Saw it's commercial through a VHS tape, when I heard the song as a kid. It was hard to forget about it, especially up until now. It's beauty is not exaggerated.

It is so magical that even quasimodo did not end up with esmeralda he ended up with someone who cared for him and was in a same situation he had once been.

I know some of you users on RUclips say you don't like the sequel, but I actually like it.
I agree that some of the Disney sequels of whatever cartoon movie doesn't have any shadows or whatever, but they are still great sequels to me.
I absolutely LOVE THIS SONG!!! As a kid when I watched the 2nd Hunchback of Notre Dome I would always wait til the end of the movie to hear this song. Love it :)

Fox Teen Most Disney Sequels are terrible because it they are as good as the previous film then they might need to make it a trilogy instead of just wrapping things up

He wasn’t ready for love on the first film. His interest in Esmerelda was out of desperation. His relationship with her is also what set him apart from Frollo. Quasi accepts and respects her autonomy and is able to let her go. Frollo would rather die. Only when Quasi was accepted by the people could he truly love. That goes for all of us.

Why complain about the movie? Seriously people. Quasimodo actually met the love of his life. Isn't that really all that matters. The whole point is for him to be happy. That's what Disney gave him with this movie. Overall to me it's a great movie because of the fact that Quasimodo actually gets to live happily ever after. If he didn't then the movie would have definitely sucked. Overall as long as Quasimodo is happy isn't that the main thing to care about?

I agree, but then again this is Disney for crying out loud, people should have seen this coming. I know I did when I saw the previews for it when it first came out. The sequels are never as good as the original films. It's stupid to try and believe that disney will actually get A sequel right.
Dylan Wait Cinderella 3, The Rescuers Down Under, Fantasia 2000, the Winnie the Pooh sequels, Brother Bear 2, The Lion King 3, Aladdin and the King of Thieves and The Three Caballeros are proof that Disney can actually make good sequels.

Gaby George Do not overrate faithfulness to the book. The Jetlag Productions version of this story tried too hard to be faithful to the book, overlooking many important details for making a film. For being carelessly faithful, they had a poorly executed ending, a confusing storytelling, a weak dialogue and an uneven pacing.
Destroyer of Destruction yes, but the La Jolla theatrical production kept to the dark tone of the book AND was true to the ending while still keeping the songs from the 1996 film
Gaby George My point is that faithfulness to the source material does not GUARANTEE quality. If you can handle faithfulness, do it, but you should be careful when doing so.
