I have the SOG Pillar and I love it. The ricasso is a throw-back to the old SOG bowie's. I hope they make more high level knives with good materials made in the USA.
How much use have you gotten from your Pillar? I purchased the same one shown in this video, my very first knife! I have yet to use it, but _DAMN DOES IT EVER FEEL NICE IN MY HAND!!_ I bought it for my bugout bag/hunting kit, for if sh!t ever hits the fan, if you know what I mean.. Do you think this knife could last me a lifetime in the apocalypse? Or should I consider purchasing another?
@jimbob6270 hahaha dude it is a sick knife right I have used mine a crap load so far its comfy I sharpened it maybe once it cuts and Alice's wood and food and whatever man I used to to do outdoors stuff with its so slices I may even try it at skinning down the road idk why it is so damn slicey!
@@HeavySetTactical409 I purchased it for two reasons: first, it's manufactured in the good ol' USofA, and two, it's a CPM supersteel, S35VN. I've never put a knife to extended heavy use before, but I did my research and took a bet on this one. It won't fail me, will it? I'm considering getting another knife in Magnacut steel
These look like great fixed blades ... the Lionsteel is fantastic (have had in hand), and the Joker I'd like to try. If you want a great budget, 5"bl bushcraft, I highly recommend the Off Grid Knives Ridgeback for around $90.
LMFAO!!!!!! Not a scratch, not a blemish, not even a fingerprint on any of those knives or sheaths......... yeah.... you're all over it Daniel Boone!!! Hahahahaha!!!
Always amazes me that people who go in there back yard can talk about knives.. I practically live outdoors… get a mora, and and a hatchet.. all you need
$200 ??? Are you Fokken Nuts??? Most I payed was around $100 CDN pesos..Times are tough Bro I have plenty of knives, I have 5 right next to me for no reason, but my favourite is Mora Companion MG Carbon,as for chopping wood I will use my Husqwarna hatchet or axe…
Can’t imagine spending $200 and only one knife was capable of being worn for lefties. The joker nomad usually can be found for $110. Before the idiot and chief was installed back when gas was affordable the nomad was under a$ 100. Tops has a RUclips following but my experience with them has been overpriced with very thick edge grind. One knife was supposed to be scandi but it wasn’t even close. I would say they are overpriced with poor quality control. I’ve heard people that are really happy. Just everyone I know personally has had problems. Can’t speak about lionsteel out of my price range. I’ll make it myself before I spend $200+
The Lionsteel T5 and the SOG Pillar are really good tactical style kinves 👍
The Joker and Lionsteel ar fantastic 👌
thanks

I have a SOG Pillar - seems like a sleeper. Great materials, good value, great feel in the hands.
I like the first one, clip point blades are so nice looking.
Really great choises at this budget. I also have the Lionsteel T5 and i m very satisfied owner
Lionsteel are crushing it these days. Just got a t6 and it's already one of my favorites. Haven't used it much, but it just oozes quality.
,
Dude loving the t6 omg beast of a knife
You should try the lionsteel M7 you wont be disappointed it's an awesome knife.

dude i have always wanted to check out an off grid
Out of those 4, I take the LionSteel all day. But any one of those knives will do the job.
Tough to criticize that lineup. I think I’d just take the BOB in 1095.
Dude nice thnks bro
great list
right hand only

The Joker in my experience chips badly doing simple tasks. Do not recommend

Great choices...you should check out Survive knives, I just picked up the GSO 5.1 in 3V. Probably the finest fixed blade in my collection.
I got the gso 5
1 Gao 6 and gso 2.7
Demko freereign in magnacut $200 is a good option.
Right hand only
