Thanks for your interest. The SB1174 3-Point Snowblower impeller speed is 540RPM. You can learn more about it here: bit.ly/2AffNml, see page 5 for specifications.
I hear ya. My 2 series with basic attachments cost 23,000. Expensive stuff, but where I live it's just a necessity. I just consider it part of my house, and if I ever sell it, I'll sell it with the tractor... and then buy a bigger one!
Wouldn't want to do a long lane with this, you'd probably have a real stiff neck by the time you were done. You'd think they could come up with some way to attach the blower to the front.
@@zfilmmaker Yep. And I would prefer to keep my loader on just in case I need it to get myself unstuck or take care of really wet snow. Good to have options.
Thanks for the question! Generally speaking, a tractor-powered snowblower will move more snow faster than any other solution. Whether you need to clear a long driveway or create a path to your outbuildings, a PTO-driven snowblower is hard to beat. However, not everybody has a snowblower, in which case you might check out “How To Remove Snow 3 Different Ways” at TipsNotebook.com. This video features the use of a front bucket, a rear blade, and/or a front blade. Plus, those are three economical tools you can use all year round. We hope this helps.
I tell ya what man...I have a plow and a rear mounted blower. On my .5 mile long driveway I found that the plow is nice until the mounds you make on the sides start catching snow during blizzards. by February of 2017 the side mounds were over 7 feet tall and I could not even use the plow anymore, so I had to pay hundreds of dollars for someone to come with a blower and blow it out every storm after. Last 2 years I was using a 100hp diesel tractor and rear duel stage blower and that thing is a freaking godsend! I live in rural minnesota and its ALWAYS windy and snowing here,, and that thing throws snow well over 50 feet from my lane. In my opinion you should only use a plow truck for your lot around the house and that's it.
eh, it's your money. As a Farmer I wouldn't waste my money since i'd only be using a front PTO tractor for snow. Everyone here in Minnesota that operates a farm usually has an enclosed cab like a JD-4440 or something like it that will do just fine with a good rear mounted blower.
I've had two 74" snow blowers...my current one is like the implement in this video. Anyway, before using the snow blower, spray the chute, auger, impeller and housing (where the auger is) ,liberally with PAM or something similar.. You can buy other no-stick sprays, but PAM works the best. I did forget to do it before a snow last year.,..boy! Did the chute freeze up! Took me a good 30 minutes to clear it.
I LOVE John Deere and love to work at a dealer when I get older
Very nice machines
How many revolutions per minute is the blower fan turning? 540 rpm?

First like, comment, view!
Harry TheRandom whys that always important to people? I don't get it... Do you get a cookie or something for that?
I'd like a set up like this but with more than 30k just for the tractor, well it's just never going to happen.

Beats using a scraper blade in 2 ft taking 8 hours in reverse lol
There is a way to put a blower on the front but they're showing you a three-point blower in this video
To bad it,s at the wrong end of the tractor.
Most snowblowers sold are rear mount fyi. Very few people have front PTO.

What is the benefit of a snowblower over a plow? I assume it uses way more fuel!

dann baut man ihn eben an den Frontkraftheber, außerdem gibt es Frontier nur in den USA und Kanada.
Rear mounted snow blower is stupid but it beats shoveling!
