- This movie is my first attempt at making a full-blown animated short film using Blender.
The story follows a kid who feels limited by the boundaries of his parents and wants to explore further from home but has to be cautious of a massive looming ancient enemy beyond the walls of his home.

Don't even wanna begin to imagine how much time and effort must have gone into the animation alone. It's obvious how much heart was put into this film. Truly phenomenal work.

@@animationpro6681 no…this is incorrect and I’m unsure why you’d just assume a random time frame. The artist specified in a separate comment that this took 17 months in total. Don’t downplay how much effort went into this by guessing the time it took.

The stumbles the "kid" makes while walking/running alone are insanely awesome and fluid.
The adult red one has a little flickering going on on the front & bk left arms, underneath - looks like gold ribbon
And the material on the top&bottom 1/2 of the red guys head would be perfect for cast iron cookware.
5 stars of five: amazing CG, great models, perfect textures, impressive animations. But also a well-written story, which is very rare to find in these shorts.

I have no connection to this creator, but I love indepedent creative films that are more adventurous than something like a summer blockbuster, I really hope people ca support the creation of this sort of thing by taking a second to give it a like and give it a chance if they just clicked on it.

This is such an impressive short film. I'm not saying it is perfect... the story isn't very clear and the 3D modeling far from perfect but damn. This is so much work. I love the camera animation!! Good job. Definitely deserves my sub.

Truly phenomenal work, never a dull moment. You could feel the emotional pull throughout, and the love the family felt for one another. Loved the shot with the 'monster' and the main character finally connecting. Really well done, you could see the heart and soul put into this. Also the music was wonderful! definitely captured the emotion and kept the audience pulled into the story. Well done!!!

Because I failed to spend enough time in the planning phase. I should have done animation tests after finishing character design to see how it actually plays out instead of going straight into working on final shots

The three spider robots are usually afraid of that insane massive creature trying to kill them in a worse thingy on earth.
I remember just staying up till like 4 or 5 am and then I just heard the birds chirping and I was like that feeling you get when you know you messed up but I think it was not a school night
