- Hi everyone!
Sooooo, listen. I know Lukas is my favorite cinnamon roll of all time, and I have been an MCSM fan since the game's release. So when I found a picture 3 years ago on the Minecraft Story Mode Wiki about Lukas being angry in the celebration of the New Order, I was speechless because I've never come across that choice! I tried looking up to see if there was a gameplay that led to that happening but to no avail. The closest I got was Technoblade's gameplay where he was mean to Lukas but not harsh enough for that choice to happen and a couple of other videos where people did the same thing but never revealed the ending.
So, this week I mustered up the courage to pick every possible terrible choice that would lead to the outcome of that photo. I can't believe it took me so long to find this out, and if it took me this long to know about it, there's no telling how little of the fandom knows about it too!
Playing the game and picking all the mean options was torture for me. I'm happy to have got it done, but I felt horrible when I saw the REAL consequence of my actions.
Lukas, I'm sorry for what I have put you through. You didn't deserve to be treated that way for the sake of science.
P.s. None of the footage from episode 2 was saved.

Lukas wasn't inherently mean, I don't think. He just hung out with people who had Disney Channel bully animosity towards Jesse for literally no other reason other than she was the protagonist.

Even though the creators knew almost no one would try being mean to Lukas, they still decided to make this ending. Every game they make always feel so alive and immersive, you gotta appreciate it.

they mostly did it because they didn't want to make too many dialogue branches. it'd be too difficult to make different lines for Lukas depending on what terms he was with Jesse in episodes 1-4, so forcing them to make up at the beginning of adventure pass was a game design choice rather than a story-wise choice. but i agree that they didn't have to do this. they could just play dumb and make some character mention that they made up behind the scenes so Jesse and Lukas could have friendly relationship by default, but they made a whole scene for this and it's definitely something to be appreciated. they went an extra mile for this.

The main plot is basically unaffected by your choices, but its interesting how much you can twist Jesse's character away from how it's usually viewed as by picking these kinda options.
Also, damn. This is a good way to figure out you like Lukas. This felt bad to watch.

This shows that Lukas is indeed the most developed and fleshed out character (along with Petra) in Minecraft Story Mode (at least through episodes 1-4 season 1) I love him so much 🤍🤍🤍
I think that Lukas in the first four episodes, Petra, and Ivor have the most fleshed out arcs. Portal arc Lukas is kinda eh...
@@randomality77 Yes, portal arc Lukas is used so poorly and it frustrated me how the writers made him so useless and always getting captured or left out. At least in season 2, they gave him a little bit more of skill and presence, in episode 2.
@betasworld Same, except I didn’t really like him in Season 2 either because he was still flanderised and “just... there”. He was also as perfect as he is in the Portal arc, which I didn’t really like. For me to like a character, they need to have good flaws and character development (one of the many reasons why I prefer Petra over Lukas tbh.)
Shame too, because Witherstorm arc Lukas was great for those reasons. He’d probably be one of my favourites in the game, had he not been handled poorly (or heck, just written out of the Portal arc altogether).

It was extremely painful to watch Jesse be so cruel to Lukas. Every instinct I have is bugging me to offer him a hug and a loving friend but he's not a real person and this is driving me insane but I have to keep watching because of my own curiousity!! I can't believe you had to go through that.

I think I saw the death scene and the ending before from a youtuber
I like to think Jesse's held a grudge against Lukas for all those years he and the ocelots beat her and her friends in every building competition, That year was her final straw, Her hate for Lukas grew more and more by the hour, She knew she couldn't seperate Lukas from the group, So she refuses to treat him right, refuses to acknowledge him or give him a shot at being useful, making him feel the opposite, useless, like he's not meant to be a part of the team, which is what she's aiming for, taking her frustration out on him whenever he tried to assist or help in leading the team, And just when he was about to leave the group to go look for his friends, She tells him that he's being stupid, Fueling his wish to leave the gang behind and look for the ocelots instead, He left the group, She did get what she wanted, at first she didn't feel happy, she was mad at first, but as time went on she started to become remorseful of how she treated him, already missing him and regretting the way she treated him.
And in the end, When Jesse and her friends are making their appearance known in Beacon town, She mentions how her friends were there to help her, Even Lukas, The blonde among the crowd who just glares and storms off angrily, Even giving him credit wouldn't fix the damage that was done, So she regrets what she did to him completely.
Wonder how things would’ve been differently if Lukas didn’t return to fight with Jesse, Petra, and Ivor in the Portal arc… and beyond through season two. 🤔

Lukas is my favorite charater in mcsm because hes positive and when you first meet him with his team, lukas is the nice one here and even telling Aiden and the 2 to stop wasting time Because they were bullying Jessie. Lukas is a awesome guy and should have more love by players.
Lukas is awesome; I totally agree. He's my favorite character in the entire game! And he is loved by many players, no doubt about that! I apologize if this video made you believe otherwise. In actuality, this video is titled "the rare ending" because extremely few people had actually been mean to Lukas, which is why this ending is so rare. There's only one comment on this video where someone knew about this ending. Other than that, no one has heard of Lukas being angry or upset during the New Order's ceremony because everyone treated him kindly.

I was always so sad about how you could always be incredibly mean to Lukas in somw choices but never really pick on anyone else quite as much.
Even when you made choices in Luka's favor the game punished you by having him choose to sit out and do a section without him. Like... the nicer you were to Lukas the less time you spent with him in the story???
Lukas' chatacter was one of my favorites, he felt like a classic protagonist with really good character growth and genuinely wonderful moments.

Apparently. Check out the comment I responded to "YoKipras 46" on this video. After I finished playing I did a bit of research as to why I wasn't able to pass that level so easily, since I've never died at that point in the game no matter how many times I play. It's interesting
@@SweetHeartRose I already checked it out, & ya right, Lukas always comes back to save 'em, so ya don't really need to do anything, but since ya were so mean to 'im, he decidedn'tta come & leave ya alone, so it forces ya to press's fast's possible to manage to save Axel & Olivia. Ya think it's even harder than the squid one (At the start of the game where Jesse was "training", there was a super-hard mashing scene'n which he tried to hold on a squid. It was optional tho)?

He does, he definitely does.
If you're nice to him or even a little mean to him he still comes back to you with fireworks. The majority of people who played this game all got Lukas to come back and save you with fireworks because he is really nice. Which is why it is extremely rare for someone to get this ending where he doesn't return at all, because you have to be EXTREMELY mean to him to not help you fight the Witherstorm. Which is why I was harsh to him to unlock this ending in episode 4.

I love how it really does show the consequences of being mean to him by making it possible to die when entering the storm since he's not there to bail you out. They really did put a lot of effort into every route in this game.
also fun fact: in the next episode when Lukas arrives in the order hall he'll try to apologize for being angry in this episode. Not that he had much to apologize for due to how he was treated.

I remember being mean to Lukas as well. Lukas didn't come to the rescue and I kept dying. But eventually, after intense spamming, I managed to rescue Axel and Olivia. You just need to spam faster.

I remember seeing something on Pinterest that said Lukas doesn't show up if you make him mad. I looked at all types of videos and never found it. I always saw this video, but with the cover, I thought it was an animation, until today. Today I read the cover, and clicked on it, I finally found out what happens when you make him mad, thank you for this. I really do regret not looking into this video sooner. I'm glad there are still creators making content on this game years after it stopped. You've earned yourself a new subscriber. I knew it wasn't impossible to save Axel and Olivia from the Witherstorm, there's no fun in that. I had a feeling it was something to do with you pressing Q, like you didn't do it enough, or stopped too early or something. Glad you figured it out on the third try. Could you maybe show what happened in Episode 5, the run in with Aiden, and if Lukas comes back, and what he says?

He's the only one who you can be mean to out of the group of friends, you don't really have a huge special episode where the main focus is your relationship with each other, he barely appeared in Season 2 and while he had an appearance in Episode 2 he just got pushed away in Episode 3 as for some reason, he's the only one who didn't get sent into prison despite him going into The Icy Palace of Despair (not saying that Nurm doesn't deserve to be sent into prison but you could've added Lucas as well), and out of all of Jesse's friends like Jack, Petra, Radar, Nurm, Axol, Olivia and hell even Stella by your choice, he's the only one why is required to be against you even tho there are so many opportunities for him to be with you to stop the Admin and just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, they even pushed him away before he can make it to the portal and fight Romeo by bedrock. And after all of that, he still remains to be one of the kindest friends out there yet he gets treated like this? This is one of the worst times I have seen where they treated a good character horribly I have ever seen, and I thought Lisa from The Loud House was treated horribly.
He mostly got writtien out of the season two, since his voice actor was really busy at the time I think

I mean, would it really make that much difference whether he was in Season 2 or not? Take him out of the Portal arc, for example. What changes?
Two choices.
The first one being choosing between him and the Founder in Episode 5, but you can easily replace him with another character.
The second one being choosing between him or Petra in Episode 7, but idk, it's kinda more fitting to fight Petra in the final battle anyway.

When I was editing the video, I had orginally planned to add a clip in the beginning that showed my gameplay save files that I named "Sorry Lukas, but it's for SCIENCE!" When making a new file. I ended up scratching that idea and mentioned it in the description instead.

I found a screenshot buried in the internet from 2017 of Lukas being mad at The Order's celebration. No matter how hard I looked I couldn't find a gameplay of that ending and the curiosity got the best of me last year when I built up the courage to make every bad possible choice to reach that ending. It was just as heartbreaking to play as it is to watch :(
