    BRICS seeks to create a new currency, considering gold's historical role as a store of value and medium of exchange. However, the functionality and acceptance of a gold-backed currency in the current global financial system are uncertain. Creating a new currency requires careful consideration of economic, political, and logistical factors.

    • @Mohaimam316
      @Mohaimam316 Год назад +3

      The discussions and proposals surrounding BRICS nations' potential use of gold are intriguing. People choose to buy gold for various reasons, such as its historical role as a store of value and medium of exchange, its potential as a hedge against inflation or currency devaluation, and its relative scarcity compared to other commodities. Gold also offers diversification benefits to investment portfolios due to its low correlation with stocks and bonds. However, investing in gold carries risks and may not be suitable for everyone. Investors should carefully evaluate their objectives, risk tolerance, and financial situation before deciding.

      I find gold investment reliable and aim to buy more to recover losses. Silver is also a good investment but differs from my collectibles. Clear investment goals and education are crucial. I work with Catherine Morrison Evans, a SEC-regulated financial consultant. Starting with modest investments, I accumulated nearly $799k over time.

    Love your thinking over the last 10 years. After my eye-opening 6 week visit to China in 2015 I started following your work. Great thinker and totally agree. If only the Western nations would embrace this change instead of fighting it, they would soon realize tha, in the long term, t it is good for the whole world's people including their own citizens. People have always called me naïve for my opinions and dreams for the world so it has been very comforting for me, at age 78, to have found a real scholar with whom I share similar views. Thank you.

    Finally developing countries have some hope or see the light in the tunnel. Thanks for the US who woke everyone up and realized that the West led by the US not only never have intention to work with developing countries but also work against them to keep Western domination at the expenses, misery, suffering, and destruction of other countries including China and other developing countries. By the way, the West led by the US got rich and powerful not by working with other countries but by invading, colonizing, looting, genocide and destroying other countries throughout of history. Whereas China has never invaded any other country nor colonized any country. Rising China not only help improving the life of her own people but people around the world, especially to the developing nations including member countries of the BRICS who used to rely on the 'assistance' from the West, but without much success. Most of them ended up went backward instead forward.

    Today, It is not an exaggeration to consider BRICS a World Organisation of the future; it is not merely for developing countries. Why?
    One reason is the jargon "Developing World " is outdated, imperialistic and even racist. Given the paradigm shifts in geoeconomics, Western set standards and yardsticks of what constitutes wealth of a nation have become irrelevant indeed.
    Next, the key stages of economic development are less nuance today because of unprecedented speed of technological developments in infrastructure, telecommunications, robotics, agriculture, healthcare and housing and how fast these directly impact on the productivity, prosperity and wellness of the majority .
    Lastly, BRICS optimises resource allocation, protect members from exploitative capitalists and thus optimses the competitive advantages of member nations. BRICS is representative of an World organisation because its members have global perspectives. The scale, diversity and pace of its influence on the World is significant.

    Muscle cannot be measured by money anymore. Money is printed freely in the USA, so money/paper is not and cannot be used as food and fuel. The muscle is based on real stuff like food and oil and minerals. Poor countries will not longer want to accept printed paper written as IOU in exchange for their real stuff. I saw Americans have so much resources like shooting a piece of meat bought the supermarket. They could have donated that to Africa, Brazil, where people are hungry. But in America, their resources are so cheap becoz they just print money. People in the 3rd world have had enough. It's a wake up call for ALL Americans.

    For the next 100 years, US will still be the top military in the world with the firepower they have accumulated since the last 100 years. As long as a neutral power like India is there in BRICS, It wont let China be the watchdog. Russia is in the group to rebuild its nation to a standard where it can make a launchpad for itself to seek glory but that is a story of 100 years again. In short, it would be a multipolar world with 3-4 powercenters. I foresee a lot of collaboration in the coming days between US-India on business, technology primarily economics if US doesnt goof up.
