"I GOTTA GET A REALLY ICONIC COOL OLD VAN OR SOMETHING TO TRAVEL IN IF I'M GONNA DO IT, CAUSE I LIKE OLD SCHOOL STUFF" ..,... that's not the iconic part, how iconic and old school is it to be loved and enjoyed so much by someone you don't know that loves, admires, and respects what you do so much that they decide to gift to you, more than likely something that was their pride and joy at one time or another in the hopes that you would get the same enjoyment that they did when it was theirs, NOW THAT'S OLD SCHOOL, much love to the person for sharing their piece of Americana for another generation to enjoy and add to its folklore. Drew ,love your channel, way back in the early 70's I did pretty much the same thing ...66 VW camper bus ..top speed ..a blistering 52 mph Canada to Puerto Vallarta ,west coast to Louisiana ...alot of folks didn't like us hippie type ... some loved us

Wow, that brings back so many memories of when I was a kid. My brother had one just like it, same colors even! We drove all the way from Delaware to New Orleans in it, it was NOT a quiet, nor a smooth ride🤣 We froze halfway, until we got to Alabama, it was in February.
Ha ha I had a 70 years ago. These things all don’t have heaters?
