The scene with Lukas who doesn't want to be your friend seems interesting to me and it's the first time I've seen this cinematic. I wondered if there are more secret cinematics that we've never seen.
they do exist and MCSM Season 3 is possible, however it depends on Mojang being willing to give Telltale or someone else the rights to Story Mode again
If you get the bad ending for episode four, where Lukas leaves on bad terms he isn’t shown with Aiden, Maya, and Gill, (unlike the ending where he leaves on good terms) meaning he probably leaves to spite Jesse in that scenario

You know there was a time where I was one choice away from accidently getting the secret Lukas ending cause I genuinely just wanted to be a jerk to Lukas throughout most of the run without even knowing that this ending existed at the time but when Lukas said all that stuff about not feeling welcome on the team I felt so bad that I just apologised to Lukas to make things right. Crazy now that I think about it.
Decisions that actually affect your relationships with the characters are really cool and I wish that they utilized that more in MCSM. They did do a similar thing with Stella in S2, but I think it was a missed opportunity to not make the decisions regarding characters like Radar and Petra affect their dynamic with Jesse by the end of the story. While you can make significant decisions for them that affect them in isolated moments of the story, it doesn't actually change much in the grand scheme of things.
I think that that’s the reason why MCSM failed in the end to reach older audiences. There wasn’t that much you could do to change the relationships between characters.
Wait, if you dont apologise to lucas then he doesent show up to save you? Wow, the ocelots showing up to help was such an iconic scene for me and to think it can be missed with a singular dialogue option!
If you’re nice to him the whole time and convince him to stay in the cave, he is there anyway and saves you Olivia and axel with the fireworks by himself
I got him without the other ocelots because i was nice to him except for when he “froze” but i guess u was nice enough to keep him along and not look for them
I was never mean to Lukas. No matter what I always respected my man. I also let him go find his friends by choosing the "If your heart is telling you to go, you should go" option even though I hated the other Ocelots/Blaze Rods.
this is the only one with actual long-term impacts to my knowledge, every other character won’t care outside of a particular scene. minecraft story mode was really cool, but I wish more relationships were like this one where they can legitimately sour.
This is how the ENTIRE game should've been. Your choices actually change stuff. This was a cool optional scene, and I'm happy its included. But sadly, like everything else: these choices do not matter in the end, and don't affect anything that could lead to a different ending.
That's the problem with telltale games, and ultimately a portion of why they went under. They relied on other series popularity to sell, meaning development cost was expensive, but the novelty of making choices to determine the outcome of a game wore off when people realized the choices didn't change much. There would possibly be a way they could make a game like that (such as BG3 managing to make all major choices matter across a 100-hour story), but it takes more time than they were willing to put into a product, so they didn't come out as advertised and lost appeal.
What about season 2 where romeos and xaras fate depends on your choice? If you take radar with you you also leave the freds keep folk to an unknown fate, possible death. As well as befriending stella and luna depends entirely on your choices.
I feel like Lukas gets the short end of the stick throughout all of MCSM lol. You can be rude to him in the first 4 episodes, he always gets arrested in episode 5, the YTs always accuse him in episode 6, he gets burned and chipped in episode 7, and he gets killed in episode 8 no matter what. Then in season 2, he doesn't appear much throughout most of the game, since he only really has a major presence in episode 2 (he doesn't appear in episodes 3 and 4, not counting the post-credits scene) and doesn't show up much in episode 1 and 5. Ik that's not his fault bc the VA for him was becoming a parent at the time of season 2 being made but still, poor Lukas man...
One more thing for the rare ending where you’re rude to Lukas. If you keep the potion of Leaping from the witch’s hut and use it to get in the wither storm, Jesse will get sucked up and Axel will pull him down instead.
Lukas is a great friend, him temporarily leaving his friends is ok. But him coming back with his team (aka the ocelots) helping us distract the witherstorm is a true friendship, thats why lukas is my 2nd favorite character.
0:42 if you choose the "that doesnt matter option" then you get to choose if he stays or not, and you re with good terms with him no matter what you pick. You can only be at bad terms with him if you choose the 3rd option
I think it’s devastating that someone as kind as Lucas risked his life to save his friends and they repay him by betraying him in the following episode
I never had to apologize to him so I haven't seen these outcomes. When he shows up his team is a bunch of douchebags but Lukas didn't really do anything specificly bad to Jesse I think. His only "sin" was being a little full of himself. It might have taken him more time to accept Jesse as a leader but he's a pretty neat addition to the team if you treat him kindly.

I love this game for the reason of showing no matter where you come from you gotta know your roots they were losers then all of a sudden saved the world and everyone knows them and loves them they purposely made it so Lucas seemed selfish and self centered especially at the end dimension but then he ended up just wanting to feel helpful and useful in a way like he wasn’t just freeloading and wanted to show the group he can also do this and help save the world I always loved Lucas even when I played this as a 9 year old or whenever the hell this game came out incredible character arc for him too I remember in the mob grinder he ran from all the mobs and left Ruben then felt horrible for what he did and ever since that moment he stepped it up almost like Luigi in the Mario brothers and he was extremely likable imo he was always so sweet and he went about the amulet wrong but it went with his character so well not everyone is perfect and we all make mistakes with how we go about things sometimes so I think this game goes along the theme of no matter if you like someone or not be the bigger person and show them the way be mature show them how to ask and not just do like how he did with the amulet and instead asked to lead the way in the end Lucas is a G and if I knew him irl I would blessed to have him as a friend as would the rest of us
My first play through I didn't realize how rude I was being to Lucas until the end of the run, so I literally replayed the whole game to not be an asshole-
hold on a minute, how does lukas get armor in the cave ? is that a glitch or something. The first time Jesse and the others go to the cave, I think only Jesse, and either Magnus or Ellegaard has armor, and no one else has armor already on them in the first part of episode 4: A Block and a Hard Place ?
Unfortunately s3 has been confirmed that it won’t come out due to the fact that when they came back they had ended their contract with mojang meaning s3 won’t come out unless they renew the contract they had

Huh, I did not know there were actually three ways that wither storm scene could play out There's no Lukas, where instead you have to deal with the Wither Storm's attacks while you build, this only happens if you're rude to him and dont appologize There's Lukas with the Ocelots, where they distract the wither storm, this can happen on any playthrough, either if you're nice to him, and let him leave, or you're rude to him but appologize And then there's Lukas alone, where it's the same as Lukas with the Ocelots, but he distracts it alone, this happens when you're nice to him, but convince him to stay in the cave

I love this game for the reason of showing no matter where you come from you gotta know your roots they were losers then all of a sudden saved the world and everyone knows them and loves them they purposely made it so Lucas seemed selfish and self centered especially at the end dimension but then he ended up just wanting to feel helpful and useful in a way like he wasn’t just freeloading and wanted to show the group he can also do this and help save the world I always loved Lucas even when I played this as a 9 year old or whenever the hell this game came out incredible character arc for him too I remember in the mob grinder he ran from all the mobs and left Ruben then felt horrible for what he did and ever since that moment he stepped it up almost like Luigi in the Mario brothers and he was extremely likable imo he was always so sweet and he went about the amulet wrong but it went with his character so well not everyone is perfect and we all make mistakes with how we go about things sometimes so I think this game goes along the theme of no matter if you like someone or not be the bigger person and show them the way be mature show them how to ask and not just do like how he did with the amulet and instead asked to lead the way in the end Lucas is a G and if I knew him irl I would blessed to have him as a friend as would the rest of us
My first play through I didn't realize how rude I was being to Lucas until the end of the run, so I literally replayed the whole game to not be an asshole-

They'll only have their armour in the ending of episode 4 if they went with you to Ivor's house

It only effect on ep 5, where lukas He goes after Jesse and they both apologize, then the same thing continues in the next episodes.

hold on a minute, how does lukas get armor in the cave ? is that a glitch or something. The first time Jesse and the others go to the cave, I think only Jesse, and either Magnus or Ellegaard has armor, and no one else has armor already on them in the first part of episode 4: A Block and a Hard Place ?
@@NotAddi-c5e it is a glitch, i had rerun that scene from my save point from the first playthrough, noone is supposed to have armour there
Unfortunately s3 has been confirmed that it won’t come out due to the fact that when they came back they had ended their contract with mojang meaning s3 won’t come out unless they renew the contract they had

There's also an ending where Lukas stays with you the whole time.

Huh, I did not know there were actually three ways that wither storm scene could play out
There's no Lukas, where instead you have to deal with the Wither Storm's attacks while you build, this only happens if you're rude to him and dont appologize
There's Lukas with the Ocelots, where they distract the wither storm, this can happen on any playthrough, either if you're nice to him, and let him leave, or you're rude to him but appologize
And then there's Lukas alone, where it's the same as Lukas with the Ocelots, but he distracts it alone, this happens when you're nice to him, but convince him to stay in the cave
