds and Tee having 1300 and 11 tds. For this season I’m picking Burrow to win MVP and Super Bowl MVP. Jamar might get offensive player of the year. Burrow will have 48 tds and 5200 yards with 9 or less interceptions.

    @NathanDean79 25 дней назад

    If you told all GMs and Head coaches that they could have either Chase or CD Lamb I’m pretty confident that at least 30 or the 32 would take Chase. If you told them they could have either Chase or Jefferson I believe that at least 22 would take Chase. With Lamb I think all of them would take Chase over him and the majority would take Chase over Jefferson. I don’t give a dam what Lambs number looked like this year. Jamar Chase is faster and stronger than Lamb. And he is only about an inch shorter than Lamb. Jefferson and Chase are really different types of WRs. Jefferson is more like Lamb accept Jefferson is still faster than lamb a better route runner and is just better than Lamb is. Chase in my opinion is better than both of them. Let me put it this way. If Chase was 4 inches taller and weighed 25 pounds more he would be Megatron. That is the type of player we are dealing with here. DK Metcalf so Megatron light. I think right now the best WRs in the league are in this order. Jefferson, Tyrek Hill, and Jamar Chase. After this coming up season I believe Chase will be right on Jefferson’s heals and may even surpass him if he wins Offensive player of the year like I think he will and 1st team All Pro.

  • @NathanDean79

    No Chase wasn’t offensive player of the year. Yet. Jefferson also was not Rookie of the year. And Jefferson plays what has been the last 4 years a weak ass division. Jefferson also plays in the much weaker conference. The only throwing that Jefferson has done that Chase hasn’t is Chase has 1 All Pro Selections and Jefferson has 3. They both made the pro bowl 3 times. If Chase had went to the Vikings with their lack of talent at WR he would have an 1800 yard season. Jefferson also in 4 years has played in 1 playoff game lol. The most TDs Jefferson has had In a season in 10. Jefferson had played 12 MORE games than Chase has but only has 1 more td than Chase has. Jefferson has 30 career TDs in 4 years of play. Chase has 29 tds in 3 years of play. It’s not just about yards it’s about points. Jefferson 1 playoff game. Chase has played in 7 playoff games 1 Super Bowl and 2 AFC championships. In the hardest division in the NFL in the hardest conference in the NFL. The Vikings and Bengals have met I think just 2 time since 2021 and that was the first game of the year in 2021. The Bengals won both of those games.

    Even if you lock Chase up to a long-term deal, he'll just demand a trade or restructure before it's over. You see it all the time, a player agrees to a contract, plays a few years on it, sees others making more, demands a trade or restructure. It's funny though, when they say they outperformed their contract they want more money, but they never give money back when they underperform.
