Will this be fun for a new player that has not played PoE? Is it more of a single player game or? Any information about the goal of the game and some information on single/multiplayer and what the goals are would be appriciated :)
The game is balanced around trade with others, not single player. Because of this the solo mode is more challenging, especially for noobs (I have around 1,080 hours and I'm still essentially a noob... it's a very deep and complex game). I wouldn't really say there are specific goals, goals differ per person, it's a choose your content kind of game. There are a bunch of different mechanics and builds to try, pinnacle bosses, and seasonal challenges.
Theres campaing and end game, most build guides focus on end game, some guides have some leveling strategies (gems to use etc). You should follow a build guide from major sites or big players, up to act 3 you should just rush it, theres not much here that good wasting time, act 3 onwards you start to find better gear (4 slots linked) and you can make your skills more powerfull, the most important stats on gear is life and resistances, on weapons usually phys/ ele dmg and atak cast speed depending on what you doing. You can and most people do go solo all the campain, "multiplayer" means most likely trading stuff here and there, not a important thing for new players You can vendor everything gear related you find prior to mapping unless its an unique or have some really good stat (75% more on main stat)
Awesome choices! Elemental hit of spectrum (probably warden, though), EB Inquis and Locus Mine Power Siphon are currently part of my list of considerations, alongside Molten Strike of Zenith Jugg
I haven´t played PoE much. Played some D4 and thought Rogue is fun. I like mobility and high skill cap, don´t mind beeing squishy. Anything you would recommend as a starter this season for me?
Captain Lance Sanctum build is ONLY sanctum. You don't kill kitava in act 10, and you don't play new things for a few days. In other words, Sanctum jail. But it is what it is, Sanctum enjoyers appreciate it
@@killshotgg9631 Not meant for, sure. Especially early. But its meant to be a shell to transition to a tri stack build and clear t17s and such. So i wouldnt say ONLY sanctum...but still it is a sanctum build XD. Jus nitpicking
I've been practicing a start with Frost blades, and it's very strong on trickster. But im finding holes in it here and there, nothing major, but with bone shatter and other melee skills expected to be almost op I can't pass up the chance to have serious damage and also not die.... I'm undecided tho as of right now...
Well shoot, when I saw the league changes I instantly thought Lightening Strike Slayer or Warden, but it looks like that was too obvious lol. Frost Blades Slayer or Warden should work though. Good picks overall.
