Thanks! 10/10 would recommend. I put this one together as a trainer to supplement the other calibers I shoot and it’s quickly become one of my favorite rifles to shoot, if not my favorite. Keep up with me if you get one built out, would love to hear about it!
I noticed you have that front NVG mount on the 457 and this gun, what is it and how did you install them, did it require drilling or sending to a gunsmith ?
It’s a Badger EFR. Yes, it requires milling a pocket in the front of the stock and bedding the lower portion of the mount in. The rail bolts on top and has the barrel channel cut between the two halves
Would you be interested in a very similar Atlas tactical? Adjustable Trigger for ounces. Razor HD gen 3 6-36x56. Barrel .223 . Muzzle break 5round mag. Bipod. Im not sure exactly the details but it was built for competition. It looks and built what sounds to be exactly like this with a different pattern I would like to send puctures but not given the option here.
Curious if you ever push 55gr through this rifle and if you notice any decrease in accuracy with the 1:7 twist? I understand the faster twist stabilizes the heavier bullets but will it affect the lighter projectiles' accuracy?
I’ve shot some bulk 55 grain 223 through it and it will shoot anywhere from 1”-2” usually. Occasional flyer that will open the group. No lighter match loadings though.
Hi my name is Rodrigo I had my 223 rifle and live alone I had a tree accident and they came with a Ambulance and decided to take my r,ifle supposed to be. For safe keeping but now they don't want to give back even thoo it was secured can you help with your knowledge
@@hkrifleworks it should a friend of mine built him self one and it is amazing what a 85.5 grain berger can do. His 12 year old son has regular 223 he hand loads 80 bergers. The damn kid teaches me stuff about reloading i payed him $350 to anneal 2k 308 brass he stayed up till 4am doing it i threw him 2k rounds of 168 speer gold dots for his deer/elk
Great looking rifle!.. I've been thinking about having a local smith work up a 223 bolt gun for me.

I was curious how much a 223 like the one you are showing cost to build?
These get pretty pricey. 5-6k maybe
