I would also add "When the Last Sword is Drawn" to that list. Those are my 3 favorite samurai movies Hidden Blade, and Twilight Samurai. I watched and own Love and Honour but for me I put the other three ahead of it.
The soldiers were order to shoot him because he was a criminal by betraying his clan. The main character was trying to save his friend's honor throughout the whole fight.
this was an incredible badass fight and final strike. The movie was great and so was the Twilight Samurai and Love and Honour
