You, my DEAR are a life saver. I first searched 7 years ago for any and all repairs/replacement videos on the GC 4.0 and there were like only 3 or 4. NONE on the spark plug replacements so I gave up. Today (11-13-23) I said I gotta search again because my van is telling me "you need to replace my plugs" so I searched YT again. I find you and find that 3 years ago you uploaded this video. Thank you sooo much. This old girl desperately needed this. 🎶 You've got a friend/subscriber in me 🎶 EDIT: Is this for the 2008?

Thanks! I'm 51 and have never attempted a plug change. I watched your video twice, then had the laptop in the shop and would do the work bit by bit after watching each segment. It was a thrill when the van actually started afterwards! Thanks again.

GREAT Video. Two things - I would suggest removing the oil dip stick as it's eazy to smack it and break off the top (I did this.) Also this video is GREAT if you need to change your Camshaft position sensor. As you need to remove the intake, and then it's just right there under the alternator. Thus if you are changing plugs on an old caravan and you have NEVER changed the camshaft position sensor - it's a $15 part and only one 8mm screw. Thus IMHO I HIGHLY suggest you replace that sensor when doing the plugs.

Well well done and because it is a plug thru valve cover I would change all gaskets especially spark plug tube gasket helps keep the oil off the plug . Oil and electricity does not work together at all . Luv the tape over the intake . Easy to follow video . Thanks

Just did this and found my #6 spark plug is fouled horribly, or greatly, with oil. The reading I got on OBD was 0306 and 0206. DANG! 😩 This means the seals are no good but I have no clue as to where the seals are. I hope this is not a lost cause for me.

Every since then it would misfire occasionally after I run it for a bit shut it off to go in a store and come out it would start and then it would stop after driving a couple miles and only on cylinder 3 and now it drives fine from cold until it warms about half way up and then it misfires. Now its cylinder 6 and 3 hasn't been going off on my reader
