The reason why PS and PS2 controllers aren't here is because they are pretty much the same as the PS3 However, we could have seen the very first PS controller (the one without the dual analog sticks)
Believe it or not, but the GameCube originated the joystick layout that Microsoft would copy for the Xbox controller. Of course this is strictly by the fact that GameCube came out before Xbox.

It is, as the handles behind it are quite high. Your thumb will land the analog stick with a little bend.
