I don't understand the motive. Was she just crazy? Was she the ex that never got over the guy and she didn't wanna see him move on? I don't fully understand the ending bc I can't figure out why she killed them.

Yeah, that was strange. Usually servers are annoyed when the restaurant is closing soon. That was a red flag right there that the character should've left.

Initially, I thought the hoodied guy to be a killer,killer of the boyfriend.But the missing advertise and then the sudden twist seemed to be perfectly woven! Great work...

As a bartender who works the closing shift, the "I'll make sure you get some food." at 10 minutes before closing, is all I would've needed to hear before running out of that place.
Quick side note, i would never walk into a place 15 minutes before they close.

I know , right ? I work at the store, so the store is closing down at 11 , and guess what ? «Attention customers! It’s 10:55 , and we will be closing in 5 minutes» and guess what ? Some people act like they are deaf 🧏♀️ and keep shopping 🥴

@@DestinyProTV literally all that happened was a girl walked into an empty diner, discovered her dead boyfriend, gave a haphazard “omg I can’t believe this is happening” reaction, and then a waitress swept the floor. Like come on. So easy to guess that was her boyfriend the entire time too. Literally the only one there and he’s not moving at all and she was supposed to meet him there? Predictable, boring, and not scary. I’ve seen scarier things on TikTok.

There is something about the simplicity of the setting and story that captivated me. I was on edge and unsure if anyone could be trusted, probably like the MC felt, well done! I really hope to see more of this, love this take on modern horror.

That was brilliant and a fantastic lesson: Everyone should know now that you stay in your locked car in front of the empty diner when you see a hooded person and a waitress with Pearl's smile.
I did see it coming, but only after she said "I'll go say something to him." I could see where the most impactful and frightening direction for the story to go from that point was, and I was right to think so!
This feels like a finished film and not at all an amateur stab at a medium

My name is Connor Keefe which made it unsettling when the guy was dead...but even more unsettling when I saw someone with almost the same name as me in the credits. Good movie too

For under 10 minutes, this was superb. Has all the ingredients of a cult horror classic
I didn't expect the hooded guy to be the killer (it would be too obvious), but I didn't see THAT twist, either! Well done! Consider me spooked!
I knew she was the culprit. No one is that calm when they see a suspicious individual sitting down at a booth in a black hoodie not moving, also how she doesn’t just go up to him and greet him as it’s her job as a waitress. And how she just “didn’t want to” call the cops. All red flags.
Honestly sameee. You're smart! I had a strong feeling from the beginning that was her boyfriend and the waitress was lying. I think this is a door to another dimension or some apparitional diner, maybe the alternate dimension exists inside of it, like two diners in one. One is normal, one is the one that houses the supernatural. And the ghost or whatever the being is will posess or take the shape of whatever unsuspecting girl unfortunately finds her way into the diner, is fated to suffer the same end and the cycle continues. What happened to the bf is bc they only use the women.
Also unrelated, or maybe very related, a thought I had. Forgive me if I'm being rude or presumptuous, but you must be black. After all, the black sense and intuition is just so much stronger than the typical white person's. xD

When I was a kid our family would do a lot of road trips and we would stop at these kind of diners and I either found them to be very cozy or verrry creepy! This one was a good one!

Since most of the comments is about the "do not come in at stores or bars, etc. few minutes before closing time" should also applie to phone and chat customer service. I worked as customer service on chat and phone before, and on closing shift, I kid you not, some people call/chat at literal 1 minute before closing! 🤬 C'mon people, understand that everybody wants to go home on the dot! Being in cust service is hard as F, mentally and emotionally, there is pressure from both the customers and our supervisors, managers and our boss's bosses! Your disatisfaction survey affects our incentives, NOT the company, it's us they reprimand for your disatisfaction, even if the complain is about the product and not the customer service! Sorry, had to rant. 😅 But really good short film. 😊
This was so good!❤ And the atmosphere is perfect. Although I will say it would have been even creepier if when the waitress got asked if she was there by her self, she could have said the cook was there also. But it turns out their dead in the back lol It also would have made me a little less suspicious of her.
