I cant get mine to run below half slow. Gets to the o in slow speed then dies, the only thing i can think of is if the throttle linkage is not set right . Also i have no idea how to tell which model td it is .. my handle and pull cord are the only thing different from yours
@@michaeljsimon when you say "bad" does that mean it is not pulling the rod up to shut off gas flow? The cork is positioned on the rod with a brass pin that goes around the rod....how high up do I put the cork on the rod?

Yes. Your carb has a float inside tied to a rod that seats when full to stop fuel flow. Either your float is bad or rod is not seating.
