Has anyone/a builder figured out alternate uses for these built-in wine cellars? They are lovely but we don’t drink wine. How about book collections? Anything else?
That’s the way many neighborhoods are in the Colorado suburbs. You are on a postage stamp size lot, and looking into your neighbors’ bathrooms. Notice this back in the 80s when these neighborhoods started going up.
I absolutely really love this place and the exterior of it. My most favorite part is the master bathroom and closet. I do love the accent walls and the stone wall before the kitchen area.❤❤❤❤❤
Just be sure that you don't walk around your master bedroom or bathroom in your underwear or naked because everyone in the neighborhood's gonna see you. I will never understand these designs where you have these windows that perfectly line up with your neighbors windows that are 10 feet away.
Timothy?? This house is interesting!! Not as pretty as the other homes You have shown!! But it would be good for someone who likes this style!! Thank You!!
That’s a big price tag to be right on your neighbors and zero privacy out in the yard. Plus there isn’t much property. I do like a lot of the interior features.
A million plus dollar house and you have squeaking hinges ? ? ? If you like it, I guess you like it, but I have to ask, is there something wrong with these people living in Colorado ?
@@marybalfour2872 Nope, not common sense at all, your wrong. Sorry, THAT'S a red flag. THAT WAS LOUD, in this video, that loud is caused by either structural damage( ie. one or more studs pressing down on the head jamb ) and/or shoddy workmanship ( ie. the door wasn't hung correctly ). * If it was JUST new hinges .. THAT is an easy fix, just drive out the hinge pins and coat them with liquid paraffin. And ... IF THAT was case, for the amount of money they're charging for that NEW LUXURY construction ... why didn't they fix it before before putting it on the market. AND IF they didn't ... what else did they cut corners on ?
@alantalbott8385 If you are an expert why don't you call out the builder instead of "these people in Colorado " there's bad craftsmanship in every state.
The house is really modern. I like the design. But the layout is not the most convenient. Beautiful kitchen, but ugly gas stove. Very beautiful interior doors. It is obvious that high-quality materials were used for finishing.
I have no idea why it's priced so high. Walking in straighting the kitchen island? Tiny living room. Ugly kitchen cabinets. Cold interior; not homey at all. Sorry. This was one of the worst.
The price is ridiculous. Are they including all the furnishings in that price?Gotta figure out how to build cheaper houses without setting for ugly finishes, cheap amenities and poor build quality.
It's not Timothy's fault but my God these houses are getting worse and worse on this trip. It would almost be better if you put the kitchen table in the front of the house you got rid of the wine closet and put the couch and TV back there. Plus I never understood these houses with the enormous windows on the side that are 5 feet away from your neighbors windows. No privacy at all.
You're always so enthusiastic about the house you tour. But I have to tell you I hate everything about this house. Very cramped, bad layout, awful cabinets and fixtures. Just all around bad.
No thanks. I wouldn't buy this house for 1/3rd the price. I don't like ANYTHING about this one, and that's rare. I can usually find at least SOMETHING to like about almost any home, but the proximity to the neighboring homes alone would be enough for me to not even get out of my car. If I wanted to be that close to my neighbors, I'd buy a condo, or townhouse.
I suppose this is for late gen x now no longer the younger of that gen down sizing while my geriatric millennials, who are possibly aging up to age 50, are now moving into these downsizing... they are that generation that are closer to gen x and when college education did get you paid without too much college debt that kept you broke... from 65 towards early 2000's.... also easier to make the funds just doing a normal job back in the day... they've saved up and invested... unlike today... and they would purchase something like this in older age... vs their parents... and we middle of the road millennials are not quiet well off enough to get that type of home.... we came in right when the internet was made and college became a debt trap to keep you working for companies not that loyal to you as they wash you out in phase in some new things... we were learning and now gen z reap a reward with the internet being their tool mainly to earn their keep with everyone using it to get paid....but still not really able or wise enough to save up.... middle of the road gen alpha should be able to reign it in... the middle of the road millennials are said to be the generation that will be most poverty generation with the birth of them during a transition time on earned income vs debt to savings capabilities.....LOL
This is probably my favorite small home you've shown, certainly in a long while.
1 million + dollars for a house that’s not even 3000 ft.² is absurd. It must be the area.
Thanks for the video.. I hope you will increase the videos of this type of small houses but not completely open and have privacy.. Thank you
Wow love this home Timothy thank you gor showing god bless Best regards anja

Way too small and close to the neighbors to be worth $1.7M. The living room is barely functional and way too small. Hard pass.
Facts
Nice house Timothy but if I'm gonna pay the price for something like this. I definitely don't want to be that close to my neighbors.

Very odd floor plan on the first floor. I could design this much better.
Nice house Timothy! ❤❤❤❤

I feel like the west is out of touch with what things should cost. I like the house but it is not worth over a million dollars. Maybe 500,000.
Interesting design
Too much money and no property. See right into your neighbor's home.
Just be sure that you don't walk around your master bedroom or bathroom in your underwear or naked because everyone in the neighborhood's gonna see you. I will never understand these designs where you have these windows that perfectly line up with your neighbors windows that are 10 feet away.
You are the best ❤
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻🇺🇸 a winner!
I would do away with wine room and expand the pantry
1.6 mil to your front door be the kitchen. Jesus christ.
😂 I’ve seen 2mil+ homes that do the same
Not my style, but is lovely. I have to agree with the others that it is too pricey for square footage.
Am I the only one who dislikes walnut cabinetry💀?
It had an apartment size living room or probably smaller in some cases there was nothing to like for a million plus.

First !
It is pronounced Poo der river. D in law is from Ft, Collins
For single people with pet's this is enough
I read an article a few days ago... a dog running up open stairs could break a leg if it slides into the open area. Not a good idea to have

Open oven door. I'm the cook.
When are you gonna do more farm videos?
I’ve been tempted to!
I wonder how much the house cost to build. Definitely not 1.7 million

Elevation does that. Plus right now the fall weather is coming in which makes for a rather dry Colorado. I know from living there as a kid.
Don’t worry we are heading to NC starting tomorrow!

Awkward layout, esp the master bath. Hope to see more Colorado homes. Great tour.
