Was thinking of selling my SRX before I ship to bootcamp. Haven’t been able to ride in a few years due to the suboptimal snowfall in Maine. Plan to move out to Wyoming after my time in the Corps, I think this video changed my mind on selling it. Can’t beat the sweet sound of those Hauck Stingers
I miss my 2000 ski doo mach z 800 triple triple with dyno port racing pipes clutch kit and c&a skis 1.25 ripsaw and 144 stud boy studs she was a serious ripper!

@@dirtbagliberalsnake5729 never heard that so im not sure .. i just have a 99 srx700 bluehead. n got friends with the red heads.. and i pull away from them with ease..! so i always thought redheads was just less hp

@@terrysavard1026 yes totally different engines. Less power redhead but they are out there with 30k kms wizero rebuilds still running strong.

Loved my 2000SRX700 was by far my favourite sled of all time! Great find Jaret!
I'm pretty sure my brother owned that duplicate or that sled. Was set up for 660s by Jerry Hauck. Went almost 90 in 660. Pulled hard to pipe side though.
My uncle also has a nssr world record in a stick 480 phaser 87.21 mph in a thousand and another nssr plack at 99.99 on an sx 600 twin single.
Redhead sounds better imo, but the SRX is faster tho

The value of these are currently rocketing in Sweden. 2001-2002 models sells for up to $7000. Previous years are going for half.

Just sold my Sidewinder 2017 Se and bought my dad's 2021 SRX .... so Back to the SRX !!!!

I'm going to look at an SRX tomorrow, and the one sled I wish I would've never sold was my 97' VMAX SX 700. It was tough as nails, quick, and the sound of the redhead triple is unmatched in my opinion.

I just got my first 2005 srx 700 triple mountain , I got a good deal on a barn find took some work and got her going she is a blast
Just bought an '02 600 triple vmax w/1400 on the odo!,!! Needs carb cleaning but otherwise mint loving it .....!!
I also brought another 2001 2 weeks ago and can't wait to work on it, even if is is really clean. Would be pleased to share you my story about my introduction to Yamaha triples in 2000 and how I always felt like they are "my snowmobile" ans why my family and me always kept them. Have good time!
Cool story Jared, great to see you got your old sled back. I still know where my old 87 Exciter is that I originally bought in 1990, it’s still running and on the trails. Not looking to get that sled back but I am looking forward to my 2022 SRX this year!
Love those sleds. I am rebuilding my 02 sx viper 700. My carb vale closed somehow and then ran the 3rd cylinder dry and was running on 2 cylinder. So now next year I will have my first sled and ride

got a 21 winder presently, loved my apexs, but i would love to have my 97 vmax 700 red head back, u cant find em mint no more , that thing was damn near impossible to catch on a nice groom trail likly an srx was only thing that could, but ya a few hrs on it it was time to get off n stretch the legs lol
We have a 2000. 900 original miles on it bought new and never lake raced. It is very very nice no tears on seat nothing! We will probably never sell it. It's all factory and looks like show room new. And always ran yamalube in them.
Wish I never sold my '00 SRX, i'd love to buy another if I find the right one. Maybe one day...

Great story ! That's really cool to find your old sled . I had a 1988 Polaris Indy 650 stolen back in 1992. I've been searching for that sled ever since.

How much would you sell your sled, I look & look for SRX. But they're sold before I even contact seller. First in line to buy, if your selling it soon.
I have a Super Clean ‘01 SRX700 and am the original owner. Ohlins front shocks, C&A Pro skis, adjustable transfer rods, and special suspension wheels. Engine and clutches are all OEM. Lake miles only. Get in touch if you are interested.
I bought one of these this year, I have to say that out of all the sleds from this era these are about the worst! I am going to keep it though and let someone I don't really like ride it.
