I honestly think that what Tenjiro mean by saying, "Medical care isn't what you should be doing right now" he means that Unohana should've been fighting for Soul Society. It seems as Tenjiro is aware of Unohana's background as a notorious criminal
He's aware she is the true holder of Kenpachi. I think he means she should be fighting too but Kyouraku has plans that I don't necessarily agree with. I think she could have been a great front line fighter, maybe better than Zaraki. She could have pushed him to get stronger and then walked away. The sacrifice I thought was kind of poor writing. Her death felt shoehorned.

She is a complex character, she did not want the name Kenpachi anymore and gave that up when she became squad 4 captain. Yamamoto honoured her choice to longer be a violent criminal, that was his last order to keep her away from the battle field. This is why you see Isane have some releif when Zaraki tells her he killed her and no longer has the burden of the name kenpachi. People just want a good fight, but she fought enough and plenty for soul society back she was kenpachi, and I think the writing around her character in this arc was splendid to show that she changed and simply wanted to be a healer (this was difficult though when she saw so many comrades die in this arc).
It was not splendid. It was rushed and just silly. Total screen time of Unohana is one episode.

"It was his last order" - This I can't defend to the fullest, as I'm not sure the complete meaning, but Yamamoto did tell the entire Squad 4 to stay in their barracks, so they could heal any injured Soul Reapers.
"Isane is relieved" - Idk, probably in the manga, as we haven't seen the two meet up in the anime yet. But I'm not sure, since I haven't read the manga.

Read the arc again because some parts went over my head before the series aired. Pretty much confirmed the theory that Ichigo is practically a budding Soul King himself as he carries all the aspects of the realms. Human, shinigami, hollow/vizard, quincy. And that Squad 0 plan in forcing him as the next soul king one the current dies

Squad 0 fought decently, Yhwach technically had to step-in on the fight to reset his elite quincies back to full health and give them a power boost in a "cheat" way while keeping the Squad 0 retain the damage/stamina loss they took on their fights. His elites were shit that he had to use his ability to give them a Senzu bean and a power-up. But what'd you expect? They needed some "stakes" and the main cast has to be the one to beat them.
It's a pretty good way to sell the 'villain isn't honorable and a complete asshole' to motivate the accomplished feeling of the MC finally defeating them.
It's a cheap way to do it; but so long as it suits the characters, I'm cool with it.
That's completely wrong, Yhwach simply restored their power to their regular level, they were always that strong, they just regained their true strength.
Don't try and legitimize an asspull. These dudes were the strongest people in soul society and they were made out to be a joke in their only instance of fighting in the series. I wouldn't mind them losing if it was a long drawn out thing like Madara beating the 5 kage or even the hokages. That's how you do something like this correctly. Even though Madara beat them in the end we can all agree the kages collectively were pretty damn strong. The only person in Squad 0 was who had a somewhat good showing was Ichibe and I'd argue he didn't resist long enough for me to even say he did well. He was mid diff'd and the others were low diff'd. Because I've read the rest of bleach the whole time Ichibe fought Yhwach I was like "Prepare for Yhwach to pull out his bullshittium technique" and I wasn't disappointed lmfao.
The "My trump card will beat your trump card!... But my trap card will beat your trump card!" anime. Bleach is literally 'deus ex machina the anime'. haha.

I disagree. The reveal with Central 46 was better. We see that Kenpachi's true power is so terryfing that they don't even trust Yamamoto to keep him in line should he Rebel. But Shunsui is adamant, and the one given the task is none other than Unohana, the OG Kenpachi.
Focusing the reveal on building up the strongest Soul Reaper is, IMO, better than having her curbstomp some random Sternritter.
Not to mention, Zaraki already solod THREE Sternritter OFF-SCREEN. No matter how much Unohana dominates, there simply wouldn't be any impact at the idea of her training Zaraki.
I like the idea that when kirinji met unohana she was but a blood thirsty murderer but under his tutilidge she became based mom.

This scene shows clearly how much Unohana’s battle power is desperately needed by Squad 0…Tenjiro shamelessly implied that Unohana needs to return to the frontlines, not as a healer but as a warrior…Unohana is the senior-most captain in Soul Society, by virtual of being the member of the original gotei…Squad 0 most likely have only HEARD about her battle prowess; they have never actually seen her fight…..just look at the way Unohana answers Squad 0 ; she was totally calm, fearless after all Squad 0 are in-fact her juniors…..

Nianzol ability which tenjiro failed to do mind tou tenjiro was was fatser than soifon the same soifon was only compared in speed to yamamoto amongst the captains both having 100/100 in mobility above everyone else in that category..I can talk about her making clothes that with stand 72 barriers etc
Azashiro kenpachi was a manace in soul society all the captains excluding yamamoto failed to capture him was o.p but he surrendered to the arrival of the zero squad and not all members came down and we know ichibei stayed cause his the last line of defence against the soul king the same with yamamoto in gotei 13
Hikifune said the zero squad do things according to the soul king level and practice all shiningami traditions meaning also/ hakuda/hodo/kido/zanjistu etc so they are at peak soul reaper and ichibei said there many techniques that exist in soul king Palace that doesn't exist in soul society
That's why captain aizen wanted to transcend beign a shiningami because even tho he was peak it was not enough even for him to use shiningami arts against the zero squad because they are masters too
Tenjiro wasn't afraid of fighting against yuha with his performance with yamamoto he was afraid of what kind of new abilities he myt have acquired through history

See I happen to think it's some point in the past after who know Unohanna gave up the sword being defeated by a younger Kenpachi, she learned the healing arts from Tenjiro, then soon afterwards he got promoted to the zero division and she took over in his place is captain of squad 4. And as old as some of the squad zero members are you would think that some of them would at least have been in the original gotei but that never happened to my surprise. So maybe Tenjiro and others were captains after the oringal gotei memebers were put in Muken, died, or retired and then later got promoted in the Zero division
I think it's more that while the Gotei 13 are the main force of the shinigami now, back when they were formed they were more just a small section of the shinigami, a force of the worst-of-the-worst formed specifically to fight Yhwach and the Quincies. Chigiri, the first Squad 4 captain, doesn't seem to be a healer, so it seems more likely that Tenjiro was the head of a separate shinigami healing corps that eventually got rolled into Squad 4 after Unohana took it over. Much like how we're told Urahara was the one who linked Squad 12 with the Research and Development Institute, which had previously been entirely separate, or how the Onmitsukido are technically a separate group to Squad 2, but have been functionally absorbed into it because they have the same leader.

He's probably the only one in all of Soul Society other than Yamamoto (who is dead at this point) who both knows how monstrous she is and yet isn't intimidated by her. I suppose Ichibei wouldn't be either, but we never see proof of that. It's a shame that, with the exception of Ichibei and, to an extent, Oetsu, Squad Zero became nerfed.
I did not agreed to a statement that they are nerfed. They are overly hyped that's what zero division are. Nerfed is when someone who's shown to be strong then gets weaker with no reason. Hyped means they got praise more than their capability no proof to back their claim. .

Renji, a Vice Captain, became the fodderizer of a Captain fodderizer in the short time he was there. If we gave Unohana a Royal power up, that would be a whole other story.

What gets me is that if Unohana was able to fight Zaraki for 3 days straight while also healing him very quickly from fatal wounds hundreds of times over, why wouldn't she be able to heal Byakuya, Renji, and Rukia? Like I know them getting massively stronger could only happen up in the Zero Division palaces, but the healing criticism seems weird to me, it just doesn't fit from what we know of Unohana's capabilities
Could be the injuries are more internal than physical since soul reapers fight with their spiritual energy. And damage from quincies might be different than damage from fellow shinigamis. Thats why that guy from squad 0 soaked all 3 of them in his healing onsen.

Well the point here was that there was no time to spare, Quincy might have invaded at any point and even restoring those three byakuya still had his bankai stolen and the other two had a broken bankai and a shikai. They would have been powerless even if they got healed in the seireitei. They needed both to heal fast and train. Also when she healed hiyori who got bisected by Gin, she fixed her body perfectly but she also said that it was all up to her will to go on living if she would have survived or no. She is not like Orihime who can rejects anything to the point the damage or even death itself never happened bypassing any mental damage.

Gotei 13 has no strong healer at least when Unohana died. And her healing techniques are for another and just above average at least but compared to Isane or any other with medical technique it’s nothing. One thing that slowed them up too is healing during TYBW. Thankfully Mayuri has other ways 🎉

She brought back Zaraki from nothing more than a skeleton with eyeballs, it's just child's play for her. I think one of the reasons why people think Unohana is stronger than members of Sqd 0 is because of it being mentioned somewhere that “even without Minazuki, Yachiru would still be a force to reckoned with because of all the deadly sword styles she knows. It could easily overpower most sword releases”.
But what people don’t realize is most sword release’s ARE relatively weak. Only the Captains and some of their Vices are amongst the strongest. Remember wayyy back in season two that Soul Reaper that fought with Oriheme and Uryu? His release was what? Flying daggers or something similar. Most Soul Reapers in soul have this level of Zanpaktou. That’s practically nothing compared to a man whose sword abuses all 5 senses, or a sword that emits spiritual pressure so powerful that it bursts out in flames.
_Keep in mind that Nimaiya is the one that created these all powerful Zanpaktou_
